  • A very simple way of scaling. filleting and deboning any fish. In this case, I used fresh Yellowfin Whiting. Part 2 will show you how to make one of the simplest yet most effective beer batters!
Huge shout out to Brendan, James, Meresa, Evey, Yang, Derrick & Chris.

Never saw a fish scaled like that. Awesome!

Haha, I've never seen a fish scaled like that. Hilarious!
If you want a great scaler when you don't have the hose handy, get 3 beer lids and nail them in line, to a bit of broom handle and you'll have a fantastic scaler.

2:35 Beautiful scaling stinking Lawn. I would get an empty onion net bag and clean the fish inside to catch the scales or mount it upright at the end of table let water through not scale.

Love the scaling technique. Gotta give it a try. Recommend a sharper knife though. On bigger fish make sure you get up towards the head more. Good meat up there.

What's the correct procedure for dispatching these little guys?

If you've run out of ideas for videos then a series of how to correctly dispatch each species would be amazing.

i'm from the UK and really enjoy carp fishing. I've watched you carp fishing videos and wonder if our European tactics would work better. I was wondering if you had a p.o. box or somewhere I could post the rigs and fake plastic corn bait we use and maybe you could do a video comparing the way you normally fish to our rigs, bait and tactics.
