Legit an underrated plot twist in movie history just cause it’s a comedy but it enhanced the movie so much and made the dynamics even funnier and more amazing. Probably my favorite one period 😂
The lobster scene is a reference/recreation of the lobster scene in the movie Annie Hall, and wasn't in the first one, it's just another meta joke about the duo's quasi-romantic relationship.
The Cate Blanchett/Carte Blanche line was a meta reference to How To Train Your Dragon 2 that features the actress and Jonah Hill, and it came out in theatres the same day as 22 Jump Street.
★ - *Get Him to the Greek* (2010) 🔥 _/starring Russell Brand , Jonah Hill & Sean Combs ( Puff Daddy )_ ★ - *The Other Guys* (2010) 🔥 _/starring Will Ferrell , Mark Wahlberg , Eva Mendes , Michael Keaton , Samuel L. Jackson & Dwayne Johnson ( The Rock )_
I'm actually now realizing at around 6:29 the Doritos isn't product placement it's Easter Egg/foreshadowing for what's coming immediately after... the "shot him in the dick" was the "obvious" reference but remember that Coach was the supplier and he was eating Cool Ranch Doritos when we met him the 1st film, and the drug tasted like cool ranch(which was also the hint in the 1st film at coach being the supplier we heard 1st the drug taste like cool ranch then immediately after they run into him eating cool ranch Doritos.)
Had to mute the 10 seconds at the 2:22 mark cause we got *blocked* in most countries due to it. The very much filtered, chopped up music from "turn down for what"
Ice Cube's back must've hurt for carrying both Jump Street movies. Dude is straight up hilarious and I don't even think that his lines were even scripted 😂😂
Speaking of meta and easter egg references - I just caught the reference when they are in the commissioners office, and Channing asks what if they "actually go into the Secret Service and try to protect the White House" - just realized that was a reference to his role as a Secret Service agent protecting Jamie Foxx's president character in "White House Down" 🤯
Fun fact: The guy who played Rooster is played by Jimmy Tatro, who has a YT channel called LifeAccordingtoJimmy, which is a great channel with funny videos.
The scene where he realizes he slept with the captain’s daughter kills me! “Schmitt fugged the captain’s daaaaaughter , and you gave him dabs for it!!!!” 😂😂
I can't with the slam poetry scene. 😂😂😂 so good Always makes me think of the slam poetry scene from So I Married An Axe Murderer The scene we find out that he's dating the captains daughter 😂
You know when Jonah says the Lamborghini is like the Batmobile. Is cause the model he's driving is the Lamborghini Murciélago which is Italian for Bat, and was used in the Dark Knight as Bruce Wayne's car.
My frat was the exact opposite. Granted, I was only in it for 2 years, but I'd say we were the stoners out of all other fraternities. We'd hold smoke parties compared to just bringing kegs to parties like other fraternities. More chill and laidback.
I love these cheesy comedies so much. Also Tara and Andrew are great together, I could binge watch them watching other things all day. 😂 Also Tara has a channel as well people go subscribe because she’s awesome.
How did Jonah Hill not crack up laughing here? I have to see the bloopers 😂 39:16 Also how the last part of the movie was truly low budget, well most of it. This movie is low key really good and especially with all the META stuff.
This movie felt like Lord & Miller were given more control or they had find their style between the two movies, because 22 has more of their meta, manic style. 21 felt more subdued, and the emotional stuff hit harder, as if it was an amalgamation of their and Apatow style.
Been waiting for this reaction since I first got the notification for 21 jump street. I’m excited to watch this one. It’s so fucking good and hilarious. Glad I get to enjoy my lunch with a great duo watching this movie! Ring that belllllllllll! Love you Tara and Andrew ❤❤
Great review and I’ve been super clinically depressed for years. I pray for death every night and yet this movie made me smile a couple of times which is more than any movie has done in many years. I cannot believe how good it is probably the best comedy sequel of all time.
Usually alcohol doesn't destroy your liver right away. But damages internal organs to an extreme. So sooner death is expected. And messes up your kids. Born with autism, asthma, deaf. And fun other things. Like anger, confusion, more anger.
This movie doesn't disappoint! It's one of the funniest movies ever and holds up with the first one. Such a great sequel. Glad I got to see both on the big screen. The theatre crowd was laughing so hard. 😂
Haven't seen this movie in years, but while watching with ya'lI I could recall majority of the scenes in it, even finishing the dialogue in my head. I've only seen it about a handful of times-if that, so I'm just surprised it's all so vivid. Both 21 and 22 are amazing comedies, and although successful, I'm glad they were aware enough to avoid dismantling this series like meta commentary in it.
Loved the reaction and the post awareness. I too suffer from PTSD Drepression and ADHD. I take my meds but a therapist is always amazing. Btw your reactions never let me down ❤
And I don't think anyone would accuse you guys of seeing this movie already the plot line to this movie is pretty predictable even the first one was... It is weird though that people take the time to drop a comment to accuse you guys for watching a movie already 😅 ppl are weird
at first I was worried that dude on the right was gonna be a know it all like saying the Miranda rights like in the first one. but this was a good reaction :)
TOKYO DIRFTTTTTTTTT, i skidded my car in the rain one time as i was turning in somewhere with my brother in the car and there was somebody waiting to turn so we like had one of those car scenes where we were both making eye contact with the other driver and i immediately was just like “TOKYO DRIFTTTTTTT” we avoided a crash, and It will forever be one of my favorite memories ever lmao
im seen this movie like 10 times, maybe like 5th time i finally realized that guy jus chilling watching jonah and jillian fight, genuinely was dying for the next 10 mins i swear 💀💀😭😭😭😭😭

“Eric, Eric are you awake?”, “No”, “I’m late”
I was afraid this wouldn't be as good as the first but Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum proved me wrong. This movie was hilarious!
I remember this was the first movie I ever went to see in theatres just hanging with friends …good times
This is one of the rare times that the sequel out shines the original imo
Yeah this is one of those sequel movies that beat the original
The parents day scene is my favourite scene in this movie. Just Ice Cubes reaction seeing Schmidt always gets me
Legit an underrated plot twist in movie history just cause it’s a comedy but it enhanced the movie so much and made the dynamics even funnier and more amazing. Probably my favorite one period 😂
The lobster scene is a reference/recreation of the lobster scene in the movie Annie Hall, and wasn't in the first one, it's just another meta joke about the duo's quasi-romantic relationship.
But… i thought it was in the first movie. I might be suffering from the mandela effect
"My name is Jeff...". I don't know why that cracks me up so much. 🤣😂🤣
that coach walters prison scene and the scene where the captain found out that schmidt was dating his daughter are classic 😂
The way doing all these reactions with Tara finally got Andrew randomly singing now too😂
The Cate Blanchett/Carte Blanche line was a meta reference to How To Train Your Dragon 2 that features the actress and Jonah Hill, and it came out in theatres the same day as 22 Jump Street.
Did you like this one more than the first?!
No😂
Absolutely 😂😂
I think Ice cube made it funnier because of the plot with his daughter
22 jump street was better
For me, definitely better!

There was no lobster scene in the first movie, that’s why it’s so funny they do so many references to it 😂😂😂
“Remember the lobster? 😆”
…no 🤨
channing was talking about the movie "White House Down" when he mentioned the secret service and protecting the white house
This movie has one of the best end credits, let's be real. Was hype af and fun as hell.
Had to mute the 10 seconds at the 2:22 mark cause we got *blocked* in most countries due to it. The very much filtered, chopped up music from "turn down for what"

The lobster scene was not in the first Jump Street. The lobster scene is a reference to Woody Allen's Annie Hall.
7:30 I like how Nick offered me, is basically breaking the fourth wall, by telling the basic facts of how a sequel works
32:30 begins the funniest scene of all time😂😂😂
Fun fact: The guy who played Rooster is played by Jimmy Tatro, who has a YT channel called LifeAccordingtoJimmy, which is a great channel with funny videos.
Its always bummed me out they didn't make a third one. The rumor for 23 Jump Street was that it was gonna crossover with MIB
The scene where he realizes he slept with the captain’s daughter kills me! “Schmitt fugged the captain’s daaaaaughter , and you gave him dabs for it!!!!” 😂😂
I can't with the slam poetry scene. 😂😂😂 so good

Fun fact, the scenes in Mexico were actually filmed in Puerto Rico🇵🇷; hence why they refer to Mexico as “Puerto Mexico” 👌🏾😂
I love these cheesy comedies so much. Also Tara and Andrew are great together, I could binge watch them watching other things all day. 😂 Also Tara has a channel as well people go subscribe because she’s awesome.
Whats the name of her channel? Please and thanks!
@@tokyojudy In the description
@@Meepie_Playz I didn't realize that, thanks!
@@tokyojudy Of course 🤭
"Julia Rob Hurts mhmmmm"🤣

Such a fun reaction :) I love watching you guys together. Yes! Workaholics is hilarious!!!
1:12:00 Adam DeMamp (Adam DeVine), Anders Holmvik (Anders Holm) and Blake Henderson (Blake Anderson)! That show was awesome!!!! ❤
How did Jonah Hill not crack up laughing here? I have to see the bloopers 😂 39:16 Also how the last part of the movie was truly low budget, well most of it. This movie is low key really good and especially with all the META stuff.
32:32: When I watched this in the movie theater, everybody screamed at the reveal.
Everyone in the theater was stunned and after that dafuq everyone erupted in laughter
54:43 UA-cam is so pathetic they had to censor the word lube.
This movie felt like Lord & Miller were given more control or they had find their style between the two movies, because 22 has more of their meta, manic style. 21 felt more subdued, and the emotional stuff hit harder, as if it was an amalgamation of their and Apatow style.
How many people skipped straight to watch their reaction to the BIG reveal? 😂😂😂😂
Other dudes tatt was literally a red herring lol
Nobody noticed this. But finally.
i yelled seeing the notification. i’ve been waiting for this🥰 thank you guys!
I cannot emphasize how hard I laughed when he hit that pillar at 6:33 in theaters I was farting & everything Lol
Budget Captain America? Is Curt's son? Damn what a flip. Some people's kids
Great review and I’ve been super clinically depressed for years. I pray for death every night and yet this movie made me smile a couple of times which is more than any movie has done in many years. I cannot believe how good it is probably the best comedy sequel of all time.
Not just Kurt Russell’s son but Goldie Hawn’s as well lol can definitely see both
Took me way too long to realize Zook is Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's son

Great Reaction Tara and Andrew! This movie is so funny and great! 👍
It’s workaholics! 👍 and his name is Adam Devine, Adam Levine is the lead singer of Maroon 5
This movie doesn't disappoint! It's one of the funniest movies ever and holds up with the first one. Such a great sequel. Glad I got to see both on the big screen. The theatre crowd was laughing so hard. 😂

Tara looks baked in this video 😁
Tara Erickson deserves all the lobster 🦞
7:29 god i wish yall understood that joke lol
Andrew: “Tracy Murphy” 🥴🤤
These two were definitely high watching this lmao
I’m sad that no body talked about the lobster in comment because I also don’t remember it 😂
Yes Tara. The show you were talking about was Workaholics. Adam Devine is the guy's name. He was Bumper in Pitch Perfect.
I’m kinda sad Andrew didn’t notice the other guys tattoo was a red herring. I figured he would’ve gotten that.
Same here
7:28 funny he did become a secret service in White House Down
You’re supposed to wash your comforter? I knew that I mean…
Full circle!! Greg did a reaction for 22 Jump Street trailer 😭👏🏼🔥❤️
Andrew Gordon appears in two channels i just noticed
i'm still waiting for the other movies in the credits
Ice Cube did not disappoint at all! The dinner scene had me rolling!!!! The whole movie did, but that scene caught me off guard!
The lobster scene was added in the recap, it's not in the first movie 😂
Y'all still rocking BetterHelp?
I’m not usually a big fan of people who try to do accents but Tara is an exception! ☺️💗
Football coach is also the voice of Archer, Bob from bobs burgers etc
how are you gonna talk and miss the office is a giant cube of ice?
Kinda upset we haven’t gotten number 3
Reactors never seem to catch the Plainview Red Herrings joke lol
Yeah, and it's my favorite joke in the movie
The Lobsters are from Annie Hall, pls watch it ;)

Loved the reaction and the post awareness. I too suffer from PTSD Drepression and ADHD. I take my meds but a therapist is always amazing. Btw your reactions never let me down ❤
