Speaking of rain, I live in Staunton, Virginia, and it has rained, non-stop, from about 6:00 this morning...and it's still raining! I'd be about willing to bet, that we've gotten at least 2-3 inches of rain-And it is a welcome relief to our grounds! We've been in an exceptional drought situation, but this rain will put a nice dent in that drought! I praise God for every drop that we've received!
If only we've had that much water in our riverways and cricks. Been a tough year for fishing. But you always come through John. You Find them Wherever you go. Nice video.
That looks like a lot of entertainment for just a hour or so of daylight. I am jealous of the fall fishing you have available to you, in easy access. Any chance you could share a rigging instruction on that double jig set up you were throwing. I am not familiar with tying that rig? thanks much, keep up the good work. Jim
I live in Knoxville, about an hour North of Soddy Daisy where he lives. There are SO many creeks and lakes and ponds off the Tennessee river here in East TN. Definitely a great fishing area.
I LOVE catching Golden Shiners!!! They love crappie nibbles and live worms!!! At least they have on my UA-cam videos 📹 🙃 Another great great video buddy 👍
Love this video! I live in the same area as you and have Candies Creek literally in my backyard (50 feet from my backdoor to the water). I've had days where I've caught 6 or 7 different species in 30 minutes...including some big surprises for me having moved to the area recently from Texas (like yellow perch). I've had a 20 year old kayak that I've used in the creek a bit, but just got a fishing kayak that I'm getting set up and ready for some warmer weather. Thanks for all videos! Love your content!
I'm a dig Light tackle bank fisherman so just subscribed to Lurenet! I remember when you introduced them on your channel a while back. Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless!
I really want to hit that creek in the second part but I saw on a map that it’s part of the area that’s supposed to be off limits til February. If I can ever catch a GW, I’m gonna ask them.
Ever tried a Texas rigged plastic worm? They work great for me and I rarely get snagged because they’re weed less. The Culprit “Fire and Ice” has always been my go-to in snag prone areas.
John, John, John-Excellent video! It pays to get out there, and try whatever you've brought with you. Ya just never know! I was curious:Are you heading South, say, down to Florida, to go fishing this Winter? If you do, would you catch a couple for me? Have a great evening, and God bless you and yours!
@@CreekFishingAdventures Hmm...ok. I'll take one Largemouth Bass, and at least two Chiclids.. or whatever they're called! By the way: Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, and God bless!
It’s getting hard to catch then here. I need to find a spot in my river like this. I’m just not too confident in fishing rivers. Been watching some of your older stuff trying to learn.
Normally I don't just flat out ask where you are, but curiosity is killing me. Is this creek relatively close to Fishtales? If so I think I fished here on my way to Florida last year.
@CreekFishingAdventures Hah! That is so cool. I didn't catch anything while I was there but maybe I'll make a special trip back to fishtales and make an effort to fish there again.
Another great video! This Black Friday I have $75 to spend on a fishing rod and/or reel. I want to get a fishing setup for bowfin, catfish and other similar sized species. I currently have an ugly stick gx2 rod that I was gonna get a Abu Garcia Black max X reel for, are there any other budget options for that kind of setup?
Nice video. Question: What speed and depth were you fishing your high/low rig? Just curious because I'm thinking about trying that method next time I go out. Thanks again for posting.
i tell you what low water low oxygen. all the severe weather we were supposed to get it light rain 🌧️ hot/cold,the weather doesn’t know what it wants to do.
Water is most definitely low rn, hoping this heavy rain might help out the drought. You did great again John, GOD bless!

Absolutely, also good for multispecies fishing

Same to you!
You should use a small crappie for bait for good size catfish that’s there favorite food
Hey you are finishing one of our spots we fish...we call it Y- branch out at Harrison lake, Chattanooga Tennessee...😊...
yeah there is always something there, i kayaked a couple tournaments out of there also
Temps are about to change!!

30 pounder! Easy. Maybe use more than a head lamp for video? I wonder if you lit up the whole area if it would turn the fish on or off.
What is a skipjack? Here in.Texas it refers to the saltwater species (ladyfish)
You got any tips for fishing early morning in 40 degree weather in the creek
fish slowwwww

im not really sure on that stuff, id check on discount tackle or amazon

i was fishing slow, the water was probably 4-5 ft at the deepest
@@CreekFishingAdventuresUnderstood. That's good to know because some of the creeks and lakes in my area are also similarly shallow. Thanks.
Go fishing with Justin! He will put you on some catfish!
I bet the big bass around that area eat those big golden shiners.
i have caught some good bass in that area
@@CreekFishingAdventures I believe it
Water is very low here in Louisiana 😢
What reel brand do you like to use?

Hey not sure if you have heard about Camera man Ron, I know you guys have calibrated in the past. He def needs prayers.
Why?
@@ColtenJohnston Ron passed away on Tuesday.
seems overpopulated with fish. probably why they’re all very small. fish won’t live long enough to grow up.
