When that trooper said to Wolffe, "But sir, they're traitors!" I wish Wolffe had said "Maybe they are....or...maybe we are..." Also Wolffe and Rex have history. He will show up again in a different show.
Fun fact: In the german version of this episode there is an awesome detail: When Wollfe talks to the recruited TK-troopers, he uses the formal "you" and talking to the other clone troopers, he uses the informal "you". Not talking to the TKs in informal language shows the difference in the relationship between clones and TKs, even though they have the same rank... Often, details get lost in translation, but I love the instances when details get added, because a language has a feature that the original one didn't have. Someone put thought into the translation and the meaning behind each word, when a simple word to word translation would treat two sentences just the same when they are gramatically the same but not their meaning...
That is such an awesome detail!! Love that even the people who get to translate this understand it so well and can make sure every owe of the details can be transferred. This is honestly so cool with how the English version doesn't really do this so in a way we're missing out 😂 Hope there's more of this sort of thing cause I think it's easy to forget that other countries will watch this and of course, it'll be in another language but it allows for stuff to be added that simply can't in English.
Wolfie appeared in many episodes of The Clone Wars; it was just harder to recognize him because the gray color is very similar to white. As for what he’s doing here: Clones are slowly being replaced, but as we saw with Scorch, the experience of clones is very valuable for training the new generation of Imperial soldiers. What Wolfie is doing is serving with his Wolf Pack and by showing his tactics he train future Stormtroopers. And honestly? Wolfie is one of those clones who have strong back. Remember the Imperials meeting in the finale of Season 2? There was an admiral who defended/sympathized with the clones. Well, it’s very likely that Wolfie works for him. As for CX. For someone like that, it’s too late for redemption. As I said, this is no longer a clone; it’s a droid in a clone's body. IT/he cannot make independent decisions. If someone orders him to shoot himself, he will do it. You saw that one of these clones didn’t even hesitate to commit suicide. And maybe we should think about the identity of CX. Could it be someone we know? Well, of all the characters, only one disappeared mysteriously and, coincidentally, also used a vibroblade. Meybe you can guess who I mean. Additionally, it's worth noting that when Crosshair used thermal vision, CX's limbs show minimal heat. I am not a thermal vision specialist but this could be another reference to Nemesis but this time to the effects of his painful defeat in the duel with Barriss. After that duel, Nemesis practically had no limbs. Everything was replaced cybernetically. In the case of CX, it also makes sense because cybernetic parts cause he to tire more slowly and be less susceptible to injuries in battle and pain. And CX’s behavior confirms this. His arm was literally crushed, and instead of screaming in agony, he was merely annoyed. He was angry that this affects his effectiveness. In my opinion, there was no amputation, but just some kind of strengthening of the limbs but these are my speculations. And I see you have the same conclusion I had when I watched these episodes: The only option to stop the Empire is Omega’s death. I will add that my conclusion was even further, because the Empire should not have access to her corpse.
I wish Wolffe got a more pivotal role in Clone Wars, I feel like there are so many Clones that got more to do and became more memorable because of it wish is just a shame cause Wolffe is so cool. Love that he's still with his Wolf Pack so I can assume none of them ratted him out he's safe. With the CX Trooper, that redemption stuff was just wishful thinking 😂just finding him very cool and I wanted him to use his skills to fight for good. haven't really thought about who it could have been, thought that person was erased or is there a chance of getting them back? I thought something similar about the whole limb thing, the guy got crushed by rocks and I'm pretty sure he was limbing at some point but expressed no pain, dude has got to have some cybernetics going on there to keep himself going. That's actually a really good point about the Corpse 😂😂 I'm still trying to think about how she can possibly 'win' this but as long as Palpatine lives he's gonna want this project to move forward.
When CX-2, the clone assassin, almost drowned Crosshair-I practically screamed. 😅 I was so scared they were going to actually kill him off in this episode! 🥵😮💨
When CX-2 was attempting to drown Crosshair, I was screaming "DON'T YOU DARE KILL CROSSHAIR" internally. I couldn't lose another one. 😭😭 I have faith Wolffe will defect at some point.
I'm not ready for another of the Batch to die especially Crosshair who's only just been redeemed and this was WAY too close!! I hope Wolffe defects soon, he just seems like the perfect soldier the Empire would want so I'd assume he'd stick with them for a while longer.
About Clones not being experimented on: Since a lot of clones start deserting, these are the ones who would be brought to tantis first. The ones that are still loyal and doing good work, would still be useful to the empire. Wether a clone decides to desert or not depends on the missions they are send on. If you just happen to be a clone on reqular missions of the kind that are not as morally questionable as other stuff that the empire does in secret, you would have no reason to desert. And your brothers would think the same, so they wouldn't inspire you to turn. Once a group of clones is sent on a mission that they don't agree with, one could assume that most of them would turn against the empire at once, since most clones are good people. I assume that wollfe never had such a mission before that made him question his loyalty and this is why he is still with te empire.
This makes a lot of sense, I was thinking that the Empire would basically be forcing most of the Clones into retirement at this point and that 'retirement' was Tantiss but it's honestly kind of nice that they still see them as useful.

About Wolffe keeping his armor: I think that the clones in higher positions could probably get away with more stuff because of their reputation. Since Wolffe never had a colorful armor, but just gray and white, this matched the empire's aesthetic and was therefore less problematic (with Cody, we saw that he kept his armor details, but turned everything that was orange into gray aswell).
Commander wolffe served under Jedi master Plo Koon in the clone wars and was the Commander of the 104th Battalion the Wolfpack. He lost his eye sight to asajj ventress. I think his armor looks the most badass. He is still my favorite
When I saw his face I immediately recognised him, don't know why I can't recognise the armour 😂 But his is definitely the coolest and I'm so shocked the Empire let him keep it that way.
A fun detail is that behind Wolffe there isn't a single stormtrooper. They're all clones. All the stormtroopers were with the second team who were all killed, hence why none of them questioned Wolffe, apart from Hilo (the commando) and even he ultimately agrees.
Thank goodness!! Was so scared one of them would rat him out and he'd end up on Tantiss but this makes things so much better, just hope Rex's speech gets to him and he can get out of the Empire.
I believe all of the TK troopers present were killed during the skirmish against the first shuttle because all of the troopers we saw with Wolffe at the end were clones. Not to say they won’t report him but, I think it’s worth noting.
Okay this puts me at ease quite a bit, glad all the soldiers present were Clones so things should look okay-ish for Wolffe, just don't want him to end up on Tantiss 😬
Wolffe still being with the Empire after all this time is a result of what happens when the rare Commander hasn't been put on a different assignment since the transition. From Wolffe's perspective, the job never got affected despite the boss having a different title.
So I guess up until this point Wolffe just didn't see much of a change for him to question the Empire so he stayed and the Empire just let him be to make sure he stayed loyal.
Despite not much of a speaking role, Wolffe would always be around somewhere when Plo Koon was present, thus was the Clone that had to arrest Ahsoka on the run.
I feel so bad for not recognising him 😔 I just wish he got a more pivotal role in Clone Wars as it feels like there were so many other clones that got more to do than him.

Same! After Tech it genuinely feels like anyone could die at this point and that whole waterfall scene is the closest it's come so far.

Honestly, it started to feel a little like Umbara again with the Clones fighting other Clones but so happy this had a better ending 😂

Lucasfilm animation, with this episode as an example, greatly outclasses a great deal of Lucasfilm live action.
