First time viewer here, but this place holds tremendous sentimental value to me. I went here with my family all the time growing up, and after having been to other parks, this one is by far the best
Yes! Rides and food... They have some great coasters at SDC. We also really enjoyed the cave tour, but we enjoy exploring caves. It was just interesting seeing a cave at a theme park, and the history behind it was neat. Haha, we live near Busch Gardens and have Serengheti Flyer here; it's 135 feet tall and intense. Thanks for watching!
Brings back memories! Haven't been there since age 8 in 1993. Excited to try out the new Fire in the Hole. I remember riding Thunderation right after it was built. Can't wait to see this place again.
Thanks so much! We had the incredible opportunity to make it back last this weekend to be there for the announcement. We feel truly so blessed to have found such a great park. We feel in love with it even more this time. The people there have so much heart for their park. We hope to be back so soon! Thank you for watching! 😊

This just popped up on my recommended! I live roughly 1 1/2 hours from Branson. This town and SDC has always been our favorite place to go! I’m glad y’all enjoyed it!
Hi there! Very cool, Melissa and I loved the area as well, we wish we had more time there. We will certainly be back. We are glad you found our channel and we appreciate you taking the time to watch our video! :) Have you done the Lost Canyon Golf Cart Tour at Top of the Rock? We have a video of that coming out in the next few weeks, so much fun! :)
Howdy neighbor!!! I'm 1.5 hours away in Caulfield lol I'm way overdue for a SDC day. Christmas time at SDC is so incredibly beautiful and I highly recommend checking it out!!
Hello! We have only been to Branson, MO once and we stayed at The Grotto which is about 10 mins to SDC. We did make a video about this resort and stayed in one of the caves there. They have 3 different types of accommodations to choose from. We were also were recommended the Marriott Willow Ridge resort. I think k it is about 15 mins from Silver Dollar but right in the downtown area. Other than those two places we are not too familiar with the area there. I wish we could be more help. Thank you for watching and we hope you enjoy your trip! 😊
Man I grew up going here every weekend with the white water/silver dollar city season pass. I haven't been in years now although I drive by it every weekend on my way to the lake to go fishing. My dad grew up going here so I plan on surprising him with some tickets this fall when it cools down a little bit. Now that I'm 28 though I don't think I'll be ditching him to ride every ride 5 times like I did growing up. I really want to just take in the atmosphere now that I'm a bit older and more appreciative of the effort that's been put in to make it feel like a different time period. I might make him do a tour of marvel caves since it's been at least 15 years since I've last done that. This is definitely a special place for me.
You guys will have a great time! It’s definitely a different experience taking the parks in as you get older. We still love coasters but totally hear what you are saying. I heard that the cave tours are a bit different from even a few years ago with enhanced lighting. It was an experience we’ll never forget. It was so cool being able to see a cave and a theme park all in one. I’m sure you will both enjoy it! SDC was such a different park for us than our regular Orlando parks so we really enjoyed the uniqueness of the park with the craftsman inspiration. It’s unlike any other theme park, the closest would be Dollywood. We hope you enjoy your visit and let us know what you thought! Make sure to get some BBQ and a Funnel Cake, oh and Cinnamon Bread!
I've been to silver dollar city probably sense 2017 or 16, Because its close, love all the Rides, the shows are great, food is great, love the train and its show, and all the nice employees, Favorite coaster Outlaw run, Hot dog wrapped with a pretzel on a stick
Hi there! It was such a great park. We can't wait to book our next trip there and visit again. The employees were so nice, and truly made our experience so memorable! Outlaw Run was a AWESOME coaster! Short but mighty and fun! Wes got the hot dog-pretzel on a stick and it was sooo good. It was the one from the Bluegrass and BBQ festival with cheese all over it. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Silver dollar city is definitely 1 of my top theme parks, Something about it sets it apart from other theme parks, But it's always so fun and memorable, Also found out the reason it's so "unlevel" It's because they actually build the park around most of the trees To preserve the park's original history
4 days ago silver dollar city hinted about an expansion and will be released on October 17 2024, 2 years ago they bought 1200 acres, so they will be probably be making another park on that which is right next to the park

@@TravelandFoodieWarriors It almost looks the same, and then again it looks different. We are planning a trip down there next year, and taking all 5 Grandkids!
I am curious what day of the week you attended? Crowd level appears low. I am going in a couple of months for the harvest festival, I am trying to figure out if I should buy a trailblazer pass or save the money. What were your average wait times for rides?
Hi! We were there on Wed May 22nd and Thursday May 23rd. It was the perfect time to visit because it was right before things picked up for season. We did have the Trailblazer passes and walked on most rides. I would say that the roller coasters had about a 15-30 min wait. Most of the rides you could walk on or had less than a 10 min wait. Time Machine and Fire in the Bole had the longest wait times. We are not sure how it will be during that time but have heard that it beautiful up there during the fall season. I would recommend if you are on the fence to wait and buy them on the day you arrive and see how things are. I would double check but I think you can buy them at the front of the park as long as they don’t sell out. I hope this helps answer your question. Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy your time there as much as we did.
@TravelandFoodieWarriors Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate the information you provided. We plan on going on a Friday to hopefully avoid the larger crowds on Saturday and Sunday. We may just wait til the day of to purchase the trailblazer, if it is necessary. I have also heard great things about the area in the fall. We are looking forward to experiencing Silver Dollar City and all the other things the Branson area has to offer.
