About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first UA-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!
As a nondrinker....ever! I'd feel down when people around me would tell me to enjoy life and have a drink. I always enjoy...I don't need a drink to enjoy my experiences more. Now that I'm older I have no regrets I know that life is good, we must do what's right for ourselves...everyone is different ❤❤
Hi! I am a Filipina American and I've been watching your vlogs most recently. A few years ago, I came across your vlog when you were still living in your condo in Manila. Although I noticed your vlogs were upbeat and positive, it just didn't resonate with me, so I stopped watching before the vlogs would end. I was in a bad place in my life but today, I'm in a better position. So, when I came across your vlogs earlier this year, I was obsessed and could not wait to get a dose of that "POSITIVE VIBES" energy that you exude from your vlogs. I guess now that I am aligning myself with my higher self and gradually eliminating the toxicity that was shrouding me, I am more and more attracted to like energies whether it is in UA-cam or in real life. With that said, your decision to slow down the alcohol consumption is the best idea for your body. You are already treating your body like a temple with the healthy foods you eat and exercise regimen. This is just another step in your journey creating the best human version and experience! Namaste!

I slept early last night when you uploaded this. We're down with covid rn (4th day). I'm the last one within the family who got it (we're just few days apart).
I got confused towards the middle of the vlog as the audio is not in sync with the video. I hope this will be corrected. 🙂
Siargao is in my list of places to visit aside from Palawan. I knew about this from Nadine Lustre way back 4-5 years ago.

WARNING: CHEAP SUNGLASSES - They look cute but BEWARE they can actually increase UV damage to your eyes. I used to work in an eyeglasses lab, making lenses prescription & non-prescription. Many of the very cheap sunglasses have no real UV filter, even if they say they do. That makes them MORE dangerous than not wearing any sunglasses at all.
This is because the tint fools your eyes into thinking the light is dim and so your pupils dilate (get larger) to let in more light... and in this case, your eyes will be getting more UV light. This can lead to things like cataracts in the future.
You don't have to buy super expensive sunglasses but do invest in a name brand that is well known and wouldn't risk it's reputation by using lenses with no UV filter.
If you wear prescription glasses, you can get a clear UV filter on your regular clear lenses as well to protect you on normal days or when looking at computer screens for long periods of time. Some that don't even need prescription glasses have them made with the filter and maybe a light gradient tint for when they work on computers.
It protects their eyes and also help with eye strain. I even made glasses for people who needed a slight correction for the middle distance you need for computers, pianos, and other things they do for long periods of time that are more like arm's distance away. It's different than reading glasses or glasses for distance like driving. If you do those things a lot... and especially if you get eye strain or headaches from it after awhile... be sure to tell your eye doctor. You would only need to wear them when doing that activity that is at that distance.

*Hello Mickey you should plant aratilis around your house as birds really love them and they are great shade trees. They only take 2 years to grow and best fruit non stop. Yes aratilis don't stop bearing fruit they flower all year round.*

I live in Siargao, and I would 100% recommend a trip to the north - I hope you guys have time this time round. The north of Siargao definitely has that mystical energy. GL and it’s surrounding areas is very part heavy. Even just a little outside eg Malinao and Santa Fe make a huge different for vibes!!!

My favorite supplement each morning is Bean Envy's MCT Oil Powder with Collagen and Acacia Fiber. It is gluten-free & Dairy free. Non-GMO. I use it in my coffee instead of butter as I just don't like that. But you can also use it to make ice cream, shakes and smoothies. They have different flavors, but my favorite is chocolate, which can also be used to make hot chocolate, but I like the flavor in my coffee. When I make my big coffee with it, I'm not hungry until after lunch. For those just starting, it should probably do half the normal amount at first to get used to the acacia fiber, which also is a probiotic. I still add a little sugar-free hazelnut creamer or whipping cream. For those who like sugar in their coffee, I don't miss the sugar at all.

They just had it half price on Prime Day so I got two... which made me feel a little guilty because they quite often run out from time to time... but that's why I try to keep 1 container in reserve. 1 container is a pound I think and that usually lasts me more than a month.
one example of tourists coming to visit and then staying, is 8 Miles from Home, the British family who got stranded during the pandemic that decided to live there and is in the process of building their home after buying a piece of land on the island.

Those bats be treating your pool as a watering hole. It's gonna be really beneficial for them once the dry season rolls in.
I pretty much prefer how less commercialized Siargao looks like as it is less chaotic compared to, say, my home island of Mactan, especially in the eastern side of the island with all the different resorts.
And yeah I dare say that changing lifestyles is very beneficial from one's health. I don't usually drink alcoholic beverages but back in college(especially before I switched college courses)and I was usually seen as the odd one out for not being a party animal and not drinking beer during gatherings and such, I drink softdrinks everyday. The pandemic pretty much helped me change lifestyles which made me a lot healthier than before. A lot of my classmates and schoolmates who were hardcore party animals back then have suffered the consequences of such a lifestyle by being rather unhealthy and often depressed, so I was glad I was not influenced by their ways.

Same here Mikey, on my younger years I drink a lot but now occasionally. It makes me lethargic after drinking now a days. A lot of people does say it’s like Hawaii vibe. I wish I can visit there too
So hawaii has Carenderia and sari sari stores and lots of stray dogs? SIARGAO is beautiful. But Honolulu has Skyscrapers and a very Iconic culture. Siargao has vloggers and ice candy.
