The wire rack lamp could be cool in a kitchen. You can hang kitchen utensils from it, like spatulas, ladels, etc. That way it serves an extra purpose and it's an ever changing design, as you'll never put the utensils back exactly the same.
During Christmas time you can hang decorations on it or Christmas cards you receive from friends and family. Many fun options really!

This is a true tutorial. I’ve been crafting forever i am 70. I started at my grandmas knee. I watched this video and learned three things I didn’t know. 1.Mini meter saw
2.Paper machete using cardboard( i love paper machete) i use newspaper and it’s messier than cardboard sooo
3.Attaching wire baskets at seams with dowels (genius). That lamp can be embellished to be any kind of hanging light or chandelier with bling and more bling.

I was just thinking, we used ro make paper mache with newspaper when I was in school. It is a bit messy, but so is this whole blending up cardboard. I would say it's easier to do with newspaper!

This was such a fun video. The commentary on the paper mache was hilarious. I would love to see an entire video on paper mache. Seems like you could do a lot of different things with it and it’s such a cheap and widely available material!

Love the texture on the mushroom lamp. I’m going to try out the metal tray lamp because I love the shape and then attempt to wrap it in fabric since I’m not into modern.

The wire baskets that you painted red that was my favourite project. I absolutely loved that and I’m sure with other peoples creativity,They can use your starting point and add in their own style and colors. So very creative. 😁🙌🏻🙌🏻

If you wanted to make your lamp look more aged you could take a complimentary color, dip your brush, then after scraping ad much paint off on the side of your paint can, then take a gently slide it along the surface of your lamp. What this does is hit all the higher points of the surface giving an old world affect.
The trays you bought gave me an idea - I live out in the country and I grow pineapples from the tops of pineapples I bought. It does take time before they bear fruit, but when they do the armadillo or the possums eat the fruit. But using your idea of the lamp shade I could use it to make a protective barrier around the plant that is producing fruit. Thanks for the idea.
Loved the video. The lamp was my favorite of the projects. I agree with you that it would look nicer if done on the inside of the forms you used. I was enjoying the texture as you were making it but once it was finished I realized the smoother look would have a nicer look to it. Very innovative, thank you.

My favorite DIY of all time from YT is your project using a Target plastic cup and bowl ($1)!! The paper mache lamp is my favorite. Now that I have the recipe, I can make lots of things with it. I'm wondering if you could have made small holes in the shade, like with a small diamond shape cutter, to allow more light to filter through? All of these projects are great conversation starters for sure! 🙌🙌🙌

I love the texture on the lamp.
My personal experience with 1.25 stores is that I can glue, paint, stencil, add greenery, stencils, lettering, a light source, twine, rope or ribbon, fabric, and/or miscellaneous wood pieces, and end up spending a good bit of cash for something that still looks tacky. Of course, I am not a trained professional.
My favorite content was when Drew repurposed the vintage items to flip. They were all high quality beautiful pieces that will add real character to the owners' homes.
I don’t consider myself a professional but folks offer me lots of money for stuff that i made for next to nothing. I could easily sell that hanging light for $50. I would probably decorate it a little more cause thats how i do. But he put about $20 in it not counting his time. I never heard of a professional crafter. But i guess if you get paid for it…But then i guess you are a designer. But im a crafter who makes stuff for fun and enjoyments. Folks ask me how much i want for it. i say what do you want to pay. I usually just charge for the materials OR i give it away. I hate charging for something i love doing and would do no matter what. 🤷🏾♀️🎨👩🏾🎨💃🏽
Great thing about these though is not a single one of them looked tacky. They all looked really great. Drew just has fantastic taste.

I love the frame (fantastic!) and your paper mâché project brought a lot of memories to me, I used to be Mrs Paper Mâché 🤣. The last one is less obvious to fit in a home, but you have a lot of imagination, I would have never thought of doing something like that.
