It is in bad location. 1. you have to remove motherboard and flip it (then you can see the CMOS battery connector next to the VGA board). 2. Then remove the VGA board. 3. Then remove the heatsink. I have this old laptop to revive with new SSD, to use it in school, for powerpoint presentations, and some web. But the CMOS battery is also dead.

On my computer, the screen turns white when i fold it at a certain angle, I guess it is possible to repair the connection of the screen ? Did any of you ever did this kind of repair ? Is it easy to do ? I will try it some day when I got the time. Thanks
in the case of the battery, unscrew them all and then remove the strip above the keyboard and unscrew the screws on the left and right then remove the keyboard

you are not really showing us anything , but taking out screws , and putting in a few cables , its far too fast to try and follow , All I really wanted to know is how to get the DVD drive out ,
This is very easy. All you do is unscrew the keyboard compartment. Then disconnect the ribbon cable. On the right is a single screw holding the drive in place. Unscrew and push the clip to the right. This then releases the drive.
where it shows just pulling off the bar at the top of the keyboard (maybe on other videos for similar laptops) - don't do that! I broke my strip trying that, there are some screws in the battery compartment to undo, and then it can come off. And then the keyboard will lift up in one piece. Under that you will see the one screw holding in the cd drive. Undo that and it just slides out and the new one slides in. Then put it all back together the same way. Mine is Toshiba Satellite Pro P300-19Q. Hope this helps someone, as I wish I knew before I broke mine

If I upgrade to 2 4GB DD2 cards does it have 8GB of memory?
Or does the computer only accept 4GB of memory?

I HAVE THE P305 can I get past bios password?
There is no jumper ,but if you take the battery of the bios out for 10-15 minutes probable you going to reset the bios
U should talk through it for sight impaired people like myself who can’t see the video
