Looks very productive. Good approach to your situation. Nice video.
Thanks so much for the tour. This is a garden that is doable. We have tons of Mulberry bushes along the field line. Cathy
The cicadas are almost silent here now, but they were very noisey for more than four weeks. Garden is looking wonderful! Blessings to all of you! 💙💙💙
I think we’ve got about a week left fingers crossed!
The garden is looking great!
Garden is looking great! I added 3 raised beds to my garden this year! I’m loving them! So easy to maintain! Bit pricy to get started but worth it for sure! Also got a green stalk tower planter for Mother’s Day and I’m super excited to try it out!
Great garden ❤
Hello, your garden area's look real nice.Raised bed's are easier to work for sure.I like your little greenhouse with the cattle panels, and chicken wire.Nice variety of vegetables and the strawberries will be great.Be well folks.Love,Pia and our Family in the California S.F.Bay Area.❤🙏🐕🐈💪👍✌️👋🖐
Thank you! You too!
I am in Tennessee and the Cicada's are everywhere and they are so loud. We have clay here too so my garden is all in raised beds we have 2 apple trees, wild blackberries everywhere, golden raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, squash, peppers, carrots, radishes, sweet potatoes, lettuce and I don't know what else oh cantalopes and watermelons and pumpkins. Lotscofvthings growing my apple trees are loaded this year can't wait for the harvests to come in. Take care and stay safe!
One good thing about cicadas...they don't bite.😊
That would be TERRIFYING 🫣
There is a reason they are called STRAWberries. They are meant to be grown over straw to keep the berries off the ground. 😀
Nice to see everything growing. Busy time of year. Have a great day.
We've had a lot more snakes here in north central Arkansas this year too. Especially in the chicken coop! 😡
Certainly hope that the cicadas don't reach your property. I know some other channels have them on part of their property, but hadn't reached their garden. Jason and Julie mentioned it. Sure seems apocalyptic. God Bless you and your family and your Gardens. Amen. ❤😊
Cicadas are actually (generally) not damaging to crops! They can damage young trees, but otherwise they are good for the ecosystem. They die off quickly and then decompose to enrich the soil around trees and shrubs
Sorry you're in the cicada zone, I'm so glad they aren't here in KC I don't think I could stand it. It's all looking good! So true that there's a learning curve with gardening (and everything else). Hope the noise doesn't last all summer.
They are almost gone, it's much quieter today!
My husband has not so fond memories of eating so many mulberries off his grandpas tree as a kid that he and his siblings made themselves sick… repeatedly.
Haha! Didn't learn their lesson...
