    Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
    If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
    I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

    The Harrier has become my go-to SEAD aircraft currently. SO fun to zoom down and low and get the SAMs. Plus, I haven't had a sidearm get shot down like a HARM does all the time

    • @dienkonig33
      @dienkonig33 Рік тому +2

      It's fun yes, but the fact that defenses don't pick up the sidearm is entirely a bug and should be fixed. The thing is quite unbalanced at the minute; apparently this missile was never actually fired in combat for a variety of reasons and DCS should reflect that as much as possible. I love the Harrier but it shouldn't make SEAD look as easy as this 😅

      @@dienkonig33 TBF, razbam has focused ALOT of effort on improving the mirage over the years and now developing the F15, I’m hoping post F15 launch now that the Mirage is in a much more stable place they can reallocate resources to both bringing the F15E to the higher spec as it’s coming out missing a fair few things, and then improve and add features to the harrier aswell as fix things that are broken.
      Then and only then do I feel they should really start the mig23, three modules that all need improving is enough of a list, I would personally prefer they finish or polish those completely before releasing another

    That's amazing how you can attack up to 4 different targets with a fire and forget mode on a single pass. That makes it even more deadly than the A-10C in certain situations, or at least to my knowledge there is no such way to do something similar with the Hog.

    I find the SA-2 the most dangerous and annoying SAM. I’ve dodged 6 SA-6 missiles in a row headon before, but never even dodged 1 SA-2.
    The reason I dodged so many? Someone thought it would be funny to make a training mission for the F-16 where you are bombing targets with regular bombs and CBU’s. The “funny” part is that they placed an SA-6 site just within range of those ground targets you’re bombing. So you get within range to drop and all of a sudden your RWR is going nuts. It was driving me crazy so I took a peek at the map and saw the SAM site. I decided “fuck it” and just flew straight at it intended to bomb it with regular bombs. I watched each missile come in, would crank to the right and then as it got REALLY close I would pull up and over it and to the left, making it pass literally inches by me. Did that 6 times in a row and dropped a bomb right on the search radar. Luckily it has a min range so once I was close enough it stopped firing at me. But man was that one of my proudest moments in DCS.
