the assassinations in this game had mediocre death cutscenes as compared to ACIII, AC ROGUE, and even AC1. However, i had the most fun in this one and enjoyed the overall story thoroughly. Only have a younger sister but they made that sibling admiration for each other so relatable in just a simple exchange shown right here.

I always found it hilarrious how these assasins, who value stealth and blending in with crowds so much, almost always prefer to go with a very noticable mixture of red and white clothes, and are always wearing a hood. these are usually people that usually draw the most attention! XDXDXD
The developers wanted to make the game more cool. Real life assassin's wore what was best fit for their mission. If they were assassinating someone of high social status they would wear rich people clothing.

This was my favourite Assassin's Creed game, I loved every second I played through it (although it took me significantly more than 4 hours). I remember when I unlocked the hidden gun and during the assassination mission when you were meant to jump in the water as some fireworks went off or something along those lines, I just shot the target instead XD.

One of my top Assassin Creed games to ever play along with Black Flag and Origins. In sentimentality it tops them all. The story of Ezio is truly an amazing one and a gift from the wonderful people at Ubisoft. The good ones that is, not the Templars of Abstergo.
But post ww2 "intellectuals" decided nationalism was bad, and we could be rid of war by being rid of it. Doesn't seem to have worked, like at ALL, and now the modern world is miserable because we've abandoned everything natural to us. Bravo, humanity.

He was still a teenager, his father and 2 brothers had been unjustly executed in front of him, they even implied his mother was raped. He wouldn't have returned with smiles and jokes. He would be poorly dealing with uncontrolable rage, sadness and frustration. He would be smashing stuff, pushing people away, punching walls, shouting and swearing and generally being a burden to everyone around him. This would have also served the story better, giving his character room to mature, grow and deal with his rage and trauma.

I agree. There's a point towards the end of the game where Ezio is reflecting on his life with Rosa but they didn't really do anything with that which was a missed opportunity. I have to agree with what someone else said, Assassin's Creed 2 has an amazing story but it's told poorly with a lack of depth that Brotherhood greatly improves upon.
That’s not his nature though. You get a whole prologue setting up how easy going and personable he is, they’re the traits that make him a great leader as he ages. It would have been a big mistake to just turn him into an edgy teenager after the betrayal, to me it makes much more sense for Ezio to put on a brave face and step up to the plate in order to take care of his family. Seems more in line with his character and makes him a more aspirational figure.

Good thing I memorized it during the loading sequence when shaun mentioned 1488-1498 before going to Rome in 1499 after collecting all 30 codex pages.
