Mackenzie is a true genius. The Detectorists made me into a detectorist. Love the show and love the hobby. Be lucky to all who detect🤞🏻🍻
make sure you support saving our countryside from greedy developers PLEASE
Such a special beautiful man. The Detectorists is one of the most natural, well written shows on TV. More please Macenzie.
Love Mackenzie Crook, brilliant man, with no ego whatsoever, a true gentleman, now I own a metal detector and absolutely love the hobby, thank you Mr Crook 💕
Mackenzie always seems nervous talking about his projects and seems embarrassed being popular.
A true Englishman.
Looking more beautiful than ever Vicky McLure.
O yes please write some more. I have watched the whole series over and over again and still see some little bit I missed. Its a wonderful series and I think I speak for many who would love another series ongoing from Christmas. Please please write more Mackenzie.

Mackenzie was one of my absolute favourite characters in the original The Office. And I just love Detectorists! Brilliant man.
Love this series, def needs to be another series or at least another special!
And he is from my part of Kent in Dartford. And have not disliked anything that he has done over the years + met him once and a nice guy!

Just found this show and loving it binging now I bought a metal detector some years ago but it sat on the shelf this has inspired me to reach out to a group to see if they will bring along a newbie so i can learn its such a sweet show and just walking around in nature is something i love
I have been a detectorist for many years, and a collector of many things. I found a fairly large piece of petrified wood, that had turned to metal (from iron oxide intrusion) it has sand blasted bark, knots, and branch crotch, and growth rings. My Son found, in our backyard; a small lead childs toy car (yes, children were given lead toys) the car, is a Dusenberg limousine that had been reissued during WWI, with two cannon barrels, at the rear to match the military tanks, of the time. What a great show, Detectorists is, and the characters are all wonderful. ❤😊❤😊
I've been lucky enough to find so many interesting and historical artifacts over the years and been privileged of having a few items in the local museum. Still looking for that find for the British museum though 😂
McKenzie you are such a lovely gentle man. Just listening to you talking is calming. I'm a huge Detectorists fan, and always love anything you are in. How do you fit everything in? Much love ❤️
Mackenzie came to the pub I work in about a week ago to take part in our Quiz night, annoyingly I wasn't working that night but found out he lives about 15 minutes from me. He's coming to our next one so I'm looking forward to meeting him
Such a lovely guy..looks, brains ..the lot ..charming guy
I was drawn to watch the Detectorists because I owned a metal detector as a kid. It was made by Compass and cost $129. I found all sorts of interesting items with that detector. The search coil head and control box looked a bit like the one that Simon Farnaby (Garfunkel) used. With that detector I dug up 7 gold rings in one soccer field. I jumped up and down a bit but I'm uncertain if I would qualify this as a gold dance. I also found plenty of military memorabilia, including uniform buttons, a civil war calvary belt buckle, a canon ball chunk, tons of silver coins (some of rare dates) and of course plenty of ring pulls and trash. That said, you never knew what would show up on any given day. I thoroughly enjoyed MacKenzie Crook's 'Detectorist'. It's about unearthing the past to find humanity along with bits of discovered humor that in turn illuminate the treasure trove of people that surround us. Thank you MacKenzie for creating this gem and for your spirit you give so freely of. Maybe I'll take the hobby up again and renew my faith in humanity.
The one show. People who don't know what theyre talking about talking about something they dont know what theyre talking about to someone who doesn't want to be there..
Detectorists, they're Detecting.
SPOILER: I hated that they drove a wedge between them, had them lose the gold horde, and that they burned down the cottage.
I understand it was to produce some drama but they didn't really need it
Two earrings? What a helmet.
Commenting on someone's appearance? What a helmet!
