I came to the US in 1989 and served 14 years in the US Air Force. I'm proud to be an American.
You guys make america great again !
My son in
Air Force too.
Thanks for your service!
I am very proud of you, I am also a Vietnamese American, I am proud to be part of America, it’s the land of opportunities, where all dreams come true if you bring out your best.
This is why America is the best country in the world. Not perfect, but if we stand together, one day it will be
that's right. No country is perfect. But 9/10 is still way much better than 2/10.
Exactly!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥰🥰👍💪👍🙏🥰🇺🇸🥰👍💪
❤❤❤❤ Love Respect
No doubt about it.
it is the best for me…and now for my family
It is very emotional to see the children of the Republic of South Vietnam achieving achievements in their new homeland. It is even more precious to know that many Vietnamese in their new homeland choose to become soldiers to repay the mercy of the United States. He is our pride
Couldn't agree more!
Perfectly said! 🇺🇸❤️🥰💪🇺🇸😘💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🥰🥰 May God bless you! May God bless this beautiful country, the United States of America! 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🥰🥰🥰💪💪👍👍👍🥰🥰🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Amazing young man and amazing foster parents!
Commander William Nguyen, we are so Proud of you “the Republic of Vietnam Next Generation”. God bless you & your love ones🙏
Huge Congratulations 🎉🎊 and so proud to see a Vietnamese refugee succeed.
Don't forget, captain Hung Cao is a Vietnamese-born American retired Navy captain. He is running for a U.S. senator in virginia.
Cao was born in Vietnam and came to the United States as a refugee in 1975.
Following graduation from the Naval Academy in 1996, Cao served 25 years as a naval officer. Trained in the Navy's Special Operations program, he salvaged planes and ships around the world from 1997 to 2013. As operations officer on the USS Grasp, he oversaw the naval recovery operation following the John F. Kennedy Jr. plane crash and dove to rig up the plane for retrieval. He made multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia defusing bombs and conducting special operations missions.
As a Navy commander, he commanded the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center from 2013 to 2016. He was promoted to captain in 2018. Before his retirement in 2021.
Cao should remember his oath of office as a commissioned military officer before running to Trump, who cares nothing about the Constitution, the military or this country... from a retired Vietnamese American Marine officer.

Saw the video where he was commissioned as a captain. Physician, naval officer. Seriously "high-speed, low-drag." Nothing but serious respect for Captain Nguyen.

I myself a refugee who escaped Vietnam in 1987. it was emotional and tears in my eyes watching this...

1987? How did you get to USA?
@@sieuluong4704 I stayed in Palawan refugee camp for 18 months and 6 months in Bataan - Transit camp for those who were accepted by the US. So officially I came to the US in 1989.
I also stayed in Palawan refugee camp for 18 months and came to Australia in July 1983.
I thought Palawan closed in 1987

America, the greatest country in the world, America welcomed my family in 1975, we all are successful today. We are now Americans and love this country and the kind people here.
We are so grateful words can not describe.
Hey Dr Nguyen, we are proud of you!
What an achievement...thanks for your service Commander Nguyen
An awesome story. ❤
Congrats to Commander Nguyen.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Congratulations and thank you for your service!
Very Inspiring. This is why I strongly believed in immigration. The true Americans, hard working American and Americans with life purpose are often waiting to come to America in foreign countries. I’m hoping more of the Nguyens come and replace the losers that been rioting and looting in 2020.
Do you believe all immigrants are like him? The reason vietnamese left their country because they've lost their home country. US is now their new home and hence the devotion. Immigrants that come to America for economic reasons, will leave America in a heart beat when it doesn't suit anymore.
@@damiann4734 He was not an economic immigrant. He was a refugee fleeing communism.
@Comedic Farce I didn't say about the person in the video, but to the comment
God bless America
Great achievement Dr. Nguyen.

Very touching story tear6in my eyes. Thank you for your service.
Proud of him, yes! Do something or become something to appreciate this country they had done so much for everyone.
I have an electrical engineering degree and I almost joined the army as well as a geospatial engineer then be an officer. They were my plans. The recruiter even booked my departure date and which fort. I was so excited and I was filled with joys.
Got 93 points on the ASVAB and passed the physical exam without needing a single waiver. I was even complimented by the female physician for passing it perfectly. She was like wow you passed it perfectly.
I still have ~$9000 in student loans.
He is the real American.
An American hero.
Proud of you ❤!
