"Give me 5!" And I instantly got the inspiration to go down and do it myself. You're getting me back to working out, soldier!
Last part is the most satisfying and awesome vid bro 🤘🤘
this dude would smash me in this but the reps he is doing @3:21 are clearly not below the chin. I dont know if many were
How great! Love the camaraderie!
Lauren fisher!!! so dopeeeeeeee
My platoon in 2008 started off the CFT addition to the PFT. We are the ones who set the time standards in FAST company.
Lauren doesn’t complain :)
Completely in awe of Lauren
880 meter...sprint!? 😨 I couldn’t sprint half that 😅
It's more of a controlled run. It's hard to run wire to wire 880 sprinting. You have a controlled pace. It helps on a track cause you can track splits
Unfortunately, you have to do it around 2 minutes lol which is very fast. And it’s also not unfortunate at the same time lol because that’s what makes Marines, challenges ;)
@@Arora4926 2:50 is far from "around 2 minutes". And it is not very fast - for a dedicated male runner. It corresponds with 6:18 mile run - aerobic ability-wise. For the men and especially women of their built and weight, though, it is fairly respectable. For comparison: in French Foreign Legion fitness test corresponding time on 2,400 meters run would be around 9:50, and it scores 16 out of 20 - not quite enough for the highest level.
@@KidoKoin it’s not very fast true, but it is in boots and pants which does make a bit of a difference
Honestly, the sprint would piss me off because 880 is so weirdly specific and difficult to pace for. Make it an even 1000 please lol
Awww these marines are the cutest people I’ve ever seen!
She not only beat him in ammo can lifts, she did them correctly (can to the chest) and he cheated all most all.
Nope. Very few of her lifts got to lockout position which is required. She failed that test.
@@susanlea7759 You watched a much different video than I did.
@@johnshyer6287 Locking out means arms fully extended going up. She was doing 3/4th reps for most. She was even told early on to start locking out, so even the prompter seen she wasn't doing them correctly.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzero
@@anniedarkheart5224 you need to go back and watch it again, she was, he wasn't.
Josh Keep it coming!! 💪🏻💪🏻
this woman won beautifully
That was great. Congratulations to both!
For anyone whose actually a Marine can see that the MUF was not a full course. The sprint was wayyyyy to short and so were the low crawl and high crawl
It was indeed lol
Holy shit thank you. I thought I was going fuckn crazy. No way big guy could run a sub 2 with that pace.
Wasn't Austen's run time 2:50 if so then he got a 290 not a 300. Overall great work though and Lauren was fantastic!
After those two laps I’m Patrick from that episode ifykyk😭
Good Activity darlynh success for you
Somthing is wrong here at 9:54
I think some editing
I wish I knew what happened for them to cut twice like that.
No it’s just from different camera people
@@Jibrilll-ll Watch it again. There are two cuts there that seem out of place. There isn't another camera person in place before the second cut, and her pace and posture both instantly change. And the timer guy isn't looking at her or holding up the stopwatch before the same cut. For whatever reason, they had reshoot her crossing the finish line. It could be as simple as the timer guy reading the time wrong in the original take or the camera guy not being close enough to get the time read on camera. Not calling shenanigans, just curious what happened.
Pls get the sway joys to try the Marine obstacle course... that would be awesome to watch!!!
*boys
i feel like the CFT maneuver under fire is longer; that course seemed smaller ?
Yes that is waaaaaay shorter than how we run it
Yup. It’s several feet off from what the order states.
@@kacecraghead2845 it’s probably about half of it.
It’s the main track on Camp Pendleton where all the main side Marines do their CFT. Paige field house.
I was definitely hoping someone else saw that!! No disrespect to to Austen and Lauren, they did the damn thing out there with it, big ups!
How did Austin get a perfect score if the run required under 2:30 and he got 2:53? 1:53 is insane for the MUF…did that impact the score. Still super fun/great to watch. Outstanding effort!!! Both of you killed it!
He said, “spit in my mouth!” Haha wtf 😂
Timing?
The part he left out is your doing all of that back to back no breaks. (From a marine) he wasn’t based from the 880 sprint nor hurting from the ammo can lifts
