    can you make a noob playlist vids for people are starting for electronics? i mean from parts of the electronics like capacitors and mosfets & their uses? & how to read & understand schematics to design pcb?

    • @LuccasLab
      @LuccasLab  3 роки тому +4

      Hi there! Thanks for subscribing, means a lot to me. :-)
      I thought about this but turns out there's already a LOT of videos about basic electronics on UA-cam. GreatScott, ElectroBOOM, Electronoobs, and Afrotechmods all make excellent videos on basic electronics components and circuit design. Also, I'd strongly recommend "The Art of Electronics" by Paul Horowitz - it's a great read and not too daunting for total beginners.
      As far as understanding schematics goes, there's no better way to learn than by looking them up and making your own :-)
      If you want to learn PCB design, the aforementioned channels cover some of that already, but maybe wait until you've mastered more basic skills. I'd recommend taking a look at SDG Electronics, Phil's Lab, EEVblog, and maybe BPS.space, too.
      Cheers, mate! Best of luck on your journey.

    LED_BUILTIN is not declared. Seems for ESP32 Dev Module it's not defined. Moreover in case of this board, the LED is connected to pin1. This then works on my board form Azdelivery. But on some other dev boards it might not allow setting to low on that pin.

    As I see, this ESP32 appears to have more I/O channels than the Arduino UNO or Nano, about a third more. But the working I/O voltage is 3.3V
    My main considerations are two. First, whether, for analog inputs, the ESP32 can work with most analog sensors that have "5V" stamped on them. Second, for digital outputs, whether the ESP32 3.3V needs 3.3V rated relays, not 5V rated relays. I hate to have to buy more relays. I have too many 5V relay channels unused.
    Thanks

    What power supply can we use to power esp32 other than power from laptop ? Can we use a 3.3v rechargeable battery 18650?

    • @LuccasLab
      @LuccasLab  2 роки тому +1

      It's going to depend on which board you're using, as long as it has an onboard 3.3 volt regulator you should be able to use a single 18650 Li-Ion cell to power it. You could also use try using a 5 volt phone charger as well.

    • @LuccasLab
      @LuccasLab  4 роки тому +2

      Hey there! The next videos will focus more on IoT (getting and posting data do the internet, communications protocols, that sort of stuff), so I don't plan on covering hardware serial. Sorry about that.
      I found this really good video about hardware UARTs on the ESP32. You might want to check it out if you haven't already.

    Thanks for your informative video.. you may not be aware you slur over a lot of your words.. for instance at ua-cam.com/video/UuxBfKA3U5M/v-deo.html you slur your 't' and say "insulation" rather than saying "installation". If you slow down your speaking a little you may speak more clearly and make it easier to understand what you are saying.
