That is an awesome technique for painting the individual bricks. I'd been racking my brains trying to think how to do it on a piece of foam I made up like a wall, lol.

Great build! I am assuming the box art of this model is a photo? If so, they really need to take your model to a photoshooting and use it as boxart for a re-release. I don't think that one could really make that much more from this kit. The detailwork you put in the bricks and the inside walls really sets this model apart from others. Fantastic job! 👌The only detail i still don't really like are the blueish stones on the road,they look kinda weird to me.

Great result! But I think it will be better to put a bit of putty in that hole in corner between walls from the interior side. Even in case, when putty make a little "arch" in the corner it will be realistic. All the best! ;)

I never would have thought to paint the bricks with a sponge. A lot quicker than the way I’ve done it. I’d paint the bricks, seal it with 2 coats of dull coats and the light grey wash and remove the excess wash
That's a perfectly valid approach too, with pros and cons 👍

I live in Europe and I don't notice a green/copper oxide tint to brickwork?!?!
Edit: I live in the UK and were not part of Europe anymore. The copper oxide must have vanished when we left Europe - my mistake ;)
