Great review. I’ve used others with pumps, but honestly burying a poop slurry is gross. Bags are okay, but this seems like a very clean system. Only go off grid once a month or so, but might be worth while
Great demo, thanks! $2 per flush on top of the $900 cost of the unit is really pricey. I'd opt for biodegradable bags ($10 for 50 bags - amazon), and kitty litter sand, for 20 cents per flush. Basically, you could spend $40 or $4 for 20 flushes, $900 for Laveo or $75 for cassette toilet, place bag, go, scoop of litter, twist, remove, toss it in a small, air-tight bin, and dispose. Options are everything. ( ;
We found that a hard plastic female urinal was better and safer than the flexible ones. It doesn’t risk bending and leaking. The brand we found is called Freshette. Cheers
People aren’t getting it. This is a limited use toilet and you’re paying for the tremendous convenience and elimination of the gross factor. So weekend trips, special circumstances and limited use. If your full timing then you’ll probably go another route and just deal with the gross dirty job of dumping or cleaning out a composting toilet + the inconvenience. Yes it isn’t the most environmentally friendly system but most people that worry about stuff like this live in a 2500 sq ft house, drive a fossil fuel car, throw away a ton of trash/plastic every year so step off the high horse

Have you had any occasions of odors or leaks at any point? Do you use a liquid absorber such as Lasyl or kitty litter? Thanks for the review 👍🏻
Nearly everything is biodegradable it is expensive and it is worth it
The only thing Biodegradable is the poop

You are supposed to pull bags out from the cartridge and recycle the cartridge, says another video.
No thanks, ill stick to PF, rest areas, fast food toilettes, or the good ole woods and bury
Huge around of waste. Horrible
Its refill is too much expensive.
