I only have the Trust link visa card. No income can apply for the Trust cashback credit card ? I don't mind ntuc link points. So the difference is 0.22% link rewards and 1.5% cashback ?
hi demi, my understanding for using youtrip is that you can use it to top up touch n go which is a more popular mode of payment in Malaysia as some places do not accept cards. you can't use credit cards to top up touch n go, as far as i'm aware is my understanding wrong? thanks in advance
@@TuckShop-z4q hence i thought specifically for Malaysia trips, touch n go top up via debit card likes YouTrip might be a better choice because although the rate may not be the best, it is cheaper to top up touch n go and touch n go is more widely used in Malaysia
Just checking, for the trust Cashback credit card, if i only intend to use it overseas which i definitely wont hit the min spend of $500,$1k or $2k, will i still enjoy 1% as an exisiting users? E.g. i spend $100/month overseas, do i get $1 cashback 😅
Yes u will! No need to meet the min spend, just choose a category that you won’t use overseas 😅 and any eligible spend outside of that category will earn you the 1% cashback
@DemiZhuang sorry may I clarify why I have to choose a preferred category which I won't use overseas?does choosing a preferred category means having to hit the min spend as well? I.e. if I were to choose dining as my preferred category and I only manage to spend $100/month, does it mean I won't get even 1% Cashback?
Yes. So don’t choose dining as you will likely spend on food overseas. That won’t earn the 1%. The chosen category will earn the bonus rates only if you hit the minimum monthly spend in the quarter. So maybe choose entertainment or wellness?
@DemiZhuang thanks for the clear explanation! Having know the perks on how to maximize its usage(and avoiding the pitfalls), will go apply using your referral code! (:
@@DemiZhuang hey Demi, hope your back's better! also, damn..! i just saw this, and came back from a 3 days JB trip earlier. i selected dining as my preferred category 🥲same situation as @passerby-z. i suppose my expenditure on dining won't get any cashback then? 😭 EDIT: from what i see on the cashback received so far, looking at the related transactions. it's not from the dining

Which card did you sign up for?
Hey guys, does it make sense to go with the Trust link card if i am an union member? Or the link points earned are equivalent to the cashback?
Hi Demi, which credit card is more advantage to accumulate points/miles for oversea hotel stay?
So we should take which comparison table 1:04 or 3:20 to make a decision?
3:20

Does the cashback card give different rates for union and non-union members? Or it’s just between existing and new Trust Bank users?
Just between existing and new trust bank users. Doesn't matter if you are ntuc member or not.
which card is good for AXS payment for local bills ? thanks
I'll think about it then.
Please help to make a video on best frequent flyer cards with multiple lounge access and low annual fees, thanks

can't u use any kind of cards to top up touch and go?
Credit cards can be used to top up Touch N Go but they started charging fees since April this year

Hi Demi, how do i track back which category I had chosen for the trust cashback card
Under cards press on cashback. Thats where you will find it.
what about the uob FX debit card?
There are fees too
@DemiZhuang signed up for it cos they claimed there wasnt any transaction fees. :( anything i missed out from here.
@DemiZhuang they were advertising it as no transaction fees :(

Hi Sweetie, how are you today? Do you have the longbridge referral? Wanna support you again 😊
Ah I do not have longbridge referral for now
Is ur back better now?😊
Yess slightly better!! :) Thank you for asking! Haha
What about cards for china??
What about the Trust Ulink Credit Card?
Gives link points as rebates. Rates are the same as Trust Cashback card.
@@DemiZhuang If same rate what's the benefit of getting link points instead of cash?
Trust nice card but poor customer service 😢
How about tiger boss card?

Hi Demi, if I use YouTrip while locking it constantly, will it be better?
What do you mean by better?
@DemiZhuang is it safer? I know that there was a big incident but that was related to reuse of approval codes and was not a new fradulent transactions
I came across comments stating even though card was locked it still went through. But there was some reason behind it.
@@sethteas5195I don’t think approval/authorisation code can be reused
@@DemiZhuangpossible via offline transaction that don’t need authorisation
