Excellent set up, specially the bit drilled into the ball and using the drill for the ball rotation. I would suggest instead of releasing the shutter so many times, using the burst mode would have done a miracle... cheers
I think this is the first time I've actually seen someone use a mirror as a light reflector for photography. Seems like a great way to get a second hard light without buying a second strobe. I guess the effect is indistinguishable from what you'd get with another strobe placed at the position of the image in the mirror.
Not quite...! don't forget about the effects of the inverse square law. the reflected light has further to travel therefore will be dimmer, over short distances the difference will not effect the result.
If the second strobe as at the same places as the *mirror image* - not at the same place as the mirror then it's the same distance, isn't it? The mirror image is always as far behind the mirror as the real strobe is as far in front of it. Of course the mirror image position could easily be outside the studio in which putting a real strobe there might be difficult and would be useless unless you knocked a hole in the wall.
HSS actually gives a longer flash duration, freeze mode gives the shortest flash duration. The shutter speed is irrelevant, it is the flash duration that stops the action. Thanks for watching.
Technically, may be this pic be good picture not a good composition. Moreover, it would be better if there would be spin blur for a feel of spin motion.
Thank you "Professor".
You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
Just when i think i won't learn something new, beautiful work and the process is so thoughtful
Thanks so much 😊
Wonderfully explained . Thank u
You're most welcome
You are such a great Teacher...
Thanks for watching.

Excellent way of showing a difficult capture
Glad you liked it
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I learn a lot from you.
My pleasure!
amazing
Thanks
Nice Work! 😊 Wouldn't it have been better to combine the pictures in multiply mode? so you can make use of all droplets...
That's a good idea, there is no right and wrong way, thanks.
Hi. I was wondering if you have a group page where people can post shots they've tried based on your tutorials? thank you ☺
Not yet! working on it.
@@CameraClubLive Awesome! I've done the tennis ball shot (my way) based on your tutorial and would love to show you ;) 😊😊😊
thank master
Thank you for watching.
Wonderful sir.
Will u Do some insects or flower photography .
Yes, soon
Can this also be done with a regular flash or would it not be powerful enough?
Yes you could use a speed light/flash gun. You will need to turn the energy down on the flash to get a short duration, compensate with higher ISO.
Why you havent increased your shutter speed with HSS.. i know you will loose power output .. how is freeze mode different to HSS..

The video is ok. But very lengthy. Lot of preparation to make this. Not worthy
