I add some of this to thinners and airbrush it on where i want a bare metal finish. Drys very fast. Once dry buff with a cotton cloth. Works great. Best to seal in afterwards with a varnish to protect the finish.
The flat finish of the wheels really takes hold and grips the pigment, with the use of the sponge to work the pigment into the surface. Good basics for applying pigments in general. That is, when pigment is applied dry, the finish should be flat, and the pigment worked into the surface via a makeup sponge, which gives much control.
Reviewing this clip again, I like the restrained hand and the application in areas only where worn paint might reveal bare metal. Too much of this product would suggest an overall dry brushing, and would detract from the realism.
Hey great videos, can you please make some videos with airplanes instead of Tanks? Because I bought the Airplanes Engines and Exhausts kit but I'm not sure how to use it. Thanks

Mig states that the only varnish he does If any is after the initial paint job and decals are done. It's the same way I do it as well cause there are many different textures in the real world and real thing. So my initial varnish after my paint ,decals or if I'm doing chipping fluid chipping goes on right after that is all done and it's always a satin varnish.or semi gloss.
