That's so sad :( I'm really glad that he was able to overcome his anorexia, and that he actually understands now why he did it and can move on in life with a better understanding of himself and what he went through. He is such an amazing, talented, good natured guy! I wish all the best for him

What baffles me is they were driving a van. So they were old enough to drive, and they were bundling into a van and assaulting a legal minor. I just really want to know more details because it doesn't add up to me that his parents could have done nothing to prevent it. I hope they actually cared. Perhaps he didn't tell them or begged them not to press charges/confront them in case that made them take revenge. If those things were tried and didn't work, why didn't they find anyone to escort him?
optifog yeh the getting abducted part is strange! But he said he used to walk to school. And maybe as teenager he thought he could still continue trying to live “ a normal” life like walking to school on his own . But Where were his parents? If your kid gets repeatedly assaulted you’re bound to want to do something about it especially how he thought he could remedy the Problem himself by starving himself
