So many people posting stupid videos on UA-cam. This isn’t one of them. Thank you for posting this. I came across this video and bought one. Has absolutely saved my back from shoveling. To the people commenting on hitting a bump and jamming your arms, try walking instead of running. 🤔😂
Looks like fun until you hit that uneven seam in your cement and the handle jabs you in the stomach.
This literally happened to me like a week ago 😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Happens every time!🤣
That is why I do the same thing with a wooden board blade. Jumps the bump.
Every time
Why am I sitting here watching a guy shovel his driveway?
same wtf am i doing
You got 2 ft lol we only got 1 and a half ft which state you in?
@@landonbrady409 Look at past snow for Northeast.
Its so satisfying lol
Bc he’s putting you on the new way to do it!!!
Great video! I LOVE our New England winters, and have always prided myself in shoveling and snowblowing (20-year old Craftsman 9 hp) to perfection. But now I’m pushing 70, been an empty nester for many years, have very bad spine and hip issues (I’ve lost 4” of my height), and countless other medical issues that don’t permit me to downhill ski, hike, ascend stairs, or lift much anymore. I’m also a woman. Your video made me realize the snowcaster is exactly what I want for light snow accumulations on my bluestone patio (where I don’t want a metal edge) and double-wide 44’ long asphalt driveway, better than a shovel and when my big machine isn’t necessary.
buddy was so proud of his shovel he had someone make a video for him. gotta respect that
You realize this is a commercial right? No just some dude proud of a shovel?
That actually looks fun. I mean, if I ordered one, it would refuse to snow here for two or three years, lol!
That’s my luck too haha
Task failed successfully
good luck with that
I’d say that makes it a win.
😂😂😂 I feel ya buddy
An excellent demonstration of the Snowcaster showing the conditions it was meant for. I own one and am in Canada and on many occasions it is the perfect tool for the job. No one shovel or snowblower is the ideal tool for every snow fall. For an inch to maybe three inches of light snow it is great on a paved driveway when a snowblower is overkill. I would definitely buy this again.
would it be worthless on a gravel driveway
@@GravityDAD Once it freezes it works, but not really well. Definitely more for hard/smooth surfaces. @akaCamo, I couldn't agree more, no one tool will work in all situations, but this one works wonders for what it is meant for.
Agreed! I own a large and small snow shovel, an electric corded 16" shovel, and a two-stage gas snow blower. The right tool for the job makes for an easy job.
looks great for fine, powdery snow....try some heavy, wet snow here in MO.......
It hasn't snowed like this in awhile. We just got ice haha.
10 years ago I remember going to Walmart and seeing 7 foot tall mounds of snow. Been awhile
Well of course it won’t work because that’s not what it’s made for Michael
@@nickdavis5947 love this ngl 🤣🤣
This is barely any snow
I agree. The front would be a block of ice in 2 passes.
I have had one for 3 years now. Best investment I made (about $100) for small storms in PA. When the snow is higher I use a regular shovel to push and then use this one for clean up of the entire area. I have about 800 sq ft of sidewalks and then also clean up a side street so that they don't plow it up on my walks. This mini plow can be a bit clunky at times. The blade itself is super strong. It wears on the bottom edge but not too fast and if you plow in both directions it ends up wearing evenly. I am considering building a wood or metal frame for the back to replace the plastic one it comes with. I could push a lot more of the wet heavy stuff like from early Feb if I felt more confident I wasn't going to snap the frame. It does best on level surfaces and I have cleared 1-2" over stone alley way kinda of skimming it along. It's not to heavy soit doesn't push down and bite into the loose surface. I cannot easily plow my old and buckled front sidewalk with it. If I added a rope attached to the two front edges it might be easier to lift the blade and reposition.
This is the best video I have seen that shows how it is intended for use. I plan on buying one for 2” or less and anything more than that I will use the snow blower

I don't understand the comments about trying to use it with heavy thick snow. This shovel is awesome and I can 100% see the need for one. This has a use and it's for lighter snow. Awesome video.
That's a great shovel, but he also has a perfect driveway
Got mine for Christmas and used it this morning for the first time; I love this shovel
Lets see a video of him using this shovel on wet snow

When you get known for being quality the customers will find you. Pay yourself a fair wage and pay your tools as if they are employees. One good day of mowing is near the same as the average homeowner in a year. Dont wait, just start. Build a base and everything will start to fall into place. Good luck to you.

Legends has it that he was so impressed by the shovel that he shovelled all the driveways in his neighbourhood, all the of the town, all of the state and has never stopped to this day.
Can tell its fake because he isnt wearing a jacket and there are no footprints in the snow. How did the camera get in front of the house?
Up at 1:30am watching snow shoveling videos. If I had one of those earlier, I wouldn't be still catching my breath 12hrs later.
Brilliant! Prolly cant use it for heavy wet snow but light fluffy snow.....you have something here!
Bought this for my small back deck in the Eastern Sierra. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN We get A LOT of HEAVY snow so I was a bit skeptical but it was worth it! After the first storm of the year this has exceeded expectations! It throws snow very well, even 10-12” + that said the more it piles up the harder it is to maneuver the machine. It is exceptionally light weight and overall exactly what I was looking for. If you have a large amount of snow and a lot of area to clear, you may consider something with a drive engine to help maneuverability, but for decks, second stories, roofs etc, you can’t beat the light weight to great snow throwing ratio. Side note, the chute rotator is a bit flimsy and it initially didn’t seem to work, after a few uses it seems to have loosened up.
Logan Utah here. I have a 42" man plow similar to what you got. I love it. I hate getting ice on the driveway so I try to keep it cleared off as quick as I can. If I run the blower I will still use the man plow after to get the leftovers cleared. Yes I have OCD about things around the house. lol
Great! I don't have anything that will work for a big snowstorm except to call the guys with serious snowblowers, but for everything else, this looks perfect.
Bought 3 from him last year. Love these shovels. Made a great gift

My father is in his 70s and is still the first one up to clean up the snow for the mail man. I think he would love that there is no gas, batteries, nor cords to mess with. It's always ready for work, like he is. Going to have to get him one.
I noticed you made a path down the middle of the driveway. Only had to shovel half the drive so you didn't pack the snow shovel. 75 homes, so time does matter. Yesterday it snowed all day! It was warm enough that it didn't even stick to the ground! I love it when God takes care of you!
Love this shovel. Wouldn’t live in northern Canada without one.
Hey, do you think it is safer to use the Snowcaster than a regular shovel? You know how people get heart attacks from shovelling? I wonder if this is safer to use?
@@SuperFrise If someone is at such a high risk of heart attack that using this or a regular shovel is the difference between living and dying, they have a far greater problem to worry about than clearing snow.
There is nothing about shovelling snow that makes it inherently more likely to cause heart attacks than any other equivalently strenuous physical activity. The problem is that for some people it is by far the most strenuous activity they ever do; they only do it because it is required.
love watching someone master their tool.

I live in Alberta, Canada in the city with a paved driveway. The first snowfall of the season is sometimes wet and heavy, but normally we get light fluffy snowfalls that are less than 6" deep. I think that this would be useful for most of the winter and would be great for clearing the driveway and sidewalk. Not too heavy or expensive, easy to store, doesn't use gas and is easy on the back. Nice!
Great demonstration! I have owned for years and love it!
Excellent! As a Cache local, the legit demo is really appreciated. Getting one of these for sure.

Great video! I did my whole circle driveway last week running! LOL It took just a couple of minutes. Probably 90 foot single lane driveway.
That's awesome. I like to hear these experiences. I am thinking of buying this because it is so hard to shovel snow for me
Haha nice. I have a few of these and I agree that they can clear a residential driveway to the bone faster then equipment.
Not sure why I watch the whole thing. But I did...(quarantine things) I guess. Also, not sure how this ended up in my feed, but now I realize I need more videos like this. Also, I usually don’t comment this long but here we are. Anyways, have a beautiful day and stay safe.
LOL. I watched part of it too. And I'm in Austin TX. We don't even get that white stuff down here! It was 80 degrees today, and it's almost December 2020.
Shaun Tarry, you must have really been bored to withstand watching a video that is a whole two and a half minutes long.
Flawless technique by this guy
The snow and floor looks like a paid actors. It wouldn’t go that sweet in real life. lol 😂
Best shortest and to the point video my man!!!
That's awesome! I got a big driveway. Definitely going to buy this. Thanks for the video review.
The control on this dude’s hand is amazing
For the amount of snow that was on the ground, it gets the job done. You should make another video with the same shovel with 3ft of snow.
why stop at 3ft try it in 7ft 😂
obv not made for that
Never saw one in Alberta. Wish they had these for sale here. The wheels make a huge difference. Yes, one-size-fits-all is not a solution. So have right tool for the right job. This Snow Caster is one of many tools in a good toolbox of snow removal strategy.
thanks for the real world demo!
Thnx for taking time out to make this video. Here in NYC we had a foot of snow and I got to clean 4 buildings with long sidewalks. Going to try it
With this shovel more than 4 inches gets heavy to push. So getting out a few times works great. But it is much faster than a blower even getting out a few times.
aAnyone have their CC turned on? If not, watch it again with captions on... Apparently, this shovel applauds for you while you shovel! Gotta love a product that motivates you with positive feedback as you labor in your driveway.
I’m dead 😂
Thanks for the tip. That made me smile.
I love shovellin that white fluffy snow, where I live the snow is often wet and heavy,,, makes for a lot of heavy pushin, and throwin.
I like that!! We have shovels and a snowblower, but this looks fun -- and it's what I end up doing with a shovel anyway. Brilliant!! 👍👏🙂
I love the evenly layered snow on the ground.
As an owner of these I approve this video. I love it, although when a lot piles up it’s not as affective as a snowblower
What about wet snow? Looks like it would free to it.
Stop criticizing this man he is trying to be informative. Thanks for your great video.
It's cool man, no biggie people who hate on things are just unhappy with their own life. So they try and make others miserable. I'm not offended, but thanks for watching and being a good one!
Yes, that is a great design. Love the wheels and the long handle.
This is the technique I do but with a reg shovel. Just dealt with probably 12 inches over the last week. Im definitely getting this type of shovel
Great technique! I have one does great when cold snow, however wet heavy snow no so good
What?
What? Why would this be so much better? Basically, same difference. Have to push the shovel, regardless? Sooner than later, one of the castor wheels is either going to fly off or bend, the manner he tosses the thing around. To me, only looks good for powdery snow? Wouldn't envision any drastic benefit once dealing with it heavy, and wet?
Chunky out there violently flinging and slamming that contraption and marching back and forth 😂😂😂
Out of breath after 3 minutes, 1.5 inches. Why bother?
Why is this so satisfying
My mother is now telling me with strong urgency that I must shovel the snow on Monday because I am big and strong. I've worked for decades on her perception of me being big and strong and developed educational curricula for her about the way muscles affect the way other people in the society treat them. I've worked for decades to educate her about sanitation and hygiene in the home, too.
hey my friend I liked that I live in Wisconsin how can I get it
Watching and enjoying. Best wishes for you.

I’ll bet he celebrated clearing the driveway with a nice cool IPA.
International phonetic alphabet?
You watched that video too, huh?
Does really well with one to two inches of dry snow. I wonder how it would do with 5 inches of snow, then an inch of ice on top, then another two inches of snow on top of that. That is what I dealt with recently. All I had was a regular snow shovel. I have a drive through garage. Concrete in the front, concrete in the back, and then the concrete loops around from the back to the front. Around 2700 square feet for driveway. It was back breaking because that snow was heavy. It doesn't look like it would work well on deep snow, but I assume if you were using it as it was snowing and not letting the snow get too deep, it would be good to have. I may look into getting one. Thanks for the video.

Until you get several feet of it and you have to lift the shovel to put it on the pile of snow from the last dumping. lol
@@maureenwagg5305 SEVERAL feet? What planet do you live on?
I have a similar process but to be even more efficient on a lighter snowfall, I push the snow towards the edge of the driveway rather than walk it. After that, I walk along the edges and scoop and throw the snow away from the driveway instead of piling it along the edge as much.
Why am I getting snow shoveling recommend? Why am I watching the whole video? lol
