I just bought this sub in very good working order, and near new cosemtically. Pretty impressive. I took out my SVS PB3000 and trying this out for a few weeks. I only paid $100.
Help, please. I have bought an older Velodyne DD12 and it does not respond to any button I press on the remote control. The remote apparently works because the red led lights up and the infrared sensor blinks when checked with a phone camera. The subwoofer works when connected to a receiver but I can't change any equalization settings or else. What could be the problem and how can I solve it?
Nice job and video! This sub is like jewel! I own a VX-7B, pretty punchy and musical, impressive for the size. Could you tell me please if this V75 MK2 plays 20 Hz loud (and clean)?
@@audionautica6843 I recently scored a V-75 MKII but haven’t really integrated it into anything. I did do a quick test and can’t seem to get it to push out 20hz. I have a small pyle 2 channel amp and tested speaker level inputs but it rolls off drastically after getting down to 27hz. Also tried directly plugging in my iPhone to left and right and doing a freq sweep with youtube and same. Also noticed mine doesn’t have a on/off switch as yours does. Hoping it’s not a problem with the amp but thinking maybe these are poor attempts at testing range. Thoughts? (Wont have a chance to appropriately and fully set up sub for a while)
I am looking at a v-75 mk2 as well. Asking $100 usd. Other options are M&k Mx 105. And a M&k v-90. Also see a b&w 8 inch, 150 watt. Think it's.an asw600.
I have one that I use in my home cinema alongside, or as well as, a Mordaunt Short MSW20. The M&K handles all the bass up front, the MS handling surround and surround back duties. Typically of M&K subs of this era music was also a priority.
2:40 yeah lol I didn’t understand what musical even meant until I tried to play music threw my svs pb 1000… it was a rough time
These are great subs. The caps are always going bad on every sub after long time of pounding! Cheers
I bought mine about the same year. Its still going strong. Yes kids have removed the MK from the front!

They sure are! Thanks so much for watching.
Is the LED indicator supposed to turn on immediately when the unit has power?
I guess so

Hi. Great job. Did it sound different or beter after the upgrade?
No - I wouldn't expect it to.
@@audionautica6843 ok thanks, some ppl say they sound way different and better after such upgrades

@@chrishead02 Yeah, hard to say, but it doesn't sound like your test setup is the best.
