In the uk horse chestnuts are high in saponin. Also ivy leaves. If you pour boiling water over a hand full of ivy leaves the resulting, cooled water is good for washing clothes

Outstanding! My wife and I are in northern Arizona and we have alot of Yucca out here. Last year I had my first yucca stalk for the juices and electrolytes. Looks like this year I'll be getting some awesome soap out of the yucca too! Thank you! And where's your grey beard,what's going on?

Great info, but these plants don't grow around here and I am not female. I don't have the same hygiene requirements.
