I have a Molle assault vest mil-tec makes. "modular system vest" it's called. I actually really enjoy the concept & for a Mil-tec product it's actually a lot better then I expected. Came with modern straps in the back instead of laces. & Also came with a bunch of CCE French camo woodland pouches that were lined with a PU coating for extra weather & abrasion resistance. Pouches being 600d nylon. For a bunch of SAW mag style pouches, some small ones & medium ones. It was a pretty great platform to build off of as all the pouches are removable for better ones. I have an Australian DPCU camo "minimi panic pouch" coming soon for the vest that allows a 4 mag extender buttoned & velcroed to a SAW mag pouch is what it is, removable as needed to make the pouch slimmer, lighter depending on mission needs.
Just amazing. I have read about just about everything on Eagle Claw but to see all this is mind blowing. Thank you for sharing. I can't afford to go to the event but will definitely donate what I can. God bless.
We're amazed at the items and information that come out every year we do Whiskey & War Stories™. The auction items haven't been fully uploaded, yet, but they will be soon and you can follow the event auction which will take place August 21, 2021 here: whiskeyandwarstories2021.afrogs.org/?fbclid=IwAR3trUtUVQmwlu4zueijAN7qEDV7MaS_heMyfh3_nMOTfFnEZ-59yjs2GGU#/index
Always been curious about the details of what these brave men were using while reading the book written by Late Col. Beckwith almost 40 yrs ago. Thank you very much.
Really cool to see a piece of history like this explained by the person who literally used it in Delta Force. These mesh vests are interesting tactical gear and are under rated for what they are especially when tailored to the user's needs.
Future idea video about Desert One i like to see: Green Berets gear from Berlin brigade, with the task to enter the iranian ministry in Tehran (4 hostages there).
I started getting my kit at a mold surp store by the base. I'm civilian, and I've spray painted my vest cause it was desert storm and mix and matched mag pouches and some other stuff from Bosnia. I feel good about that. Bless you both and be safe
The stainless folding knife is the old basic "boy scout " knife used by the military back when. I have several of them made by Camillus from the 80's. Main spear point blade, awl, can opener, bottle opener screw driver combo. The pliers are probably the military demo pliers with wire cutter, cap crimper slot, wire stripper for removing insulation
Made us pay for training off the clock. Had to pay for coffee at the office. Never I repeat never said thank you, good job or even Merry Christmas. Threatened two of us with firing if we didn't come to finger printing training ( we would never use as armored car couriers) pay $45. In a snow storm. I was sad to seevhe was still alive
Thank you i have always had a interest in Delta this was awesom Thank you Sir
I’m not big on commenting. This is amazing history. Thank you.
Thank you for saying so.
This is one good thing about Molle in that it lets you move stuff around as long as there is webbing.

A Greek Navy member here. Great SOF relics, keep the good job.
Thanks. We'll have more content coming pretty soon.

Another amazing vid. Two things: I'd love to see what a very old school tourniquet looks like (the one Phill carried) and also the knife/tool.
I think we can manage that sometime soon.
@@SilentWarriorFoundation MUCH appreciated! All the best to you all.
