It only works if one sex is put on a pedestal and offered the choice by the other ex agreeing to work for it.

Gail Dines who is fighting against porn with other experts said that in 2002 the new law allowed women under 18 years old to be in the porn industry, because its discrimination.
So it caused an explosion of sexual abuse of teens.... and teens being kidnaped and sexually abused even 12 years olds but also child pornography. So she does seminars about it. She said that men dont understand that the porn industry is very violent and that many women are trafficked without their consent. 90 percent of women in the porn industry or strip club industry were sexually abused before or in childhood, so they are groomed to do the job because of its familiarity in their brains.
But she is not just a feminist but she is also on the side of men because the industry created such tactics that 10 or 13 years old boys who see porn, are innocent boys whose brain gets hijacked by porn and it creates such great imprint in their brain that later they may become trafficked or they may become future consumers opening their credit cards because its multimillion-dollar industry. Also, other male experts said that if 8 or 9 years old see porn movies they may become future trafficked people or consumers, that it's a form of grooming.
In documentaries, they say these kids who were exposed to porn too early have a problem understanding healthy sexuality full of love and empathy and have problems finding relationships. It also destroys families because of the normalization of the sexualization of people.
The youtube channel Fight the new drug says a lot of info and research about it More than 40 percent of women are trafficked against their will 20 percent are trafficked kids or teens, and also some men.
Another male expert that from 2008 to 2011 the number of 13 years olds seeing porn increased from 14 to 49 percent, just because of better cell phones He says that porn itself is a recipe for rape. That it's not how sex and intimacy and relationship look like.
He said studies show that when they were scanning men´s brains watching porn, the parts of the brain that contain objects were activated, not the parts of the brain that contain humans.
That the more people watch porn the less pleasure they feel from watching it because the receptors of the brain shut down from so much dopamine.
It seems that teens shouldnt use cell phones and rather do sports or go to nature because it's healthy for their brain.
So it seems feminism that cares about the protection of young men and women and their mental health is good, especially when it comes to law and protecting human rights. But of course, the other topics like equal pay are quite too much because it's based on different. Equality isn't possible.

I gave up a well paid job when I had my children, my husband asked what I wanted to do and supported me doing it.
I got to enjoy raising our children myself, it’s not always easy, it’s hard work, tiring and sometimes money can be tight at the side of duel income households.
You however can’t beat watching your children explore and develop, both mine spends hours in the garden digging and collecting bugs, they played out in all weathers and even to this day are rarely ill thanks to a robust immune system.
You learn as much off of children, as they do off you, you all grow together as a family, there’s nothing quite like it.
Only a few weeks ago we were driving somewhere and the oldest who’s 18 thanked me for not palming them off onto someone else to raise them. All their friends come from stable families, even at their tender age they understand the importance and implications of parents who sacrifice versus those who don’t.

Well to be fair, OP, if that's what you told him then I can see why you got the response you got. How long do you think you need to make a happy, healthy, nurturing, grounding home exactly? I mean, daily. An hour? A few hours? Okay so what about the rest of the day? What would your plans be then I wonder? It sounds like yes, you intend to do nothing all day while a man in your life actually puts in the work and the time. You made no mention of kids, so this is probably why you got the response you got and earned the response you got.
Now, if you intended to refer to having a family at that home you were making, then that's different. While not a "job" per se, being a homemaker with kids requires a lot of effort for sure, make no mistake. If you don't plan to have kids and want to make this fantastic home you mentioned...then yeah it sounds an awful lot like you plan to be a lazy mooch in the game of life while everyone else is actually working for a living.

Liberalism has ruined movies and TV shows. Every single movie and TV show now has a "inclusivity" list where they not only have to have people of certain colors or backgrounds, but they must also necessarily write in to these scripts political or social agendas. The follow up to Sex in the City show, "And just like that" is a prime example where every single episode has some kind of political or ideological statement and due to this...the show was complete garbage. It's so frustrating because the writing has just gotten extremely lazy where every show or movie has the same problems....too much focus on ideologies and too little on actual good story writing.

In defence of Dungeons and Dragons (not that I've seen it):
If ever you were going to have a film where female warriors have parity in combat with their male counterparts, then it would be this one.
That's what DnD is all about! A bunch of scrawny weaklings get together and create characters. They can identify as human, elf, dwarf of either gender, and it makes no difference to the game play as their stats are derived by rolling dice, and improved by acquiring experience.
Of course, by the same logic, making a DnD film kind of misses the point; but then again I suppose, even if the plot sucks, you can just blame the "players" or "Dungeon Master" for coming not up with a better one.

No. I understand the point he's making. I just think DnD is a bad example, because the very concept it is based on renders any distinctions of a character other than the stats you've rolled as purely cosmetic. An imaginative player might take such things as gender (or height for dwarves) into account when role-playing their character, but they don't have to. As long as they roll a sufficiently high strength and have the luck of the dice on their side in combat, then their chosen gender is entirely irrelevant. That might result in quite a crude game, but that is why it's DnD and not literature.

Some black guy who did an interview with Jay Shetty said good points, he is also practically on the side of women explaining that men and women are different
because from biological perspective men and women have different thinking.
and he pointed out women are afraid to be feminine because they think if they will be peaceful, kind, and feminine, they lose power and get hurt by a man or husband, colleague etc.
I think we may say they are afraid to get hurt so they give up their feminity....even another woman can be nasty to women.
He said its not true because feminity and implementing kindness and peace is a powerful thing, it means giving peace is power, because its not controlling or affection but being in control of the situation
when you are nice and kind you actually are in control of the situation because you give the opportunity to the other person to be also nice and kind.
He said it's not about women not giving feminity but to whom you will give the feminity.
And another guy gives advice on youtube that not all men but some men are so ignorant and arrogant that the girlfriend or wife is so drained that she even
can not show her feminine-loving side all the time. He said that it may be to the point that she gives up and stops caring what he thinks.
So it means yes both genders should use empathy and kindness toward each other.

This is the initial and primary template of devaluation whereby a low valuation is fixed. Something which has no monetary value in our society is something which has no value at all - according to the market fundamentalists - who currently rule our culture. believe me plenty of us women hate it too. I've always hated feminism going as far back as the early 90s when I was in college. Yes there were conservative girls in college then. For movies, I can remember the first time noticing a change in woman character. It was in 2001 in The Mummy Returns. In the 1999 Mummy, the character Evie was my favorite. She was brave, smart but still feminine, soft and even goofy. By 2001, you can see how they made her character tougher and gave her a fight scene. And it's been all downhill from there.

Like The Critical Drinker always say, these fight scenes only "works" because of extremely accomodating stunt men. A 120lb woman taking on 8 well trained 250lb men in a straight up fist fight is laughable.
Ive only ever seen one close to realistic man vs woman fight where the woman won, in the movie Haywire, Gina Carano vs Michael Fassbender. That fight only works because Gina Carano is a beast that actually knows how to fight and has MMA experience, and the fight is choreographed to give her a realistic advantage. She still gets her ass beat but barely wins because of grappling techniques and cheap tricks. Watching Scarlett Johansson piruett and do cartwheels to take down 10 guys is ridiculous.

Punched me so hard I was lifted up and my head hit the bumper of another car. So NO, women can’t take punches or land one on a guy that will do anything. 7:00 is right. Feminism should give women choices but should not stigmatize the sacred feminine. We should honour those who raise and nurture the next generation. But diligence and selflessness are seldom rewarded.
Feminism has not made everybody miserable though. Just get some stories from the boomer generation about Catholic women becoming pregnant because it's their wifely duty, despite knowing from medical advice that it will kill them. Feminism is the reason women in that situation can now assert their own body autonomy.

    • @imagomagus
      @imagomagus 10 місяців тому

Agreed. Not only women, but men, too, have been liberated by feminism, and are now allowed to assert themselves in areas where before they had to face stigma. I wish we just stopped pushing people into predesigned molds and just let them live out their natural lives and potential. Let women AND men do what they want with their lives, but make sure they take personal responsibility for the outcome. Yes, feminism has now gone to far, but the solution is not to go back to the dark ages, but rather find a balance.

  • @garypowell1540
    @garypowell1540 10 місяців тому +3

Men are used to being insulted, it is a man's role in life to take responsibility, and all that this entails. Women are not which is also why men are traditionally trained to regard any insult to any female member of their family as an insult to themselves, especially to their wife or mother.
No Man is a Superman, Batman, Spiderman, or any other kind of superhero, the vast majority are just ordinary guys, who bleed and die like any other. Therefore watching male superheroes do their thing is an insult to the common man, as this will engender within him a sense of inferiority as he will clearly know that he is not capable of doing any of these kinds of things.
Women on the other hand are not used to feeling this way other than when they see incredibly attractive women being able to get a man to do whatever she wants simply because of her attractiveness and guile. However, when they are also shown to be physically superior even to their own husbands or boyfriends this is often an insult too far.
Firm producers used to be aware that it is primarily women who make or break a movie. It is primarily women who decide which movies the family and her husband are going to watch. This is why females generally like male Superhero movies, as these kinds of characters provide an object for their sexual fantasies and also give the subtle message to their own man that he is not really up to much, or as much as they may prefer.
IMO this is the main reason why these kinds of movies bomb the box office, and Bond movies for example have not in the past. They are an even greater insult to the common woman who knows full well that she will never come close to emulating any kind of superwoman. She would also prefer their male partner would not concentrate his attention on a female character at all, never mind one with greater physical capabilities than they have themselves. They rightly believe that a man who prefers a physically dominant woman is not the kind of man that they would have any respect for, for I hope obvious reasons.
These kinds of movies please neither women nor men, and therefore can do nothing else but bomb at the box office especially when the novelty has worn off.

We were surprised to have this kind of situation depicted in a realistic way.
Regarding the thing of D&D... As long as I remember, at least in american pen and paper role playing games, women have no physical drawbacks. True, it can seem like every character is male with just a female "skin ". So if a male with several levels in the fighter class can knock out a giant orc, by the rules, so can a woman with equal levels. Let's assume that in D&D, humans are magically stronger and more resilient than the mundane counterpart, or when they take fighter levels (or levels in any player class, they get that "magical" strength/resilience)
I think this equality in Pen and Paper is due to 2 things:
First, possibly economic, you don't want potential female customers to not buy because of an asymetric ruling.
Second and possibly the most important: you don't want to be called out as misog**** by the woke or feminist mob.
