I would recommend if you use place holder to pay for something (which the money already in the bank) to return the rest of the amount after subtracting the balance you need in place holder .. Leave the cash in the envelop unless you over spend !! That will make your transfers more specific less likely to be confused (hope it’s helping) ..
I think, next time you sholud split this. 1000 for 2×500 , and for left over money in cash minus 207- this is your real money you took for this category. You get the same result, but without extra counting 😊 great video ❤❤
