The sport that I coach has a taxing season and we have been playing a lot of matches lately. If you had to not get to see any of us though, I am glad it is me. We'll be in Branson in early October for a week & a half!! First time going to the Harvest Festival (got season passes, so we'll go multiple days)!! We're usually there at Christmas time. Just curious, what kind of cheeses were on the buffalo chicken grilled cheese? Im not a blue cheese fan, & afraid that might be on there!?!
The menu says that it is cheddar cheese. Jayme said the cheese tasted more like a mix of American and Swiss to her though. She said she isn't a fan of bleu cheese really either and absolutely loved the sandwich. We hope you guys have a wonderful time at SDC!!! We hope you love it as much as we do. Thank you for watching!

She keeps asking to see videos of the pumpkins at SDC!! 🩷 So, I'll be showing her your video sometime soon too, since I watched it without her! 😉
Going to be there September 30th. Wanted to ask, as someone who is really wanting to see the pumpkins and such lit up at night, would arriving at Silver Dollar City later in the day be a good idea? I've heard others say the best time to get to the park is an hour or so before it opens but that seems a little early for me any I wanted to stop at Shepard of the Hill's Inspiration tower first before going to Silver Dollar itself.
If you are going on the 30th, then you will be good no matter what time you show up. Obviously we suggest spending as much time possible at SDC, but If you want to go later to enjoy the night time festivities, then you hopefully won’t have to worry about the park being overcrowded. We went on Friday at around 5 pm and didn’t have many lines. If it is during Branson’s busy season, then we suggest going early to the park for sure though. We do highly suggest checking out SDC after dark for Harvest Fest.
That is a good question that we are probably not great experts on. There are lots of places at The Landing that offer them. The ones at Kilwin's look amazing. I know Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Northwood's Candy Emporium also have really nice caramel apples. SDC has multiple places where you can get them and just like everything else there, they look amazing. We just don't eat them enough to give you a great answer. I am sorry.

I'm planning on taking a trip there Oct 7th. What time has it been getting dark enough to see everything lit up?
The start is probably after 7PM. Dark enough to see in full glory is probably around 7:45 PM.
