Sam Cheners Sunsetting isn’t a problem in theory, but the way they are handling it is. If they were to completely leave behind every piece of legendary gear for something new I’d be fine. My problem with the system we have is that they are now repurposing old weapons with the exact same rolls, a new icon, and a new power cap and calling them NEW. Either go all in with sunsetting or don’t have it at all. The way they’re handling it feels like they’re artificially inflating the grind. It also makes it even more apparent that the only reason sunsetting is happening is to get rid of pinnacles and if that’s the case why not do just that? No reason to get rid of other random legendaries if they aren’t the problem. When I heard sunsetting was coming I was actually down with it. I mean if you played through D1, then you already know what sunsetting is like. I like the idea of each new year of Destiny having an entirely new sandbox to play with instead of just Recluse and Mountaintop forever. That being said I really hope they make changes before November. I don’t want to re grind the exact same weapons and armor again just for a new icon. That’s pitiful.

The intro has that strong Halo 3 vibe. It sounds so similar to one of the tracks. I just can't remember exactly when its played. I love it though, brings back that feeling of the old halo.
