The Othello Tunnels are one of my favourite places in the world. Amazing how they blasted a railway through the mountains. And I agree about your last comment, about diamonds being made by pressure. Nice touch.

It’s a very strange feeling to stand by a river you know one way and then see it like this. It’s frightening and savage and you don’t view it the same way anymore. We see so much destruction but there is also so much we don’t see, such as salmon spawning grounds, and streams that are no longer there or won’t be the same again.

The PNW has been hammered by these "atmospheric rivers". It's so bad that it's hard to find words to describe it. Thank you for sharing this. Was there a few weeks ago. they have cleaned up quite a bit of the mess and looks like they are going to start on the tunnels and the bridges hopefully in the next little while. I’ve never been through the tunnels, would love to check them out once they get everything cleaned up.

I can only hope those who have lost so much will stay strong and will somehow find a way to get back up. I don't live there, but these days, who knows what's gonna happen. Stroms, floods, fired, mudslides, etc, been happening in places I never expected.

Thanks for the upload! It really takes you there! It's so amazing that the land owners in the Sumas plane put up with knowing that the Sumas dike was unacceptable. How could they do something like that? Even though they couldn't decide who's responsibility it was, city state etc

thanks for the update. I am SOOOOO glad I visited for the first time EVER in august. never knew about this park until this year. Had the place to myself. Wanted to go back this dec. looks like only way is from the back side now , via walk or bike? The road to the main entrance was quite the climb.

What about the Skagit River? Any flooding or slides in the Skagit?
Tremendous damage, the Silver-Hope that feeds Silver Lake has re-routed itself several times through Silverskagit Road. A dozen washouts or more by km 12 where a man is still stranded with his camping equipment and vehicles. No possible crossing at 18km so I would expect severe damage continuing up to Ross Lake
@@yari369 Did it effect the homes along the Skagit? Jamie Davis and the others? What about the new subdivision at the bottom of the road by the bridge? I hope they get the camp guy out out safe, and everyone stays safe. Thank you for your info.
I also saw that it was flooding along the Skagit on the US side, so Ross lake will probably be flooded too if they opened the dam. I wonder how the Rangers are doing up there, or if the evacuated too.

I know that exact area, wow man, this is gonna cost billions to repair, ICBC is No Fault, I know there's no flood coverage, but even for other vehicles hitting mine in Langley, no fault anymore, not worth paying ICBC anymore imo, no flood help, now no car insurance

be safe brother, in a perfect world we all would be self serving introverts. usually it takes pain and suffering to teach us the intimacies of compassion for fellow man. the Lord of host is preparing you all for something. even in the tempest he did not loose his calm. its telling the winds to stop i want to learn. but endure we must thank you for documenting this and helping those in need. if there was a way i would help but i am way over in Connecticut and no pennies to rub together. but i can pray i have been for that part of the world. Lord send forth legions of angels to oversee the people in need and working to help. from the pilots to the cooks every one marked by your hand for greatness and deeds in your name that a great multitude of miracles save the peoples in Hope they sleep tonight lord. send them the Hope they need speak to your father for us that he places his mighty hand on those struggling and offer rest and safety. in Jesus name i pray o lord Amen. P.S. even if you do not believe GOD loves you to. even on the last minute of life he will hold the light for you to grasp you only need to believe in his name and your name will for ever be in the lambs book of life. Cultus lake beach is littered with tons of wood debris, they are using a big tractor to put it all in piles so it can be trucked away.
Won’t stop unless we clean our environment and air and start respecting Mother Earth. War isn’t are biggest concern this is. It is happening all over the world. If we keep doing damage it’s gonna be ten times even a 100 times worse is the coming years best thing is to move away from the coast.I got family up that way I’m thankful they are safe hope everyone recovers well

People can see how powerful God is. People need to come to repentance and stop living in there evil ways and turn to Jesus Christ. We can’t blame any on God because it’s all the wicked things people do that is against God. This is what the bible predicted cause they won’t turn from there sins. God did put a way out of this, He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ into the word to die on the cross but there are so many that reject Him that’s why all of these things keep on happening. Repent and believe the Gospel.
