As a Pre-Law Senior in undergrad, I found soooo many passions through the years and I really don’t know when I want to go to law school, I just know that’s my end goal. But I enjoy social media marketing, social justice issues, and politics and there’s no clear-cut way to absorb all my passions into one career after I graduate!
But you are an incredible inspiration, and I hope I’m able to make it to where you are one day! Just take it a day at a time.

Yess girl, you better get your lawyering on!!!!! lol Your outfit in the court room was super cute!! I definitely understand how school is so stressful. I always tell myself in the end it will be so worth it! The fact that you are in law school is such an accomplishment in its self. If God didn't believe you could get through he wouldn't have you in that situation. I can't wait to see more vlogs!

Im 31 and still feel overwhelmed feeling like i have too many interests careerwise and im afraid of settling.
"Afraid of settling" you hit the nail on the head. That is so relatable but we both need to snap out of it and know that no matter what we will be successful and be great regardless of what we may characterize as settling ❤️ WE GOT THIS!!

This is my first time watching you and I just have to say thank you ❤️ I’m not even in law school yet and I can’t begin to tell you how many “screw this” moments I get throughout the week. I start to question if I’m even made for this... So here I am in one of those overwhelmed moods and I see your uplifting video where at the end of the day you still got it done ✅ I’m proud of you and I know you will succeed and go far in life 🙌🏽💓

Watching your old videos I haven't seen. The struggle is REAL. Good to see you're in the firm now. I have so many passions as well.
I took law classes in the beginning of school and decided it wasn't for me. All I ever dreamed of was becoming a lawyer. Even in my high school year book my peers signed it as " Judge Toi" because they knew that's what I wanted. But I decided after taking a few law classes that my passion was writing. So I studied to become a writer, did a year in England and graduated in 2013 from San Francisco State with my BA in Creative Writing. It's been a struggle being a writer because the writing game has changed and sooooo many people are Self-Publishing which makea it difficult to become known and PAID as a writer.
Got into my Master's program and had to defer a couple years ago.
Although I am a published writer, I am currently working in the criminal field at a Superior Court in my county. How ironic lol.
In my 30's and still figuring out my life. I know this is an old video but thanks for sharing.

School is wearing me out too! Just imagine....being married with 2 sons....in school for media entertainment with semester ending projects due....& also caring for your sister's 2 children. Sometimes I get that "MAN SCREW THIS" attitude & want to give up.....then I remind myself that this is my dream. Am I really willing to give up on someday winning an Academy Award for Best Editor....because I'm having a moment of weakness? Nope....bigger pictures are surrounded by bumpy moments & mistakes...but it's how you handle it is what makes the picture! Keep your head up sis....ask God to guide you & He will.

i want to be a lawyer one day and i have heard a lot about law schools work and stress level and i've been told that every single person that attends law school has a breakdown. i have been mentally preparing myself for all of it. i love seeing how real you were. this is the most raw video i have seen about law school and it's highly appreciated.
I felt it when you expressed overwhelm and anxiety. I work in insurance and some days are good and some days are so bad. I tell myself I have the ability to cope to get through it when I feel like I can’t make it to the end of the week and I do. I suppose we experience similar days in many careers. Thank you for sharing the good and the bad. We can relate to you.

I really feel the same... It bothers me that I have some mang things I want to achieve... but I only get to choose a few.. sometimes I felt like I didnt actually achieve anything after giving up other things and it keeps me awake at night.. well I guess time will give us the answer. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the videos because as a mom, I am nervous about going to law school because of my son being autistic. Any advice for time mangement?
I’m in 8th grade, and I know I have time to decide, but I’m considering becoming a lawyer. But I’m scared to pursue it, because I can never concentrate. I get distracted so easily. Like, I’ll start working on an assignment, and I’ll start fidgeting and stare into space. And then I just don’t feel like doing my work anymore. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I was fine up until 7th grade. And I’m worried I’ll screw up if I choose law, cause I’ve heard the workload is a lot and stressful, and if I’m already falling behind in 8th grade, how am I supposed to handle law school? And advice?

Im literally just a freshmen in high school but my particular school offers a program (like an elective) but for Criminal Justice and I absolutely want to become a lawyer... but my knowledge on stuff like that is like 0... You have to wear heels even in the mock trials? Props. Sooner or later, you'll be finished and be a lawyer. Not a lot of people can say that. It's a pretty big accomplishment to go through all that work and studying and become a lawyer. Good luck.
