I bet the reason he's so bubbly and cheerful is because his emotions aren't being suppressed by any chemicals or whatever, so his natural playfulness is able to come through at full force. It doesn't matter though...the good thing about drugs is that they often allow one's inner personality to shine through the conditioning of society. I think that's what you see here. Dan hasn't denied using all sorts of drugs, so I think it's safe to assume he may be on something. But, he's a strong guy...he can do it responsibly.

It’s not a bad thing, and he’s talked about his use of marijuana, so I wouldn’t at all be surprised if he had used it before entering the show. It calms the nerves and brings out your charisma. I do get kind’ve annoyed when people say he’s high in every single video, though.. there are videos where there’s absolutely no doubt, but most of the time he’s just being himself, as you have said
