Hot water.. one of the hardest songs in the world!
Rather have hot water than cold water....enjoy life
I have followed this tremendous band since the very beginning back in 1980 and they still sound just so fantastic to this day. Thank you Mark and Mike for continuing to keep the Level 42 name alive.
I agree with u they are one of the best bands of the 80s
This is best playing of a pop group. Up with toto
...And can we also give some love to the drummer!!
A level 42 fanatic, all time favourite band, been to many of their concerts over the decades but this is the best I've ever been too, like a vintage wine or whisky they've got better with age, roll on when life can be back to normal and they're back on tour again 👍🤞
Just saw them two day ago!! They were sublime👌👌👌👌👌👌
Growing up listening to these guys the older they get the better and sound is awesome 100% of excellence Mr King
This arrangement was awesome!1
Credit and much love to all the jazz, funk, R&B, blues, rock, progressive, punk, New Wave, alternative, metal,, grunge, country, folk musicians out there who are truly CREATIVE. The public is starved for music like this today! So tired of the one chord wonders flooding the airwaves!
Love level 42! Grew up in musicians family myself, saw them live back in 1984 with dad and his friends and my uncle.I was 12... Best I've ever heard! Love from the Netherlans!!😎💙💙💙
Drum fill at 1.22...bangin!
Yep that drummer is nuts. Who is that guy?
@@driggerfireon5760 He's Peter Ray Biggin. Outstanding drummer...it's one thing learning this but he has the confidence to throw in mind altering fills live on stage with no fear. Great performer.
He actually broke a stick but recovered flawlessly
Love them in the eighties better and better they are getting xx
Absolute legends, I never take for granted that this Band's excellent Musicianship requires passion, committment, loving what you do and they just keep getting better - no Substitute for experience. And... They are fantastic people. Rock on Level 42 - Love to see you in Perth WA in 2023? Would love to meet you all - Paul
Mark King with Bass Guitar.....! Beautiful!
Best horn section... well done ... Thanks
Great band, Great musicians: I hope for a Great gig in 2021 or 2022 in Italia.
Skoro 40 godina slušanja i teško da bilo koji bend može bolji utisak da ostavi. Apsolutno najbolji živi nastupi i energija koju šalju. Objašnjavanje suštine muzike u svakom smislu. Srećan sam neizmerno što postoje i dalje. 💪
Anything with Gary Husband on drums. When he is playing with Level 42, takes it to another level....
Sadly this is the overplaying Pete Ray Biggin.
@@mattgreen5720 Ah, someone else who thinks he over does it and at the wrong time.
OMG, so great to hear some SCORCHING HOT, talented musicians for a change. About to gag from being subjected to the usual B. Eilish, monochromatic one chord, whiney, whispering, can't sing so I'll rap and pretend. Now I remember why I loved music in the 80's and 90's!
lol i hear you
I hear you… But! There are new amazing artists doing brilliant fresh things right now - you can find them if you keep looking.
(Also, B. Eilish can sing in other styles and you might hear that too one day.)
Semplicemente fantastici.
Crank it up!!😮
3:42. . I love me some of that funky Tri Stereo Tremolo!
I like Level 42, it's the best group with the drummers like Gary Husband or even Phil Gould too.
"Hot Water" this one, it’s one of the best versions like this to Paris "live in La Mutualité" in 1984-85 i think recorded for the live album "Physical presence" and recorded in England too... Produced by the french's musician Wally Badarou.
I'm musician too, from "Tama Drum Artist"
SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!!
See you in 2021!
Love Mike Lindup's solo!!
Nossa vi alguns vídeos sem a formação do início ...?! .o tecladista e pianista vocal tá ainda?
Better than ever before!
Please come to Chicago, guys!!
No words!!
Love this song so much! An oldie but a goodie! Keep funkin’ guys xx

👌👍
Is Sheffield still planned this year .. still got my tickets from 2020 that was cancelled , stupid covid
Mark King’s brother ain’t Boon Gould (RIP) but with all due respect the guy can proper shred
He's a really good bass player too.
Every time I listen to Level 42, it's always a pleasure! I find that there is much more groove with Gary Husband on drums!
The sound of this young drummer is too "dry" and it lacks groove, too much technique and lacks "fluidity"! (this is only my opinion as a drummer ;) )
Level 42 forever!
Liverpool doesn't count, bit more enthusiasm Mark King
How over drumming kills a tune 🙄
Agree 100%.
Yep, it's far too much for me and, in places, ruins the backbeat groove of the song!
This guy can apply for Rush if they decide to reform..lol
For one time I agree, he went too virtuoso there tbh. It was abit obnoxious.
Overdrumming? Where? He kept pocket and did some dope ass fills!
