Thank you! I couldn't figure out why my Lewmar anchor would no longer work. I knew I had done something wrong just couldn't figure out what. Video was very helpful!! Pushed it back in, we're back in business.

Might want to consider buying a second tool, or finding an onboard item (screwdriver) that can do the same thing. If you lost your tool overboard you are SOL.
Nice tip. No snubber on the chain to take the strain off the windlass ?
I wrapped it around the cleat. What's a snubber? I will look it up.

Can you show how to manually let the anchor fall under gravity ( like "freefall mode" but with no power ) ? And how to manually stop it from falling under gravity. Thanks.

Can you explain how you stop the free fall option if you don't want to let go the whole chain and rope, and how to wind up the rope manually ? Thanks.
I was told to use the little tool that it came with to push the plunger in. I also have to turn the wheel by hand sometimes for it to lock into place. Then I can use the foot petals or the rocker switch on my helm. Does that answer your questions?
How has it held up?
It held up fine but I sold it to the gal who rescued my IP27 from the crusher after it was totalled by the insurance company after Hurricane Sally 2020.
