I was just applying for the best highschools in the state and it felt like my life was fleeting and that I didn't know what I was doing. I'm gonna be honest I cried during this. I just felt so amazed and so idk how to describe it man. I'm still in the age of "figuring things out", you know? I got a scholarship to my number 1 college, but it didn't feel as good as I thought it would. My future is right in front of me. ADULTHOOD is right in front of me and wow.
You made me see everything in a different light.

This was really deep. You should never “give up” in life. There will probably be something that you’ll miss out on later in life. My great-grandma wanted to give up, but she didn’t. And guess what? She got to live long enough to see my birth. That’s only one example why you shouldn’t give up in life.

I feel bad saying I'm happy he quit VidCon because of how he described it- but honestly pursuing his interest in storytelling, filming ect. by making a YT channel has definitely changed more than just his life! Me and a friend of mine have always looked up to storytime UA-camrs because of how open they seemed and TimTom is no exception, he definitely played a part in helping us out during life!! And its funny because I always viewed that with the perspective of preparing for the worst. Assuming nothing, and trusting no one. Not knowing what tomorrow will bring brought me terror, but it can also bring hope.

I struggle with giving up every day, but so far I haven't so that's good.
This is a really fun example of you making a video and then naming it "becoming a youtube" ( I search for a LOT of how to gain views and how to grow your channel etc) So youtube must have figured out it was a good match for me. And I would never have found your channel if it wasn't because of this video.

Keep doing great Tom. I’ll admit the first time I came across on of your videos I thought,” oh look another copy of the Odd1sout.” And yes a lot of artists/storytellers/etc now use a similar style and it wasn’t right of me to judge. Your right it isn’t about the art; it’s about the story and lesson that comes from it. Everyone can learn and grow and sure if someone is looking for some big fancy artist that has mind blowing skills sure maybe this isn’t for them, but it sure is for the rest of us. On UA-cam today it seems like there is less heart and more excitement so it’s refreshing to still have some who don’t just jump on the bandwagon and go after something better.

I think there's a reason that I saw this video in my recomened, and I'm not sure why this means so much more to me than advice from Markiplier of MatPat or any other "big" UA-camr, but this really encourages me to work hard and not give up on my dream. Now if only I weren't grounded...

good one man. seriously, kinda makes me think about my own situation and it's all true. I'm going to be 30 years old, single father with 2 kids I see on weekends and still am not sure what I'm doing aside from making things work every day or every week. Things can change in an instant for better or for worse and I can only hope for the brighter side of things for myself and everyone around me. Keep up the good work.

Woah. It's harder than it seems to actually realise that "big" youtubers start out with 0 subs, a lot of self doubt and anxiety. I've looked up to you for a long time, and I just this summer started my own animation storytime channel. It's a bummer when you work for hours and only get like 3 views or so every second day, but this video helped me feel more optimistic about it. You're awesome. Keep doing you.
