    Good video and a great job. Looks great. One thing that should have been mentioned, you should always check the balancing, make sure the wheels are true before sealing the spokes.

      Jason Skvorc ya mine were straight. I sort of mentioned the damaged part at the beginning. But you right the true portion is just as important. Thanks for the feed back. I tell ya I go over these vids a few times and I always forget something hehe. Cheers

      Nice! Super easy to do. Just make sure you don’t damage the bead on your tire putting it on. I love mine. Worked great.

    Would this do it yourself tubeless set up work on the larger wheels stock wheels?

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  4 роки тому +1

      It could. But off-roading is a little harder on tires and tubes as I’m sure your aware. If your rims crack or bend then would be impossible to hold air. Also with off-roading airing down your tires would not be possible either. I did the tubliss system for my off-road set up instead. I did a vid on it. if ya wanna see that vid it’s on my channel.

    Excuse me ! Can the wheels of WR250X/R be directly installed on WR250F?

    Great video.... thinking of doing this myself when I need to swap my next set of tires. Bike looks awwsome👍
    I have a question that I cant seem to find the answer anywhere and thought you may know. My diagnostic mode is not working properly anymore and I have some error codes that I cant clear. I am just wondering what part is responsible to make diagnostic work? Is it same part that stores error codes? Is it the ECU under the seat, electronic cluster on bars or both? Maybe something else? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks ...

      Diagnostics Mode
      The WR has a fantastic little diagnostics mode built right in to the cluster. Below are the steps to enter the diagnostics mode, and an explanation of what each of the options.
      How to Enter Diagnostics Mode
      Ensure the killswitch is set to OFF
      Press and hold the ‘RESET’ and ‘SELECT1’ buttons
      Turn on the ignition key
      Hold both buttons for 8 seconds until display changes to ‘Diag’
      Press both buttons again and hold for another 3 seconds until display changes to ‘D01’
      Cycle though the menu using ‘SELECT1’ and ‘SELECT2’

      @@bigair0176 Yes I have used it before many times and it worked perfectly. Now it is not working right. Just trying to figure out what part is actually responsible to run that diagnostic program... thanks appreciate your input....

      @@donpetryna4356 I have never had that apart. Does everything else work properly like time and speedo? If you have an aftermarket exhaust be sure to check to see if you have an exup emulator installed. If you don’t know where to look watch my exhaust install video. If you don’t have an emulator it will continue to throw a code even after you clear it. I don’t imagine either the cluster or the computer will be cheap if one of those is failing. I’m no tech, I’m just a a guy in the back yard sharing my knowledge a little hehe. Maybe a phone call to the Yamaha service department. They may be able to hook up a diagnostic tool to see what needs to be replaced. Sorry dude I can’t help ya much more then that. Would be nice to have some spare parts to try and swap em em out to see if the the problem goes away if you replace the cluster or cpu

      @@bigair0176 Thanks for the reply, appreciate it
      I do have eliminator and FMF etc. Everything works as far as I can tell. Diagnostic doesn’t cycle the headlight or fan but they work.
      I will have to bring into shop to have them hook it up to see what is going on with it...
      thanks again for the replies... 👍👍

    Did you use the 2” silicone tape for both front and back wheel? Then cut the extra tape from the front?

    • @bigair0176
      @bigair0176  4 роки тому +1

      Yes and even had some left over. I cut the tape in the front cause it’s so sticky on the angles it’s to hard to get the air bubbles out. So it was easier to cut the tape after installed it.
