When Chris said "Hope they watch this, people only like Jordans" I felt that. Too many hypebeast nowadays. I got me a pair of these Tmac 3's and got the Black / Royal colorway as well on the way. Had these back in the day as well. Too many memories! Tmac was the GOAT before injuries right up there with Kobe in the 2000's.
I agree but at the same time adidas needs to step up their game in marketing in keeping their legacies. I barely see contents nowadays about Tmac or DRose from Adidas
@@AirKangLocker You are right. They didnt even advertise tmac 3. I had to find out through DicksSportingGoods and then bought the Tmac 3 white/blue on champs. Not even adidas had them. Luckily they had the tmac 3 black/royal
What’s sad though is the OG colorways of the Tmac 2 that released this year sold out everywhere online almost immediately and were put up on stock x and goat. Really wanted them for retail but not gonna pay more, hopefully I’ll have a better chance with these

I'm telling you cause I bought like 5 colorways of the tmac 2.0 and the Splatter coloway I didn't purchase til a week and half later. I would still get notifications from champs that they had the 2.0. Just like these tmac 3s. They still sitting bro
not hypebeasts to be honest. i didn’t grow up on basketball so shoes like this don’t have the same history. early jordan’s let’s be real are beautifully designed and timeless(of course a little hype)

You are absolutely right about Tmac when he was healthy he was a problem! Vince was good but Tmac was on another level. Penny as well. I think he's been a bit underrated as time goes by. I loved his game and when he was healthy he was a legit. As a full on Nike head(I know it's stupid) there were only a few non nike/jordan shoes I actually wanted and bought. This was one of them shoes! There were a few Tmac shoes I really liked!
Yeah but Vince made it passed the first round in the Playoffs... T-Mac only made it pass the first round when he was a bench warmer.
@@duMaurier15 yeah VC had better playoff runs that still ended the same way Vinces did with no chip. But individually Tmac was on another level from Vince and most others players at that time. Kobe acknowledged, on many occasions, how special Tmac wss. That's not a knock against VC at all because he was fantastic in his own right.

First signature shoe my dad bought me back when I was in 6th grade. Memories. TMac was a BEAST!
Mine were the 2s my dad got me in 6th grade!! I saw the re-release and it put me right on nostalgia street for real. Simpler times back then. Had to grab a pair for old time sake
TMac Prime was Build different
I used to hoop and play floor hockey in these and I loved them! My favorite part about them was the internal lacing system, as it secured the foot in an amazing way and I was able to sprint/stop on a dime/cut without without them moving. Aside from the Kobe 5's, these were my favorite baskeball shoe of all time.
T-Mac 1’s/3’s/5’s stay in my classics rotation. I love these and thanks for keeping us updated. Can’t wait to get another pair.
Had the original TMac 2's and 3's in white/blue. Played in both. The TM3s were brick-like. Plastic on the medial side yellowed quite quickly. But I loved the design. What an era!

Man I've been living under a rock these past 5 years or so when it comes to the shoe world. Just haven't had the funds to pay attention to it all. Seeing these re-released (just found out last week) brought back some fond memories of me and my dad. Had the tmac 2s and always wanted the 3s but I'm not sure if I ever got them. I remember not pulling the trigger on the all stars due to the 2 different color shoes. T-Mac has always been my favorite player as he's the one who got me into playing ball. Found this channel by looking for reviews of this shoe and I'm glad I did. Reignited that love I once had for the shoe game. Grabbed the black 3s last night, can't wait to get them in
One of my all time favorite kicks I've ever owned. So glad to finally see these out again. Also, I couldn't agree more, people just don't know how good TMac was back then.
Wow! Chris you really did! Finally a breathe of fresh air from jordan's... I've been waiting for this review since the 2s. I hope adidas will consistently retro all of tmac lines. And will look forward to the tmac 4/4.5. Growing up tmac 4.5 got my attention with it's intriguing "hug system" technology.

Ahhh, one of my favorite sneakers of all time! Got these at a basketball tournament in 4th grade and these were the first shoes to make me feel fucking dope on the court hahaha. Thanks for the great video, love to see TMac getting the respect he deserves
I saw these come up on Adidas and have been waiting for you to do the review! Tmac was one of my faves growing up, used to re-watch the stretch of 30 seconds where he scored 13 pts to win the game against the Spurs all the time

Brooooooooooo for real!! These are my joints!! I still have a pair i bought off ebay in 2008 or something. They were rare back then, even though nobody wanted these. I absolutely love these and really, really, really need to get my hand on another pair. I really hope they'll release in Europe as well.

Great review as always. TMac was a pure scorer. One of my favorite players to watch back then. I loved the Adidas basketball shoes too at the time. I wish they would bring back the EQT shoes that Kobe wore and the SS2G.

Man these bring me WAYYYY back. Like elementary. Lol T-Mac is my all time favorite player. Beyond MJ and Kobe. Tracy McGrady was the first player that caught my eye and the things he would do on the court made me a fan. His shoe line is so underrated its ridiculous. It hurts knowing his injuries are what held him back from a legit chance for a ring but he's a Hall of Famer and that's all that matters. The #1 Orlando Magic blue jersey was my first jersey ever! I haven't been able to get the recent restomods of the T-Mac line but if I get a chance I'm doing it. All in. Every single pair every OG colorway.

These are pretty dope never wore a t Mac sneaker. He went off in 02 with the magic and you can never forget his comeback against the spurs when he took over in 33 secs

I love what they're doing with the D'Rose models. Everything in those shoes were great minus the cushion but now with Lightstrike and Bounce, we'll actually great cushion too

I had an OG pair as a young kid in the black variation. I will never forget my parents surprised me with them before basketball camp that summer. Great shoe, looked fantastic and the OG was so much fun to wear and play ball in. I recently saw the resto-mods in this same white color scheme and had to get them. Honestly, the t-mac 4 is my favorite shoe of all time (hope they do a restomod on it soon) but this t-mac 3 is probably one of the cleanest and sleekest looking basketball shoes ever made esp in this particular white and blue color scheme. T-mac was an is still my favorite player too.
The 4's I wanted, I hope they do the OG black and white colorway aka the 13points in 30seconds game haha
But the 5's were my favorite, loved the hardwood accents on the back of the heel.
The TMac 2s & 3s where my favorite shoes grewing up, and the ones he used in the all star game the red and blue shiny ones WOW!!!! I beat the hell of them and Ive been looking to buy them forever again but they are either too expensive o hard to find.
T-Mac 3s finally getting the restomod treatment. Glad these are coming back. Really liked these back in the day and didn't know better so I really didn't even mind that they felt like bricks lmao
I had 3 T-Mac models when I was a kid. The T-Mac 2 lows, the T-Mac 3 in black with blue and the T-Mac 4 in white with red stripes.
The first one was made out of terrible materials and later I gave them away, but I still have the latter pairs.
I even took the 3's out to play ball 2 years ago and then noticed that the outsole was ripping away, which is no surprise considering their age. Comfy shoes, if a bit bulky.
Now, the 4's...bruh! Those are tanks. I don't even know how Tracy McGrady played in them, because they're both heavy and stiff, but they look futuristic and pretty dope.
The design transition between the 1,2 and 3s was beautiful..evolutionary i would say

Ya i went a little overboard when they re released the tmac 2, i bought all the colorways and now buying all the tmac 3 colorways. Tmac and penny were my favorite player and my favorite team due to my name being Orlando. I am really surprised the the magic havent retire the #1 jersery yet. They have not 1 but 2 player who were on another level. Such a shame
I had a pair of T-Mac 5s (gray all-stars) and they're one of the best shoes I've ever owned. Adidas needs to consistently re-retro the full T-Mac line.

I was at a somewhat-local JD Sports and I saw these sitting on the shelf right next to the Jordan I.E.'s and some Yeezy Quantums. These immediately caught my eye.

Adidas has a fair amount of great models that released throughtout the 90s and 2000s,I wish they would release them on a more regular basis.Will definitely be adding these to the collection.

I had the TMac 3 to play in back in 04. Far from a sneaker head, I bought them because I was a huge TMac fan. But them sneakers were not good to play in. Heavy and hard. I tore my ACL in these. Lol. Brings back memories

I loved the t Mac line I played in the 2s and the 3. I shredded them to oblivion. They were really great . I always wanted the all-star version of them the red and blue patend leather ones. Back in the day they were something else. Alter that the 4s 5s and so on wasn't that great anymore

Man! T-Mac shoes were a huge thing! The OG’s actually were made of leather on the heel with the tmac logo on it too... the 1’s are the only ones that had a number 1 on the heel back in te day. And yes! it was adiprene technology

I had the second pair made in 04 that I always wore with a valour suit . I recall the adipre was cozy however the heel had the flexibility of a stelleto

I played my Sophomore year in these. The first time I ever went away from JB for a ball shoe. And these Tmacs held it down for me. I then later destroyed them in the spring taking them to the tennis court LOL. The got me to State in both sports. I do remember them being heavy. But everything was back then

Just bought the 97 rookie call back from his Raptors days. Their nice, because their still T-Mac 3's, and built with premium materials.
Sold them. Just didn't fit in my collection. Gotta say, the restomod was a nice shoe. But they sized so damn small. I wear an 11 to 11/2 and I had to buy a 12 and they were STILL really tight. So, yeah. Sold!

Great video. I jumped the highest in my youth with the Tmac 2 back in HS. Hard as bricks in casual wear but the court feel gave me extra confidence to get up there above the rim. Question though: I just bought a pair, opened the box, and see an AI Reebok mashup. Know anything about that? Should I be sending them back? The are nice though lol

The original model was actually MAD comfortable but the traction did not hold up to well but than again I played literally every day for 2-3 hours Lol. Happy to see these released again.
