I was on UE today and had a stack order for 6mi, $20. It was close to end of my shift, so I said why not because the 2nd drop was in the wealthiest neighborhood in the state. First stop was an apartment and the dreadful ‘meet at door’ instruction. Great. I was about to get on the elevator and got the delayed ‘leave it by the mailbox by the main entrance’ message. Still delivered with a smile and head to the next drop. Left the confirmation pic with my custom message. Total trip was 6mi, 25 minutes with $6 delivery fee. An hour later, I got a message saying I got a combined tip of $29, making the total $35, not $20. Yeah today was a good day to end the week.
I took a 5 mile $11 pizza order I get there he gives me $10 cash I say thanks and he raises uber tip to 13.50 as well. So I made $23.50 for those 5 miles.

Sometimes it’s a match and sometimes it’s not. I just know if it’s too good to be true because it’s paying really high for very low miles in most cases I end up having to call Support to cancel the order because it already gotten picked up and it’s just been hanging there with no completion, I would say that is 90% of the time but once in a while I look out and I will get like a 25 or $30 order to go maybe a few miles

If they say yes the order is good and then you show up and its ''already been picked up'' Then say to the manager thats why I called so I didint waste my gas n time!!! Most likely the manager will say ok,, tell u what I we will remake it for you, so now your 30 dollar run for 2 milk shakes or what so ever u can make bank on!!!! Trust me Ive done this!!!! If the meal is cheap enough the the order pays 30 dollars for 2 milk shakes or a burrito and chips from taco bell, you could barter with them and pay for it out of ur pocket if the difference can still pay u bank????
It’s funny that the DoorDash offer was $6.50 the first time you declined it then they resent it to you and lowered the offer 25 cents. 😂😂😂. I have never seen a offer drop pay the second time when you are sitting still. I have seen it when I drive closer to the merchant.
Same! Sometimes they will raise the pay, I seen a shop n pay that paid 17 dollars for an just under an hours worth of work at a hyvee, it came back to me later for 37 or 38 dollars just 30 minutes before the store closed and I declined it again because of the fact they were closing!

Doing it that way multi Apping that many apps, , you would really really benifit from having someone else drive and you sit in the passenger seat and dispatch to yourself.
You really don’t do Uber very much. Do you? You can still mark the order delivered. Click I have the pin. Then click can’t confirm pin number. Then just click delivered. I do it all the time.
Nope, mainly DD and other apps. UE is just so dead for me here. I actually saw a subscriber during this shift he said he was doing UE too and never saw surge either. For me UE kinda dropped down with GH in the % of offers that are worth it.

Not really, he's smart because 5 dollars means nothing to me in the year 2024. I pull over 1k a week and I do take some 5 dollar runs and 6 dollar runs but again if i see a ton of them where I know i can get 20-35 dollar runs ofcourse I will decline that low paying crap!!!
I don’t understand why Uber can’t put a spoken voice prompt when you arrive at the drop-off that a PIN is involved. What happened to you happened to me a few days ago because I don’t do UberEats very much either.
Something, maybe a larger prompt or something. It's my fault I get it, I rarely do UE let alone PIN deliveries. Very glad they have that workaround though

I'm just starting out and your videos have been super helpful for me! It's interesting to see how different markets are with different apps. In my market, UE is the way to go and I think it's because we have a lot of people from other countries, and UE is in whatever country they're coming from (i'm in a busy tourist area). Doordash is filled with nontippers here and i decline about 95% of the orders so I don't even bother. Also, my very first delivery ever I didn't put the pin xDDDDDDDD easy fix, but I was sweating.
How do you find the commuting miles? It's not that bad with that many Walmarts I assume? I really like Spark I just can't make sense of driving back to the 1-2 we have close to each other (Bethel Park/West Mifflin - maybe North Versailles) as it pretty much doubles the miles.
All depends on where I am in my area when I turn it back on. I have a few different merchants that seem to have larger tips. I try to stay active in those two areas.

I turn my other app or apps on when im about 3 mins to my drop off I usually use door dash, uber eats, and spark. Then i take what i can if its slow ill bite my tongue and take a smaller one to get the orders still coming in. If i decline decline decline it seems to not come in then.
There’s no rhyme or reason in the so called algorithm, and we’re too human to understand it. If you let DD send you a wobbler and you take it, then you’ve just set a precedent for wobbler orders in the future with the algorithm if it even exists.
I decline all the time unless I am doing a night shift from 11pm to 6am, But one time I declined 60-70 offers one night because I was lookin for that 67 dollar banger and I seen a msg from DD that I have never seen before, it kept putting me on a 10 minute pause stating '' it seems you are not taking offers therefore we put u on a pause so other drivers can see the offers'' Seriously I was like WOW,,, so i had to state I was still here for the rest of the night and it was like hitting 2 buttons on every single order , eventually I accepted a 20 dollar alcohol order and used uber eats to shoot me back home and just ended the dash
@@waverider5751 i accept all, IDGAF i have had 2 sometimes 3 crap no tip $2 - 3.5 dashes and then have 5 double digit $15+ offers in a row it seems to balance out, once i had a really bad night 85% no tip, short distance, low pay runs, next dash i had nothing lower than $10.5+ the whole night!! every week my avg income is about the same, sometimes more for my set schedule

I have gone back to the customer to get the pin number and had no issue before. Yes I’m seeing a lot more of that with Uber Eats especially. Also having to scan the QR code on the receipt prior to saying I picked up the order before it will let me deliver.
Most of the time the customer doesn’t even know about the PIN issue because in most cases they get that pin number in their app because previously they told Uber Eats or insert whatever delivery service that they never received, so if they had a past issue, Uber Eats is trying to cover their back and back to confirm they received their order
I forgot to get the PIN on Uber one time. I had no problem going right back to their door and getting their PIN, faster than contacting support.. But if they don't answer I didn't know you could bypass through the app, good info to know. But lately ive been getting a lot of PIN customers who have no idea they need to give me their PIN number or what it is. I say I need a PIN before I can hand off your food, I get a blank stare, and just tell them its the last 4 digits of the phone number on the account.
I dont pause the other apps when im on a pickup/ delivery. Sometimes you get lucky and get two orders from different apps at the same location. Or on the way to your delivery you can get another order that's going the same way.
Yeah, one time I crossed the border from Minnesota into Wisconsion and was at a taco bell, I seen a DD order come through that I grabbed for 7 dollars going 2 miles if that and then I seen a UE order come at me while I was in taco bell for 7 dollars going the same distance, but I didnt take that UE order because I snatched the DD, little did I know they were going to the same bldg... So after dropping off that DD order and heading back to taco bell that UE same exact order came back at me for 14 dollars so I took it and brought it back to the same bldg! I thought to myself DAM, there must not be many drivers around this area!
The only way that crap order would be ok with me, is that I picked up a catering order before that knocking it out in 30-45 minutes and then taking that order u had to stack that 4-8 dollars ontop of my 44 dollars that I made earlier. Turning my 1hr into 52 dollars etc...
I've had one where somebody forgot their pin. It was a husband who received the order in the wife had to come out and present the pin because he didn't know it. Customer service still goes a long way though. Also, how long do you normally stay out for orders? I try to do a 4 hour block.

@@YourDriverMike I don’t know factually, but we’ve seen it happen live with my driver friend groups of about 4-5 people. One of us would get the radar, one of us would get the offer at the same time. The person who got it as an offer has the upper hand naturally. We’ve never witnessed multiple getting the radar at the same time. Not saying it’s impossible, just haven’t witnessed it. Technically though, the offer is being offered to a handful of drivers at once, just not in the same fashion so their blurb is still accurate
Its pretty discouraging when your platinum and you get 3 orders in a row that are under 5 bucks and double miles . I have been able to make from 18 to 20 per hour on DD . I dont do multiple apps
Chipotle via DoorDash is on my shitlist, 1 out of 6 orders in the past week I was able to actually pick up, other 5 were "some else picked it up" or they never got the order. Also Sonic, Im not delivering 18 drinks
That should've been a catering offer bro. Next time you need to tell whoever your driving for that the order you are getting is a catering order. You get more $ for that
Yeah I agree that kind of volume should be a catering offer. For one they may send that to couriers that maybe have 2-3 pizza bags but DD just verifies you have one, don't think they even know who has more than 1. But anyway yeah that pay should be way higher. 44 pizzas that's how many trips back and forth? Even if staff/customers help you carry it in that's clearly a catering sized offer and you should make more on that.
I've seen a leave at door that also wanted a pin. Luckily they have answered the door or are standing outside. But If they are getting pinned, they shouldn't even have leave at door as an option.
So the customer cant say, they never received there food, the pin is to lock in the transaction because only the customer has the pin! If I am dealing with a ghetto customer then I dont hand the food over till I get the pin, if its a middle class worker I am not worried and will hand them the food and ''then'' ask for the pin... There are many scams of customers lying later after u leave stating they never got there food or items etc...
6:50 click that "enter delivery pin" button. then click "pin does not work" or sumthin like that, then click "I need help" then click order has been delivered. I never get a pin# its not my problem if they steal from Uber I dont want any contact with these losers
The biggest info that soooo many drivers dont know is that uber eats have surges! I talk to drivers all the time and they r heck surprise that i do orders that have $5, $10, $15 surge and no tip but for just 2 or 3 miles. They r great bc of surge. I think for uber eats drivers to get surges they have to have uber x enabled. Lots of old asian drivera driving 90s cars cant have x enabled. Thats how uber foks them
Sadly the majority of gig apps play too many games Their main goal find a sucker and get orders our little as possible Secondly they add programs and incentives to manipulate drivers. Third they just rehire drivers they don't care about work history or wether or not they speak English or not. This bring backs the main goal productivity instead if quality of service
accept all get your 100 as fast as you can, then and only then can you even think about declining IMO, i rarely decline except for when i see that the drive thru has 15+ cars in front of me, due the misunderstanding of the merchants employees that dont make the orders till the drivers show up and cause major backups, but this is what you learn about your particular market while doing your 100, some merchants mgrs are idiots, use the "whats taking so long improvement page" to explain in comment section with enough detail to get DD to contact the merchant, believe me it works
To start the video you declined a $6.50 for 2.6 miles, that is a great offer, it's over $2/mile. You don't even use the parameters you teach, you say anything over $2/mile is worth taking, but decline them often!

You can easily skip Pin entry without contacting support with - as is often the case with UE - apparently zero repercussions.
I only use Walmart Spark, my zone has 4 Walmarts. It keeps me booked and busy
They pay us $6 for 3 stops and mystery miles. Awful Walmart offers.

In my area I cant afford to be picky because we swiched over to the new tier system and I cant really get any dashes if I falls under 70 %

I forgot to get the PIN on Uber one time. I had no problem going right back to their door and getting their PIN, faster than contacting support.. But if they don't answer I didn't know you could bypass through the app, good info to know. But lately ive been getting a lot of PIN customers who have no idea they need to give me their PIN number or what it is. I say I need a PIN before I can hand off your food, I get a blank stare, and just tell them its the last 4 digits of the phone number on the account.
I dont pause the other apps when im on a pickup/ delivery. Sometimes you get lucky and get two orders from different apps at the same location. Or on the way to your delivery you can get another order that's going the same way.
Yeah, one time I crossed the border from Minnesota into Wisconsion and was at a taco bell, I seen a DD order come through that I grabbed for 7 dollars going 2 miles if that and then I seen a UE order come at me while I was in taco bell for 7 dollars going the same distance, but I didnt take that UE order because I snatched the DD, little did I know they were going to the same bldg... So after dropping off that DD order and heading back to taco bell that UE same exact order came back at me for 14 dollars so I took it and brought it back to the same bldg! I thought to myself DAM, there must not be many drivers around this area!
Got a $9 uber order request to take a part to a local car dealership in Portland area-34 miles!!
$10 for 2 offers and ten miles. 30 min and 5 miles for $8. Just not good offers. Barely okay offers, and not very many either.
Hopefully you see some better offers. Which market? What times do you typically drive?
@YourDriverMike CA. I can leave it on all day and get just a few offers. Just saturated and they keep hiring. Same Ole thing.
The only way that crap order would be ok with me, is that I picked up a catering order before that knocking it out in 30-45 minutes and then taking that order u had to stack that 4-8 dollars ontop of my 44 dollars that I made earlier. Turning my 1hr into 52 dollars etc...
I've had one where somebody forgot their pin. It was a husband who received the order in the wife had to come out and present the pin because he didn't know it. Customer service still goes a long way though.
Also, how long do you normally stay out for orders? I try to do a 4 hour block.

Trip radar goes to you and one other driver. For you it’s a radar, for them it’s a regular offer. If they turn it down, you “match”
Uber says, "With Trip Radar, some requests are shared with a handful of drivers at the same time." How many times is it one other driver vs a handful of other drivers? I feel like it's always been several other drivers?

@@YourDriverMike I don’t know factually, but we’ve seen it happen live with my driver friend groups of about 4-5 people. One of us would get the radar, one of us would get the offer at the same time. The person who got it as an offer has the upper hand naturally. We’ve never witnessed multiple getting the radar at the same time. Not saying it’s impossible, just haven’t witnessed it. Technically though, the offer is being offered to a handful of drivers at once, just not in the same fashion so their blurb is still accurate
Its pretty discouraging when your platinum and you get 3 orders in a row that are under 5 bucks and double miles . I have been able to make from 18 to 20 per hour on DD . I dont do multiple apps
I did that today, and the customer sent the PIN.😁
Chipotle via DoorDash is on my shitlist, 1 out of 6 orders in the past week I was able to actually pick up, other 5 were "some else picked it up" or they never got the order. Also Sonic, Im not delivering 18 drinks

That should've been a catering offer bro. Next time you need to tell whoever your driving for that the order you are getting is a catering order. You get more $ for that
Yeah I agree that kind of volume should be a catering offer. For one they may send that to couriers that maybe have 2-3 pizza bags but DD just verifies you have one, don't think they even know who has more than 1. But anyway yeah that pay should be way higher. 44 pizzas that's how many trips back and forth? Even if staff/customers help you carry it in that's clearly a catering sized offer and you should make more on that.

I've seen a leave at door that also wanted a pin. Luckily they have answered the door or are standing outside. But If they are getting pinned, they shouldn't even have leave at door as an option.
So the customer cant say, they never received there food, the pin is to lock in the transaction because only the customer has the pin! If I am dealing with a ghetto customer then I dont hand the food over till I get the pin, if its a middle class worker I am not worried and will hand them the food and ''then'' ask for the pin... There are many scams of customers lying later after u leave stating they never got there food or items etc...
6:50 click that "enter delivery pin" button. then click "pin does not work" or sumthin like that, then click "I need help" then click order has been delivered.

The biggest info that soooo many drivers dont know is that uber eats have surges! I talk to drivers all the time and they r heck surprise that i do orders that have $5, $10, $15 surge and no tip but for just 2 or 3 miles. They r great bc of surge. I think for uber eats drivers to get surges they have to have uber x enabled. Lots of old asian drivera driving 90s cars cant have x enabled. Thats how uber foks them

Their main goal find a sucker and get orders our little as possible
Secondly they add programs and incentives to manipulate drivers.
Third they just rehire drivers they don't care about work history or wether or not they speak English or not. This bring backs the main goal productivity instead if quality of service

accept all get your 100 as fast as you can, then and only then can you even think about declining IMO, i rarely decline except for when i see that the drive thru has 15+ cars in front of me, due the misunderstanding of the merchants employees that dont make the orders till the drivers show up and cause major backups, but this is what you learn about your particular market while doing your 100, some merchants mgrs are idiots, use the "whats taking so long improvement page" to explain in comment section with enough detail to get DD to contact the merchant, believe me it works

To start the video you declined a $6.50 for 2.6 miles, that is a great offer, it's over $2/mile. You don't even use the parameters you teach, you say anything over $2/mile is worth taking, but decline them often!

Not really, because that offer Im sure took 20 minutes, if u were to give him 6 dollar orders for 2 miles all day long he'd make 18 an hr!!! I will take some 6 dollar offers going 2 miles too, but I will get to a point like F this crap , I need 10 and up or 30 and up! I will take a 6 dollar offer 2 miles but eventually Id like to see them bang out at me a 10 dollar up going 3 miles and then to see an 8 dollar offer going 1 mile!!!!! Why??? Because I been doing this full time for 9 months and know they got the pocket book!!!! Ive had many many times of making 40-60 an hr on DD during those bangin times!
@@danguts2844every drivers location is different but where I am miles are not as important as the time. In a big city taking orders just on the miles can kill you IMO.
