The 28mm is utterly massive compared to the knight titan. It would serve more as a proxy for an actual titan, such as a warhound scout titan. 1.bp.blogspot.com/-hQ4zM-hMs3c/UwLH3TenKLI/AAAAAAAAAUM/IHWZd-uVGZg/s1600/20140217_210205.jpg
Funny thing is, people say 'space commie Tau' like it's a bad thing, but, the Tau are the best, most moral race in the galaxy. If you're American, you may like the Chaos Marines, or something. Hhaha.
Is there a way two put the Gatling cannon of the Leviathan on the Knight for some Renegade-Knight with dual avenger-cannon shenanigans? I mean, would it fit and could it be magnetised easily? Going from the video the size looks about right.
Okay, here's something to point out regarding the Knight Titan. Photos and video don't do it justice. It might only be six inches tall, but it makes up for that in sheer bulk. It's a very chunky monkey. That being said, now that I've assembled mine and have gotten a good look at it, I'm actually happy with the size. It's big, but not too big. Unlike the stupidly oversized Wraithknight that towers over everything but gets cover saves by putting it's toe in the bushes (!@#$ You, Eldar, !@#$ You.) this guy is just big enough to give you good line of sight, but also makes it a challenge to find cover for it. If you want it to get cover, you actually have to TRY. The Knight Titan is also a gorgeous model that is ridiculously customisable. The instruction booklet even has a guide for the transfer sheet so you know what's what and where it's meant to go. This really is the best kit I've seen from them in a long time. Even if you don't plan to use it, it's just fun to pick up (discounted of course) so you can put it together and paint it in your favorite color scheme, or one of your own devising.
while it looks like the Levi is smaller, the guns look almost exchangeable. Is that so? I ask because I hate the hand to hand weapon and want to change it.
too bad that even if you did use the Leviathan model, you'd never be able to take it in and use it in an official GW store or tournament. shame cause there are some really awesome non-GW models from other tabletop games.
'master! i got to hear they are using unofficial miniatures in one of our hobby stores' *by god...launch the lawyer army, give them hell.* they are annoying pieces of shit when they dont allow people use miniatures that dont cost more than new chevrolet
so WTF that leviathan is clearly smaller. and sure is when knight is 8 inches and that leviathan is about 4.6 inches. but the bigger leviathan is 8.5 inches. but it is HUGE side of knight. so watta hell?! I dont understand it. www.cold-moon.com/40k/Miniatures/KnightHousehold/Paladin/KnightScaleShots%20(1).JPG just look at it. doesnt fit to my head when difference is just 0.5 someone explain this to me. PLEASE
its more like this, you play on a competitive side or on an entertainment side, playing for fun, then fuck it, regardless of size, on the other hand, when you play on the competitive side its just a pissing contest to see who spent the most money, its obviouse, the more you spend, the better your odds
+dgfjbhknml, I dunno dude They have the 4.5" scale and the 8.5" scale. I am looking to get both sizes because I want the 4.5" for a dreadknight and the 8.5" for a knight titan

Put up the true 28mm Leviathan, and the Imperial Knight turns into a pup.
GUYS IM FROM THE FUTURE 40K WILL GET 2 MORE EDITIONS AND 8th ED WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING also RIGHT NOW WE ARE WAITING FOR THE KNIGHT CODEX AGAIN
so here we are in 9th waiting for the new codex cause knights are not balanced well
I think the video is not accurately named, as you point out in video that's the 15mm version, and I'm wondering about the 28mm one.
The 28mm is utterly massive compared to the knight titan. It would serve more as a proxy for an actual titan, such as a warhound scout titan.

Greggles Can I get more pics of that space commie Tau? That looks fucking amazing.
The N4SA Joah Hey Joah! Sorry, I just found that on a google image search, I don't have any more links to the cool color scheme :(.
Funny thing is, people say 'space commie Tau' like it's a bad thing, but, the Tau are the best, most moral race in the galaxy. If you're American, you may like the Chaos Marines, or something. Hhaha.
The 15mm looks about the right size for the new Leviathan seige Dreadnoughts from FW.
+Lockark Dryavoska its a little bigger than them still actually
fondles the dreamforge model for the majority of the video- perfectly movable and durable. Touches the Gamesworkshop model once- falls apart.
The shoulder pad wasnt glued on ffs. Its a part that isnt meant to be articulated in the slightest.
thanks rob i was really curious about the scale
its the smallest of the titans..thats what i was always told
Comparing the 15mm model to the knight isnt really a fair comparison, should have done the 28mm also. which is taller by about 2"
taller than the knight by about 2" rather.
The smaller one looks rly cool.... if I had the dosh I think I would have some in my BA army
Still want to see a comparison between all three! 28mm Lev please!
Is there a way two put the Gatling cannon of the Leviathan on the Knight for some Renegade-Knight with dual avenger-cannon shenanigans? I mean, would it fit and could it be magnetised easily? Going from the video the size looks about right.
+MarJanKortess no its more of a dreadknight size

would the tau riptide still be smaller than the imperial knight? or at least i would imagine so...?
the knight is about an inch taller than the riptide i got them both and the riptide is definately smaller
Id use the smaller one like a slaved mech servant to the knight :p but... i will wait for the codex to apear before ripping a hole in my wallet

the gun would make a cool weapon for the knight about right size to
while it looks like the Levi is smaller, the guns look almost exchangeable. Is that so? I ask because I hate the hand to hand weapon and want to change it.
Yes you can interchange the arms/weapon. The kit is built for weapon swaps.
Can you use the leviathan an a leviathan ?
That's rather a Dreadknight than an imperial knight.
how does it compare to a contemptor though?
+timbosix waaaaay bigger
+Spikey Bits dayum. it would have been the perfect proxy with some puppetswar walker arms xD
Cool comparison !!!
are tey both from warhammer ?
If you lengthened the legs of the DFG Crusader I bet It would work...
Especially if you look at 2:55, the DFG mass is distributed more evenly where as the IK is less even but still comparable.
I went for the Big Dramforge one. I'll nurglyfy him hohoho
How tall is it? Inches, cm, cubits, I'm not picky.
~16 cm
Thank you.

Stormandreas There's plenty of non GW stores out there.

shadedreaver I really meant the size difference of leviathan and knight because it made no sense.
+MrAnimepredator thing is DF would probly get some legal shit if the figures were the same size
i would take the faceplate off and stick a space marine in there
I just call it a imperial knight
Hi rob the dream forge titan gets my. Vote i like the moving hydraulics nice. Touch to The kit liked and. Shared
very heplful
I rock 8in Battleteh Warhammers as my knights, if people don't like it..they can kiss my butt or buy me some models from GW.
Bad Proxy is bad.
+dgfjbhknml, I dunno dude They have the 4.5" scale and the 8.5" scale. I am looking to get both sizes because I want the 4.5" for a dreadknight and the 8.5" for a knight titan
I don't think you know what a piston is.
