YOYOdraws LOL THATS ME. I ALWAYS win in races cuz I’m the fastest in my whole school. That’s hilarious. Also- Sonia ran a few meters extra in the first 3- laps- every meter apparently causes about 2-3% reduction in aerobic performance. Cheers! good running!
You could kinda tell the marine wasn’t gonna win, because she had more muscle mass, which isn’t a bad thing, but for running long distance it’s not the best thing to have.
My friends knee fell during a pacer test. We had to stop where we were and werent allowed to move until the ambulance came to take him away. It was the 2nd time it happened to him and he always kills the pacer test.
They both abuse steroids. I would say the firefighter chick has a way better cycle, but both trained for mass and never did any cardio. They built to much mass too quickly and the heart can only pump so much blood. That’s why they got the endurance of a fat 4th grader.
This is nice how he says “it’s a lot harder than you think”. What do you think? We students do these 1-3 times a school year....I go from 30-60 of them. I always want to almost faint right after

they're also doing 20 yards instead of 20 meters., which is a whole 2 meters shorter. That doesn't seem like a lot but it the long run, it matters. Back in ninth grade, I was this unfit guy, who ate junk every day, and my first time doing it, I got 103.
Watching this initially I was like “I did 80’s in high school” and proud of it but I also am thinking about how I was younger and continuously practicing in track and was bigger and cardio was the only thing I was decent at but looking at it now, they definitely are in their mid twenties and still doing amazing and I know damn well I could never and I’m 21 because I don’t keep fit anymore. Y’all can keep saying how u did more in high school but try doing it now after you’ve left school and being fit 24/7, it’s harder and they did great!
Angie Lopez she didn’t really cheat because they never said anything in the rules about it plus they would have called her out if it was counted as cheating
I like how the guy is really impressed and then everyone in the comments is just roasting them. Everyone has done this test from like elementary school to high school. "Try to get 30." We had to do like ~45 as a minimum. Some kids go really high. And everyone knows proper technique, aka you don't run the first level! You don't need to! He was saying they were pacing themselves but they were not! That is too quick for the first rounds. I was certainly expecting them to to better than school-age kids and teens. They should redo this test: marine, firefighter, and two highschoolers (one who makes it to the average/near the bare minimum, and one who goes to 100+). And then we all get to watch these grown adults get schooled by kids who actually know how to do this test. Also I'm surprised that the comment section isn't filled with the beginning part of the audio (which if they redo this they really need to play in full because that's part of the Pacer Test Experience™)
Here's a key difference, they dont know the technique because no one in the firefighting force or USMC runs a measly pacer test run. Highschoolers know the "pace" because thats the only test they can get used to. USMC are trained to run miles. Firefighers have to run everywhere, with hoses, gear and people on their back. Sure, if they actually "slowed down" they'd probably outdo most highschool althetes, but thier sense of urgency from years in thier careers take over. Im pacing myself as a poolee to run miles, but I even bet you I would mess up pacing myself for a measly pacer test that I did 5 years ago. Now is it important to pace yourself? Yes, but a varying level that's constanly increasing may not be ideal for most people in these careers compared to highschoolers. I could be wrong but that's my take on it.
@@Daniel-tt5nc Yea that makes sense. One definitely needs experience with a Pacer Test to understand the strategies, and highschoolers have taken it enough to have learned these techniques. I just thought it was kinda funny that they said they were doing great, when really if they were equipped with the proper strategies they'd probably do a lot better.
@@NauatPrincesa I'm an actual volunteer, we perform fire, rescue and medical calls, even hazardous materials. There's a lot more to it than just plain garbage fires.
Fun fact: The fitness gram Pacer test is a multistage aerobic capacity test, that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The twenty meter Pacer test will begin in thirty seconds; line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly and gets faster each minute after you hear this sound. A single lap should be completed each time you hear this signal. Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The test will begin on the word start. On your marks, get ready, *start*. Yeah, I did that all in memory. Fight me.
My best friend at the time Dylan has the record at my elementary school of 127 and the pe teacher challenged him and Dylan beat the teacher at 145 he was the hero for the rest of the year... felt like sharing so lol
People on here saying "I do more" but do you save lives? Both these women have and probably continue to put their life's on the line, so umm yea props to both of them! 30, 50, 70 laps is a lot! The women you bring on here to do the different challenges are so beautiful, confident and an example! Thank you for bringing them on ♡
US Marine for 10 years Volunteer firefighter Me: forced to do this twice a year since kindergarten Him: you guys at home try to get to thirty Me: try me
We did it towards the end of the first semester and beginning of our second semester twice a week we didn’t do it towards February and March of this year but we still keep up by competing with the 6th graders in our class. We had to at least get a few ahead or 1 above our last time’s laps. It was pretty much a failure because I had a cold so I dropped from 26 to 12-14 because of that cold. I failed that week but decided to bring my grade up another way. But yeah, that’s my school
I knew the Marine was going to lose as soon as I saw her heel striking for a majority of the fitness gram pacer test. There is no way in hell she was in track💀
WHEM Equestrians it’s a way ppl run where when they step their heel hits the ground first. Basically what Carlos is saying is that her running technique is really bad which is why he predicted that she was gonna lose
Lol she probably ran cross country and not track because you need your toes to hit the ground first when you sprint. In cross country you mid-foot strike so you balance out the force of which your foot hits the ground, minimizing foot pain. But personally I didn’t heel strike when I was in cross country I only did heel strikes when I was doing long strides EDIT: sorry I meant mid-foot striking
@@qwertyuiop1854 in my first two months of track I was heel striking and then I pulled my hamstring and it got messed up. It was only then when I realized you should be midfoot striking

Tanner Joseph it’s about finding the balance between being and being fast. But most people don’t realize that you can have lean muscle (surprise). That’s why you don’t see a ton of combat dudes looking like football players. You see some Rangers, SF, Seals and you’ll find that most of these guys aren’t bulky
Immortal VIDS that’s completely false, as someone with first hand experience you want guys that are lean. Look at any grunt or SOF guy and you will see that being lean is better than being ripped and completely bulky. Try going on 12 mile patrol to then run into heavy contact. A smart comment, how rare.
Most people are also ignoring that these women probably weigh 2-3x as much as they did in middle school/high school.
Is it just me or was the firefighter lining up across the line every single time?
Yep, she sure was
Israel Clark he’ll yeah she was fucken Cheater the marine was lining up good
Angie Lopez but she still did so many laps she's a tank
Angie Lopez she didn’t really cheat because they never said anything in the rules about it plus they would have called her out if it was counted as cheating
That’s was a way to automatically loose at my old school.
Everyone in comments: I can do 100+
Me: can’t relate
Right lmao
Lol
Bangtail Son you done same, I’d fail the first time
Bruh id die at around 60
I can't even get to 15 and I'm skinny as freak
The guy talking is kind of annoying he just repeats the audio like just be quiet
EXACTLY! Like can you please shut up!
He doesn't seem very good at commentary.
We used to fuck around and naruto run or some shit in the beginning
At my school they dont let us walk the first few. We have to do at least a light jog
@@aSlimyDragon Yep, its basically guesswork for them the same as a middleschooler doing the test for the first time.
I’m reading the comments and the lowest I seen someone give up is a 40. Like by lap 8 I am on the urge of crying and eventually giving up at 10. 😂😭
Queen Nai me too hun mee tooo
Same my highest is like 14 🤭
Me too! I used to be fairly athletic when doing Tae Kwon do but I’m back to no endurance or muscle strength after quitting after a blackbelt oof
My highest was 40 in 5th grade and it went downhill from there to 27...
my highest was 30 but I’m in shape now and haven’t done it in years
i did 91 at one point but it was with a crowd watching so that’s an extra boost to get the highest score you possibly could
Them on Lap 7: “this isn’t even hard.”
Me on Lap 7: “I’m done.”
Also me: “I gotta work out.”
Maliope Skull bruh I only made it to 4
Maliope Skull It’s okay, I feel you
Happy Dolphin I feel you too
I can only make it by lap 1😂
Anastasia’s Gaming lol 😂

Every sweaty as kid in high school: am I a joke to you?
"42 this is crazy" dudes never seen kids do this and it SHOWS
shehnila huq bruh for real tho. My gym is much longer than that and this girl in my class legit got 100 tf
Bro we had to get 90 for a A.... schools are rigged, but not trying to flex but like 128 gang
TheFrenchPenguin 90 is easy if you play a sport and are athletic
I'm a 13 year old girl and that's my low when it comes to Pacers. It's not the impressive 😂
K J yeah all the athletic ppl got 70+
Firefighter: “I put out fires I don’t know what she can do” US Marine: Bi*** I kill people

Yeah not all marines kill theres like 2,000 jobs.
Firefighter: Saves lives
@@NauatPrincesa I'm an actual volunteer, we perform fire, rescue and medical calls, even hazardous materials. There's a lot more to it than just plain garbage fires.
@@Ghost88890REAL I agree. I was an EMT/Firefighter. You can add wild land fires to that list. Overall both jobs are honorable.
Fun fact:
The fitness gram Pacer test is a multistage aerobic capacity test, that progressively gets more difficult as it continues.
Fight me.
Bern the memories the horror
Damn that's crazy but I don't remember asking...
You:don’t look at me like that
Me:you amaze me
This brings back so much nausea😂
Did anybody else read it in the guy's voice and hear the sound effects in the background?😂
They look like they could beat his ass!! Respect to both of these women!!!
The firefighter isn’t even tired! She’s crazy fit.
“I don’t know what she can do”
*emerges as the hulk*
“the fitness gram pacer test-“ and the counting is NOT OKAY FOR MY BRAIN
sophi hernandez I can hear this comment and I hate it!😂😂😂
The firefighter was conserving her energy at first so i think thats why ahe lasted longer
stephany the marine was also carrying a lot more weights
It was really nice and supportive of the other girl to continue running with her
wait so you’re telling me i got a higher score on the pacer than a marine and a firefighter? that just boosted my self esteem😂
They can't pace themselves well so they got burned out
I got to 35💀
My top was 82
My top is 81
Yeah but they’re girls I’m pretty sure a male Marine would do a lot better.
The small white kids in hoodies at my school could do better.
Why they gotta b white doe why not Caucasian
Luis Salazar its the same thing..
Luis Salazar Caucasian is an ethnicity. White is their race💀
💀 💀 💀
Carrie Moorby why the fuck do you have farting women in playlists
“Everyone at home, can YOU do 30?”

I get at least 70 every week
Brianna Will i get 10- idk what the point in trying is for gym lmao
Becca's Home Every week?! Damn we only did this twice a year!
This is great but I don’t like how they are like oh WHOS better but like both are very important
Even just hearing the words “fitness gram pacer test” gives me ptsd 😢

HAHA SAME.
is a multi stage aerobic capacity test...
Eve-il Doll and?
For real makes me wanna bust out the inhaler
I remember this kid at my school knocking out 122 laps of the pacer this was in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, I was blown away, and yes I’m being deadass
For real. I saw kids busting out 108 . Highest I ever got was like in the 70s. This was in 7th grade.
Iohcs I think I got like 112 or something like that in 8th grade
i got 69 one time
I REALLY doubt that that happened in elementary, plus there’s a cut off of 110 (at least at my old school where I’m from) for children so young
My best friend at the time Dylan has the record at my elementary school of 127 and the pe teacher challenged him and Dylan beat the teacher at 145 he was the hero for the rest of the year... felt like sharing so lol

the guy : “how many does she have”

Summer Shaw I got 73 and I’m in 2nd grade

People on here saying "I do more" but do you save lives? Both these women have and probably continue to put their life's on the line, so umm yea props to both of them! 30, 50, 70 laps is a lot! Especially with all that muscle mass that is probably triple what 75% of you have "running" you 60, 100 laps...
The women you bring on here to do the different challenges are so beautiful, confident and an example! Thank you for bringing them on ♡

Me: try me
solveig marie dude you only have to do it twice a year? our school does it once a week Ur so lucky what the heck
Shea Brenna right!!
i've never had to do it in my life and i'm in highschool
We did it towards the end of the first semester and beginning of our second semester twice a week we didn’t do it towards February and March of this year but we still keep up by competing with the 6th graders in our class.
We had to at least get a few ahead or 1 above our last time’s laps. It was pretty much a failure because I had a cold so I dropped from 26 to 12-14 because of that cold. I failed that week but decided to bring my grade up another way. But yeah, that’s my school
Shea Brenna Bro how?! We do it on the second month of school, and the second last month-
I knew the Marine was going to lose as soon as I saw her heel striking for a majority of the fitness gram pacer test. There is no way in hell she was in track💀
WHEM Equestrians it’s a way ppl run where when they step their heel hits the ground first. Basically what Carlos is saying is that her running technique is really bad which is why he predicted that she was gonna lose
WHEM Equestrians it also gives people really bad chin splints
Lol she probably ran cross country and not track because you need your toes to hit the ground first when you sprint. In cross country you mid-foot strike so you balance out the force of which your foot hits the ground, minimizing foot pain. But personally I didn’t heel strike when I was in cross country I only did heel strikes when I was doing long strides
EDIT: sorry I meant mid-foot striking
@@qwertyuiop1854 in my first two months of track I was heel striking and then I pulled my hamstring and it got messed up. It was only then when I realized you should be midfoot striking
@@qwertyuiop1854 I do long distance btw so it's the best balance without injury and is more optimal

Jylian 8 I said boys because at my school the girls purposely do one lap and stop while the boys go as much as they can
I don’t thing anyone of y’all get the dum joke part of this 😅

Also try are so muscly that they weigh more than most middle schoolers running fast is probably harder just saying
Annabelle Schudlich eh I mean, you see guys in the NFL running way more than this and they built like gorillas.
They have bigger muscles which can carry their weight
Immortal VIDS that’s completely false, as someone with first hand experience you want guys that are lean. Look at any grunt or SOF guy and you will see that being lean is better than being ripped and completely bulky. Try going on 12 mile patrol to then run into heavy contact. A muscle machine wouldn’t last a day in the field without a protein shake to maintain his body and muscles.
