John keep it up; you are like a younger, modern version of the Jerry McKinnis "Fishing hole" tv show on the web instead of tv. The older folks will know what I mean. Your videos give us an escape, capture the beauty of the environment, camaraderie amongst fellow fishermen when you have a guest. The simplicity of walking a river with one rod and a few baits takes us back to when we were all younger and that is what we had. Also, I too enjoy the scripture at the end as a reminder that we are part of something much bigger from our creator. This is Americana captured for all to see.
That was some clear water, you said something about wading it, I would say that water looked treacherous with all that rock, but really enjoyed you taking us along John!🎣👍
Good job John,....I know exactly where this is but I'm not saying since you didn't. We fish that trout steam now and then. I was not aware that there were that many bass in the river though. I'll give this a try here soon. Thanks for sharing Bud.
Yes, soon 🍁 will be making it interesting for me also especially with multi hook lures.Glad you’re enjoying your clear water. Very nice live with Gramps! Good luck and have fun!
That's a beautiful river and loaded with bass...you got me. When the water levels are right that must be fun. I'm usually 50/50 on hooking them on a fluke style bait. And yes the camo Creek Fishing Adventures hat is sweet. Blessings John
Your river is beautiful, as you said, you had better keep a close eye on the water level. Always love the "Classic" intro! I haven't seen any of the new Rebel soft lures in our wally's yet. Maybe soon. Always love the WORD ! Thanks for taking us along ! Pap Blevins
I just started to use the Gamakatsu G-Finesse Hybrid Worm Hook with my flukes. So far, my hook up ratio has been off the charts. The hook point is not in line with keeper, it is higher than a regular EWG.
Thanks John, again made me wish I could be there fishing with you! I just got some new Rebel soft plastic lures myself (thanks to Debo), and also wish they had weedles jigheads. I'm going to try to figure a way to rig those barrel jigs weedles, because the hooks are the perfect size.....FishOn....Jim
Hi John, love your YT channel. Watch it all the time. Could you at some point show some footage using a free rig? Just curious how that would work for you in a creek. Thanks. Blessings and peace to you.
That looked so peaceful, beautiful and just like a whole lot of fun. Even with all the traffic, it still had somewhat of a calming effect. Thanks for sharing.
Try tubes sit! Green pumpkin or the coffee and or salt tubes work well for me. Rig em weedless or stupid rig and you’ll show them fishies something they may not have seen. I find the sixty degree eye with EWC hooks are fantastic combo. Gitzit tubes are great if ya can find them but others with salt work as well.
This weekend, my creek was like visiting an aquarium. Saw many, many fish but only had 3 bites - caught one. In my creek, if it's so clear that I can see fish, they won't bite. I was followed by shad and bluegills both days. One was nipping at my leg hairs while casting. At one point, I was lifting up rocks, searching for crawdads, and 4 or 5 bluegills were hanging around me, waiting to see what I stirred up. Frustrating two days of fish watching.
Just out of curiosity... what glasses do you use to see that well? I use spiderwire with the yellowish brown polarized lenses and they are alright... actually better than some of the bigger names I've used.
So in are UA-cam channel we have been catching smallmouth and largemouth but I was wondering if you have any tips for smallmouth bass fishing with fish in Indiana in some creeks near we live
I wish they would allow a no limit on spots in that river. They are not native and they'll eventually destroy the smallmouth genetics. Just my opinion. Thanks for the video!
John, l know you love Smallmouth is it because they are the native fish and not the Alabama Spots? l know you like all species of bass, but l wonder why you favor the Smallmouth.
Thanks using the original opening song and video with the green sunfish lol. Love seeing it!!!
That my favorite intro.

I watched Jerry McKinnis, great show. Do you go any further back? Gadabout Gaddis was a great show .
East TN has beautiful places to throw a hook.
That is a nice pond. Definitely more interested in wake bait.

Happy Monday!!
Very nice! I love seeing the crystal clear waters and with all those rocks! What was your 1st lure and set up?

Best intro hands down 😅😂
You find some nice spots that are loaded. As much as i like catching spots, it is sad to see them run the smallmouth off.
Yup, I pretty much just posted the same thing.
You should run small crankbaits through water like that.

You need to make an east coast destination list for subscribers to one day go to. No spots just rivers.
Just out of curiosity... what glasses do you use to see that well? I use spiderwire with the yellowish brown polarized lenses and they are alright... actually better than some of the bigger names I've used.
How do you find these places I’m in east tn and would love to check them out
So in are UA-cam channel we have been catching smallmouth and largemouth but I was wondering if you have any tips for smallmouth bass fishing with fish in Indiana in some creeks near we live
Here in pa they're killing the white fluke
Amen❤

there is a no limit on spots but the lake it flows into has already been overtaken by them
@@CreekFishingAdventures That sucks.
John, l know you love Smallmouth is it because they are the native fish and not the Alabama Spots? l know you like all species of bass, but l wonder why you favor the Smallmouth.
❤
Never get rid of the intro
John I think you're good Christian...but you need to release your fish soon as you catch them you hold them way too long.
