Genius! I see everyone using grip mats for using stencils and ink blending and was thinking of getting one. I have a stamp platform, which I like but I find the magnets annoying. This is great, I like the idea of moving the stamp platform, with the grip mat attached, out of the way when I need to. Thanks for the tips!
As soon as Tim released his grip mats, I added them to my Tim Holtz platforms. I like that there are other sticky mats out now that have a bit more grip. I had a hard time finding the regular size TH platform here in the US because of the crazy person who threatened to sue him but eventually was able to get one from the UK. Do you cover the mat with the acetate when you're storing the platform?

Only just seen this. Yesterday i bought the Lisa Horton sticky mat & really hoping it will work the same way! 🙏🤞

I don't cover the mat in Tim's stamp platform but I have another that I put into a mesh bag. It's easier than trying to get the acetate off.
