𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
In today's exciting video, we're exploring a power-packed product from Realtek, the AMB82-Mini. This little beast is essentially an IoT AI Camera Arduino Development Board and an impressive replacement for the ESP32 Camera Module.
Designed with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Neural Networks in mind, the AMB82-Mini boasts ultra-low power consumption. This makes it incredibly efficient and ensures you won't have to worry about draining your power supply.
What makes this board special? It features an HDR Camera with a crisp 1080p resolution, superior to the ESP32 CAM. The CPU speed is a whopping 500MHz, more than double the ESP32's 240MHz. The AMB82-Mini supports both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands, and also includes a BLE chip that enables Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1. Storage? We've got 768KB ROM, 512KB RAM, 16MB Flash, and support for MCM embedded DDR2/DDR3L memory up to 128MB. Power-packed, isn't it?
In this tutorial, we'll be diving deep into the board design, pin descriptions, features, and capabilities of this remarkable board. We'll also walk you through setting up the Arduino IDE and how to program the AMB82-Mini using this platform. What's more, we'll get hands-on with some practical exercises like making an LED blink, video streaming over a Web server, Object Detection and Identification, and 1080p Video recording.
So, if you're ready to explore the possibilities of IoT, AI, and Machine Learning with this powerful board, hit that play button, and let's get started!

Finally a great alternative to ESP32-CAM. Mind blowing speed and superb Video quality.
Thank you for making us aware of this and for making such a detailed guide.
Thank you for creating such a detailed tutorial video! We will continue to improve the open-source support for AMB82, so please stay tuned and keep an eye out for updates.
Wowww 😍 amazing video, really thanks a lot for this video. Now I'll create my next project with this module. All thanks to you ☺️❤
Thank you! I just ordered (back ordered) a few of these boards. Thank you so much!
Hey have you received them as yet , are they good?
@@staminadaddy I did receive them. I was out of the country for a bit. Am planning on trying them out this weekend.
Thank you so much. Will share this with others
Thanks for this amazing tutorial
Your videos has helped me a lot on my education
Excellent
Keep it up
Wow nice product 🔥

The presenter's delivery is engaging, and the video production quality is excellent. It's a valuable resource for exploring IoT and AI projects with this powerful development board. Keep up the great work!
Glad it was helpful! Keep supporting.
Great video. It is possible to connect without VLC ? I was using an android app with http request ESP32
Amazing sir nice controller 👍
This is exactly what I am looking for esp 32cam have lag...delay thanks sir
wow 100 bucks crazy you must be the only person that has bought one LMGAO
None in stock for at least 2 months.
The cpu might be 2x the esp32 speed but its 4x the cost & esps are plentiful stock also theres 5mp 1080p esp32s
No, not at all. Look at the comparision table in our website article.
Thanks for this amazing tutorial
Your videos has helped me a lot. I need the data sheet for my personal projects, plz help. Thanking you.
Can I see the live streaming on mobile?
This is a very good board.
Can i record a video with a customized text overlay?
thank you for information, can you suggest a power adapter for this dev. board ,thanks
🔥🔥
Can we create a rc car with this just like with esp32 cam?
Perhaps wifi6 is an important feature in a scenario of hi quality video streaming.
Ok. how to enable HDR, and H265, and how to set rtsp port ? No answers in doc.
please telling me , how can i make object following with this module please
lcd weather station possible wihit
Can i add another camera on this
I would definitely change the standard protocol from http to https.
can anyone suggest how to save data permanently on this boards flash memory. any library or any link
It necessary to take static ip?
backorder. Available on Aug 01,2023 ?
Can the NPU be tasked with a HAAR cascade? I would like to use this for license plate recognition. Use HAAR cascade to identify license plate, then use custom weights to do OCR for plate number
I really don't know about this. Have tried HAAR Cascade with Raspberry Pi and Python, it worked pretty well. I have no idea about this module. Need to contact the manufacturer, they can provide more info.
@@HowtoElectronicsIt looks like you can input custom weights, I might purchase one of these boards and see if it works. I could be wrong, but a cursory glance tells me it uses something compatible with pytorch
Edit: also, very nice channel-I subscribed!
Can i run my python tflite edge image classification models in it? any link for help or steps or example, thanks
No idea so far. It is latest board and a lot is to explore. I will come with many more tutorials.
Can you use them in apt lobby & would it support audio/video capture in low light
It can capture audio video. But low light conditions is acceptable.
Can you have commercial device for startup franchise based clinic model , more WhatsApp only
Does it work with infrared light? I couldn't find that info on their website
I want one now! I will hold my breath over this. The ESP CAM does poor quality stuff and has almost no GPIO, I really like your new setup but it's back order only.
Yes even I am impressed with the performance. There is no lag in video Streaming and has super fast speed. The video and image quality is HDR. Apart, you can use it for AI, ML, NN based projects.
bengali accents?
12:16 Is that really how you want it to work? Think all cars are motorcycles?
Thanks for a nice video! Do you still have this board? Any change you can measure size of the lens? I wonder if it can fit in my peephole
cost perspective ESP32 is 10 times lower than Realtek AMB82.
what language is that?
Is this a computer voice or a human who stops at the strangest places to take a breath?
🐱
You sound like Nepali or bengali. I think its more Nepali.
Yes
В 6 раз дороже esp32 cam!
10x times the price of an esp32cam, very expensive, not what i would qualify as an alternative
10 times the price... Is exactly what an alternative is NOT.
just about 3 times. it's still cheaper than a raspberry pi
@@tungnguyennhat9234a bike is still cheaper than a car too
Yeah but at least it's not crap
€30 for the board plus €40 for shipping to the Netherlands. Maybe the product is nice, but the distribution channel can better....
@@spock288430 pounds for a board that you can buy for 3... (a couple months ago I bought 2 for 2.5 each)
