because you've farmed everywhere I assume. maybe i should tell DARPA to redirect the weather control satellites to not flood southern indiana, or not start the grass fires...or call off the late freeze that kills the wheat crop next year. Would that be more "real world" for you? :-)
In watching this series, which I like....I see many commercial references thou as to field treatments and also machinery: I'd be curious to know....which, if all or any are seeding w/ non-GMO corn? Perhaps under the Genesis channel this may not be the right place to inquire as they're a chemical company.
Genesis Ag who is behind the damn music . It's way to loud an way to dramatic . Give me a break its farming no one wants to hear a guy on an electric guitar. That so loud you can't hear what the guys are saying . Could be a good show but turn down the drama an music
@troy skeese -- wjhat are you talking about? those are my favorite songs! :-) seriously though, the music is a bit too loud. it's early...we're working on it...check out the next episode and let me know if it's better...coming...soon. very soon. :-)
Heath Wire yup..check out episode 3 and tell me if you think it's better. we will probably have to re edit this second episode to rebalance the audio...make it hearable
it's an old/lame joke. as in, "i can't hear you." you're right. we got a little carried away with the music in episode 2. we actually re-edited episode 2 for facebook, carbontv. and rfd-tv so you could hear people a little better but haven't re-uploaded it into youtube yet....the more recent episodes that were edited after all the negative feedback about the music levels are better, imo. thank you for the constructive criticism!
oh cool! You guys did a great job with the series though, the editing and interviews are really informational. Glad you guys reuploaded with lower volume music. Thanks!
The situation whereby African nations export crops to the West while millions on the continent starve has been blamed on developed countries including Japan, the European Union and the United States. These countries protect their own agricultural sectors with high import tariffs and offer subsidies to their farmers, which many contend leads the overproduction of such commodities as grain, cotton and milk. The result of this is that the global price of such products is continually reduced until Africans are unable to compete, except for cash crops that do not grow easily in a northern climate
Jeez who ever the audio guy mixing the audio must of been deaf or something because the music is way to loud too the point you can barely hear what the guys are saying.
Why do you have to play music in the background? We can't hear damn thing they say. At least make lower if you think it needs it. It doesn't have to over power the people talking.
No way! A brand new John Deere 9400T would come nowhere near close to $600,000! I'm enjoying seeing the work, but they make everything so overly dramatic.
Need to let up on the dramatic music. Just makes me laugh at times. All that heavy dramatic music set over shots of people planting and talking about their farms LOL. Good show but you are trying too hard with the drama. Need to make it more about the farming process and the things that farmers do day to day rather than harping about bpa all the time. I mean the farmers even laugh on here when they mention competing with each other
Enjoyed them both. One question. How does the pretty lady shown at the end fit in. A wife, daughter? Don't remember her being introduced. Just trying to follow the story. Which has been clear up to that point. Nice work .
Hey, great point. Her name is Melissa Yocum and she sells Dan his Agrigold seed. She also reps for Genesis Ag so I wasn't sure how to introduce her and defaulted to "nothing". My bad.
Thanks for your reply. To me it comes off like she's Dan's wife. But the son mentioned earlier that his mom had passed. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up.
Not really...if it was.scripted we would have edited away and left it a.cliffhanger instead of resolving it with the diesel turning over a fraction of a second later
WITH THIS MUSIC I WAS WAITING FOR tOM cRUISE TO BLOW UP A BUILDING AND RESCUE SOME CHICK. hOW COULD ANY BODY WATCH THIS AND LET IT BE PUT OUT TO THE PUBLIC. I would have smacked who ever did this music. cool show though
I love these episodes of corn wars
the music is so annoying, other than that I enjoyed it!
This show is the best keep it up guys.
Love the show but the music sucks, too loud.
oh c'mon...if we didn't have electric guitars drowning out the narrative you wouldn't know it's 'MERICA! :-)
I agree music ruins the whole show
Dank Cummins I
i dont mind the music , i dont think it would be as good if it was talking it would sound boring. Love Corn Wars makes me proud to be farmer
Very informative. I have to agree with others about the music. The narration is also excessively dramatized. Other than that, good series.
really. i thought this narration was pretty chill. you should've heard the first guy we had! :-)
I agree. This series has way too much drama. Real world farming not like this.
because you've farmed everywhere I assume. maybe i should tell DARPA to redirect the weather control satellites to not flood southern indiana, or not start the grass fires...or call off the late freeze that kills the wheat crop next year. Would that be more "real world" for you? :-)
Great Series. Will you follow all the way through Harvest? Would be cool to have the complete story at Commodity Classic.
yes sir. that is what we have captured and the story we will tell. :-)

When is a new episode coming out and I think the show is awesome but can u turn down music other than that it’s a 5 Star in my opinion
roger that. working on better audio levels for the new episode...which is going through a final 2 or 3 passes before release.
same here...great show but come on with the loud music already
When is episode 3 coming out?
soon! :-) just waiting on some last minute reviews to make sure we get the sound right and eliminate most of the typos. :-)
are there more than 2 episodes available?
not yet. it's all from this year so we are still shooting some too. new episodes coming soon though! probably 2 weeks away :-)

Did u go to nc state , if so how long because I’m getting ready to go and want to know how long I should go
I can't even hear the guys talking half the time, fix the background music and you would have a great show.
Heath Wire yup..check out episode 3 and tell me if you think it's better. we will probably have to re edit this second episode to rebalance the audio...make it hearable
When is ep3 is coming out?
Probably 1 week from today!
Wizard seed finder hahahahaha so true
love it. :--)
music ahhhhh!!!!! so loud

Missing in alaska
Music needs work. Otherwise good show.
yes. we have a re-edit of this show up on our facebook page: facebook.com/cornwarstv/ I guess I need to upload it to youtube as well.
Come on! someone start throwing wrenches already!
Its annoying how loud the overly dramatic music is... Can hardly hear what they're saying.
what?
Are you asking what as it's a question? Or do you want me to rephrase my comment again?

0:11 , feeding the world, or ruinning other countries agriculture?
The wilderness survivors oh yeah we’re really ruining their ag when there’s people still starving in their countries lol.

yes. in some ways it's "all in good fun" as it applies to the bpa competition. but don't tell kevin kalb that! :-)
For anyone that hasn't seen the first episode yet, watch it first! ua-cam.com/video/RU65FYGAjEA/v-deo.html
