You felt a slight pressure on your lips. A kiss. Your heart almost stopped. It was at this moment that you were determined to stay alive and awaken, no matter what. Ironic, considering the song and the situation. But this was no magic spell that could be broken with a simple act of affection. You were not so fortunate as to open your eyes. In fact, when it felt like your heart could have stopped...it did. You were now eternally dreaming, with that song trapped in your mind on loop...waiting.

Your laying in your bed, with no memories, nothing to think. You hear the scratch of a record player, and you hear the familiar song from a movie. You just can’t remember which. You hear crying, and open your eyes. People? But who are they, you start to wonder. Before all of them look at the door as someone else enters. They look worried, with roses in hand. The song is still playing, going through your head like a broken melody. You see the person with roses come closer, and you look into their eyes. They have a familiar gleam but you can’t quite tell from where. The song keeps playing and you suddenly close your eyes. As all comes to havoc and everyone crowds around you, the song continues. You start to remember. It’s from aurora, these are all my friends. You see your whole life flash before your eyes, not being able to open them, you let it happen. The song plays as you remember everything, and it all comes to a stop. Pitch black, and then blinding light.
It’s a few years later, and it turns out you died. You look down from up on the clouds, and you all of the sudden hear the song again, and someone runs towards you. Their eyes. The gleam in them. You remember. And suddenly everything might be alright.

you’re at an abandoned mall by yourself and you’re having a neato time when all the sudden you’re on a carousel (there’s one at my mall shh) and this song starts playing over the speaker. the carousel starts moving slowly and your horse starts going up and down. you feel a hand on your shoulder. you look over and see this gorgeous girl just staring at you with this soft grin on her face and you ride on the carousel just laughing. you pull her in and you kiss. you can tell she’s the one but something’s wrong. you talk for hours and hours and fall asleep on the floor in a store. this song is still playing in the background forever, and you never want this to end.
you wake up and you see a stab wound in your abdomen and this girl is crying and she says “i’m so sorry, i couldn’t help myself”

Imagine walking through an abandoned building and this is playing in an unseen room. Absolute nightmare fuel.
It would be the best nightmare, just imagine getting murdured by your favorite psycho character
I open my eyes to find myself in a dense forest. I saw dark blue and aqua colors on the trees, the forest ground. There wasn't any noise except a voice singing. It was so enchantingly beautiful, it practically surrounded me. I felt compelled to dance, a few simple spins and a bit of a one person waltz if you will. Eventually the voice start to go deeper I to the forest, I had to follow it and be entrapped in its ethereal melody.
I ran.
I ran faster. Faster. I was practically gliding throughout the forest, soaring over fallen trees, and diving under precariously hanging branches.
And yet I hadn't reached the voice. I haven't even seen a trace of the owner. It was disembodied, it's own being.
It kept singing about how we met in a dream and that we know each other. To my knowledge this is the first time I've heard this song.
Running, running. Jumping. I came to an abrupt halt when I reached a lake. It was still and perfectly mirroring the surrounding woods. I also saw a figure across the water, they were wearing a black cloak that showed their arms that carried strange markings. It occurred to me that the singing had stopped, it was now eerily silent.
I felt a strong urge to get to the other side of the lake. I slowly walked towards the edge of the water, I tried to walk around it but my legs weren't cooperating.
I was now ankle deep in water and the singing begun again from the stranger. I tried to scream and beg for them to help me but nothing came out of my mouth.
I'm knee deep in water and I wasn't even halfway across the lake yet. I tried to at least move my arms but I couldn't even do that.
I'm waist deep now, and I'm still walking! Why can't I control my body? Who is this stranger? Why do they mock me with dreams? How are they doing this to me? Why?!
I feel water on my chin, it's hard to walk now. I can't see their face but I know for a fact that they're staring at me.
I'm completely under the water now. The water is ice cold. I can still hear the singing albeit muffled.

Then darkness fills my vision as my lungs are empty from air.
I sat up right gasping for air. I look around and find myself in my bed at home, my cat sound asleep by my side. It was a dream all along. I couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to get dressed for the school field trip, we were going to go on a hike in the forest.

This ironically reminds me of the scene from Cinderella, where the prince and Cinderella danced throughout the moonlight. So magical and dreamy 💕

The same song over and over and over again, sanity slipping away piece by piece at every repetition of the exact same words of a tune I've heard too much that everytime it restarts I let out muffled screams in this nightmare of a dream I'm stuck in.
I know not how I got here or how I will get out, all that I know is that I'm stuck here, in the best day of my life and it doesn't seem to come to an end.
The first loop was beautiful, this majestic song playing out of every corner I set my attention to, and for the first time in a long time everything was perfect, everything was a fairytale until I closed my eyes and woke up to the same pair of blue eyes the next morning and everything else that followed was yesterday. I kept waking up to the beautiful day over an over again until I can barely breathe at the sound of the song in my ears at every tragic millisecond of my day.
I used to love this song, that voice, the tune leading up to it becoming as vicious as thorns pricking every inch of my bare clothed skin until my eyes close and I drift off to soundless sleep only to wake up to the same voice telling me the story 'once upon a dream'.
If only Angelina Jolie could be my sleep paralysis demon... Ahhh, a guy can only dream...

when i close my eyes i see myself. im in the forest, holding my loved ones body in my arms. his arms are cut and a bruise is on his neck from the rope i had to untie around his lifeless body myself. i cant move. i want to call the police, or even scream, but i cant. so, with blood on my hands, and his body on my arms and legs, and while im on my knees, my face is emotionless, yet the tear slipping down my face says otherwise.

Loving and caring for people then they leave but you really prayed and hoped he won't do the same. After meeting with him at your favorite spot, a lake in the middle of the woods surrounded by trees and green grass, he broke up with you and went on his heels leaving you there sitting alone. You get up to walk back home but you tripp and fall into the lake. You feel the warm water hugging your body and soul trying to soothe your broken self you start to feel like you are going to explode from the inside but then you feel the numbness as your view is almost black. "Come back please, come and save me". Were the last words you said before giving up and sinking even further than you ever did before.
