Thankyou so much! My brother bought Mi Band 8 from Dubai and brought it to India. I was fed up of trying to pair it with my Redmi Note 12. Rebooted, Resetted, Restarted it but nothing happened. I'm from Sri Lanka and my country is not in the region list of mi band 8 global version. So I tried to pair it with China or India but neither didn't work. So I tried pairing it with Argentina (the first country in that list); and it worked. Hope this helps to anyone having trouble with pairing.
Thanks, I had this problem since I changed the region to my home country. didn't knew it was the cause of sudden disconnect. it works after I change the region to China. one note though, I had to forget bluetooth device from phone to able to connect again, if not it would stuck in try again.

Or when you’re running on a treadmill, and from anaerobic it goes to light, despite you’re maintaining the same speed on the treadmill??

Hi. My Bluetooth in Samsung Galaxy A6 is on i cant find on search list device Smart band 8. My previous smart band6 is at list. The Mi Fitness App find and sync band8 but not the Google Fit. How smart band 8 will appear at Bluetooth list
I am not able to pair and the app instructions says only if phone region is set to china and app region is set to china, the pairing works. In my phone location settings, i dont have china country itself. Any idea how to resolve this. Which version of mi fitness app are you using ?

For iPhone users who do not accept the agreements: Change the Dark theme to the light theme from Screen and Brightness. You can then enter the application and accept.
Alternative solution for Pakistanis: Connect from Bluetooth First. Then go to app, if you've already selected China like me and was already using Mi band watch and now want to add another. Then select Taiwan China. A different region and it's good to go. You'll be paired immediately.
Please dont buy Band8 unless you are in staying in china. Outside china you cant connect the band to your app and the band becomes useless. I wasted the money buying this after seeing videos like these from few youtubers that it would work outside china as well.

No you can't, just change the language on the device and you're good to go. When the global model is available on the app you can re-setup the Band with your country of origin. Don't worry you won't loose your data.
@@SMARTWATCH_SERIES And how can i change the language from chinese to english if i cant read a single line of chinese?, because now my watch is all on chinese and i dont know how to change it back to english

if you've paired already in your bluetooth.Unpair it from bluetooth and then reopen the app and click on "add device".

Yeah I have noticed that a couple of times and that's one of the inconsistencies of the Band. What I do is re-adjust it

Please can you try turning on and off your phone Bluetooth?
If that doesn't work, try restarting the Mi Band 8
Do you have to keep the Region set to China in the app at all times then ? Because as soon as you change it to your region the band disappears.
Unfortunately, yeah, the region must remain in China as long as you won the Chinese version of the band

I think you might need to update your app. Make sure you have the latest version of Mi Fitness app

Close the app and reopen it, also restart the Band, keep going that and it will show up and then you can go ahead and pair the Band to your phone.

You will lose all your data from other regions.
You won't. Once you login to your Mi account you should see all your tracked data.
