OK, what's with the "no gloves" trend? All sports have their styles and trends that don't always make sense, but I have to say mountain biking has some of the silliest style trends of any recreational sport.
@@Flamin111 It's a trend. I regularly bike in 100+ heat in the summer, gloves are the least of my heat worries and just based on the nice green trees in a lot of these, it isn't very hot. It's like the shunning of Camelbacks or taping tools to the frame, refusing to wear clothes that look bike specific.
@@DragNetJoe yeah that might work great for you personally, but that doesnt make not doing so a trend. I ride packless and gloveless simply because its more comfortable and maneuverable, not cause of some trend...
@@DragNetJoe comparing not wearing gloves to not wearing a helmet is pretty stupid, but your right, and thats exactly why most skaters and bmx riders dont wear them...
You know... Why do skaters hurt themselves so much? Everytime I watch a skatevideo someone falls like half a metre, breaks their arm. Everytime I watch MTB videos someone falls like 5 meters down and across and has nothing. It can´t just be the forest, can it? Like... I´m not harping on skaters. I´m honestly confused about this.
It's the opposite, skaters fall dozens of times per day, for a biker a single fall is quite the event Maybe you're watching fail compilations? So the average skate fail is gnarlier than the average biker fail. All about standards :)
@@vemvdotnet Well… I’m following the thrasher hall of meat account… but I also watch these fail compilations so I don’t think it’s that point but your first one is probably true when I try to recollect skating back in the day and biking nowadays. I could hear brakes from the adult right before the jump to avoid landing on him.
