Thanks for the overview of Bluetti's booth! Also, it was great meeting you the week before CES in the parking lot randomly! I appreciated our discussion, and thanks for taking some time out of your day to talk with me! Made my day :-)
Thanks for the preview and review of Bluetti's latest innovations Jeff - especially since I can't be there myself. That Apex 300 looks *really* interesting as an upgrade from my AC300!
They were so close yet so far. The AC300 charges faster than this. I love the built in split phase and the charging from 240v, but damnit. The solar is a deal breaker. Delta Pro Ultra it is 🤷🏻♂️
Mind you, I must applaud the physical switches. No faffing about with touch screens, apps, or the more recent archaic combinations of buttons because they got rid of the touch screen (understandably, mind you). Now you just walk up and push a button!
Someone at the booth was running their DJ system on a portable power source... In Japan, portable power sources from Honda and JVC have started winning awards in audio magazines, and the trend towards using portable power sources is starting to take hold. I wonder if the excellent electrical quality, functionality, and ease of use of the BLUETTI will catch on with audiophiles, but it seems the wall of faith that products are made in Japan is still thick.
I've done total harmonic distortion testing on Bluetti gear, and they are consistently coming back with less than 1% distortion (where my utility company has 8%). The power is dramatically cleaner than any other power source I easily have access to.
@@WaveformScience I am grateful that you always introduce me to BLUETTI's excellent products. I use AC2A to power my audio equipment, and I found WaveformScience's videos to be very helpful. Honda's portable power supply won an award from an audio magazine, with a rated output of 1500W, instantaneous output of 2000W, capacity of 1314Wh, self-power consumption of 50W, charging time of 4 hours, and a price of 360,000 yen, which is almost a joke. Everyone, please watch WaveformScience's videos and then turn your attention to BLUETTI! That's what I want to say...
@@小野伸一郎-u9d The Bic Camera in Osaka is trying to hawk a solar generator that's much worse than the old Bluetti AC200Max for over 1 million yen! Just across from it was a fully stacked Ecoflow Delta 3 Plus (or whatever it's called) for 444,000! Also aren't "JVC" power stations just rebadged Jackery ones?
@@worldcomicsreview354 The current situation in Japan is that Japanese-made products that are displayed in stores are expensive, outdated in terms of performance and usability, and have short warranties, while BLUETTI and Ecoflow products sold in stores are somehow more expensive than the actual selling price on the Internet. It is obvious to older audio fans who probably buy in stores that "portable power sources are still like this." JVC started with rebadged jackery, and they have acquired some know-how and are now producing products that seem to be made in-house. However, the price is still high considering the performance. By the way, the portable power sources rebadged from JVC's jackery have a warning that says "The sound quality will not change even if connected to audio." I think they are aware of this to some extent. Since portable power sources say "Do not use with medical equipment," there is a dilemma in not being able to promote the quality of the electricity. KOJO, a manufacturer that also handles power sources for medical equipment in Japan, promotes the quality of the electricity in their clean power sources for audio, but in fact they are not PSE certified. I think this is the solution to the dilemma of portable power sources for audio. I think so.

Thanks for the informative Bluetti video. Since you were able to link to one of the unit does that mean the ac200l I just purchased can be accessed by anyone getting close to the house and change the parameters. Info I also purchased the ac180p. I have a cabin I am trying to implement backup while I am learning the technology’s. Just found your channel recently, very informative.
I'm liking Bluetti LESS AND LESS these days. They seem to create new products this far fewer features but offer accessories or a slightly upgraded model for more features. Think about it like shrinkflation at your local grocery store, trying to give you a somewhat same product for the same price but with less product to save money but still profit
That's basically what the head unit/battery ecosystem that Bluetti has on the AC200L/AC300/AC500/Apex 300 series does. They are compatible with the same(-ish) batteries between them and they all have slightly different specs in the head unit depending on what you need.
I would probably pass on one of these units because it doesn't have DC I don't understand who made that decision. Having to buy another box to switch it over to DC defeats the purpose of having a all-in-one unit. I do think the new bluetti 200 is pretty impressive but not been able to expand it with another battery is also another NO. But hey thanks for covering it and the information
There are a few companies doing automatic language translation out there, but they are all pretty expensive. I'm keeping an eye out for an affordable one though.
@WaveformScience I understand, I thought it was something from UA-cam, your channel is very interesting. I followed you from the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. Good luck.
Why are they releasing new products? Is it because all their previous stuff is f#$&inkg crap? As someone who bought a Bluetti and has had nothing but problems it’s highly unlikely I would waste any money on buying from them again. I guess Barnum and Bailey mentality prevails.
@ your killing the product by saying I don’t know what this does or what that’s for, surprised bluett let you video not knowing fully about the product. Maybe a little product homework would make the video more interesting.
It was great talking to you at CES 2025. Enjoyed the product breakdown! 👍

Much appreciation for using your time to attend and the sneak peeks.
Dual inverters! In Apex 300 …. Awesome.
Thanks for going and covering Bluetti's new stuff. The Apex 300 looks great! Looking forward to your review of the Elite 200 V2!
Thanks so much for traveling to Vegas and posting this quickly!
I have fun with it :)

apex 300 would have been a great upgrade path for current ac300/500 units, but that huge PV input NERF kills that idea.

They have had people going though the booth all day giving the same feedback.
On the plus side, there will be a fire sale on the old ones!
Mind you, I must applaud the physical switches. No faffing about with touch screens, apps, or the more recent archaic combinations of buttons because they got rid of the touch screen (understandably, mind you). Now you just walk up and push a button!
Thank you WaveformScience
Thank you Jeff. 😊
Great coverage, Thank you!
Wow, that Bluetti Apex 300 looks scrumptious. 240v but looks portable.
Thumbs up for being unbiased as much as possible.
Cool stuff, thanks.
Thank you!

60 volts, why are they going that route?

I was thinking swappable inverters (like the flex batteries) could open the possibility of upgrade/expansion and make for easy replacements.

60V max solar input.....smh
Depressingly low. Same reason I'd never get the Anker. Even my original AC200 has a 150v limit
I guess they did it to limit warranty claims

Apex 300??? What happened to the supposedly new naming scheme V2 Elite? Bluetti's naming convention is a mess.
They did a presentation today with the naming scheme. It was recorded and I think Bluetti may be posting some part of it in the future.
If CES is like SHOT there are no entry fees. Essentially they are looking for wholesale buyers.
You have to put the videos in automatic translation into Spanish and other languages, . Thank you you'll love it
