Be sure to let the trans learn the tune every time you change the tune. I’ve never been a fan of “switch on the fly” due to the transmissions learning feature. This is why I leave mine in the race tune.
@@Noah-me8dg They get better fuel economy on the hot tune almost always, I do it as well with my 6.7. People get it mixed up and think the hot tune is going to blow it up, no, only if you’re out hot rodding in it 24/7
Lowkey I don't like chrome wheels as much to myself. But this build has completely changed my perspective on seeing chrome wheels on trucks! I love this setup the most.
I broke that tab once. Fixed it by drilling holes through the mount on both sides of the cross looking thing as far down as I could get them and zipties on both sides of the metal clip through the holes. It never broke again and I was always taking that panel off to wire random stuff in.
I got one for my 5.9 and never had any problems beside it not turning on sometimes but everyone said my tranny die but I left it on the fuel economy tune and yet pulled on most vehicles 😂 but I put it on the hot tune to mess around but over all I would say it worth for the price
i have the same tuner for my gasser 2009 gmc 5.3 i love it had it for a good while now i’d say it’s worth it especially with gassers disabling afm/v4 mode also gives you a lot more information on the screen

When you were swiping at 6:30 - 7:00 there was A LOT of screen tearing. I have to ask... was that happening IRL; or, was the device perfectly fine and the screen tear was just a recording bug?
i had a cts3 on my '20 f150 but since i totaled that and have had my '23 ive been so sad waiting for them to make one for it, none of the others on the market compare imo

My dad has one on his Cummins they’re pretty nice and decent can tunes.

What product do you use for your tire shine?
I have the CTS 3 as my monitor. Very nice and handy. My tunes are from Danville.
Edge also makes one for the diesels with more power it’s the cts3 but it’s the cts3 juice with attitude.
We have three versions of CTS3. Insight for monitoring. Evolution for flash tuning. And Juice for inline tuning.
Idk if you know about them but fleece performance makes an easy kit to run high, low, and fog lights on these trucks when your high beams are on.

I think the chrome wheels look sick, at the end of the day it’s what you like.

Not a huge fan of the red color and big chrome rims but the lbz is a beautiful truck. I hope to own one one day

The LBZ duramaxes come with it, I modified one to fit in my 04 gasser, best interior mod imo
