Glad I kept my PS3 to play the PS1 games I decided not to sell. I know there's a few in my smaller collection that they probably would never add to their store/catalog anyway.
Yoshi-P also confirmed in that interview that a FFXIV demo is coming. Kudos to Squeenix for bringing back demos and here is hoping just like with the Diofield, Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile demos progress carries over to the game when it releases.
I just spent like 2 weeks catching up to a year of your content. You're invaluable, and your consistency over the years has been astounding. Love from Sweden ❤️
First time in years I just let my sub run out last month and didn’t renew it. Was really looking forward to the classics but it’s insane how slow things are releasing (if we’re lucky to even get a ps1 or ps2 game in a month). Hopefully Sony can get their act together in 2023 with the classics catalog.
Great episode. 100% agreement about the slim/pro segment. I imagine the redesign will be very similar with the white faceplates, maybe the central piece becomes matte, and the curves are more flattened out, with potentially the disc drive on the black segment (unless they really do that seperate attachment). If they do a PS5 Pro in FY25 it would be to give another excuse to let this generation go longer and release the PS6 in 2029 or something. But I think no Pro and PS6 in 2028 (or even 2027 at the earliest) would make more sense. With the idea of a Horizon MMO, it does seem like Sony might be trying to get a live service game using all their IPs in every category, which makes sense from a versatility standpoint. With TLOU as potentially a BR, Horizon an MMO etc. If Plus Premium doesn't start improving very quickly it really does feel like they should refund people who bought an annual subscription under the promise of new classic games monthy.
as a kingdom hearts enjoyer, who has beaten all the games on original hardware, as well as PC; I am so glad to have a reason to play them all again on ps5 lol
Honestly the PS+ situation is infuriating i subscribed to a higher tier just for the legacy games only and it would seem as not a big problem but what they deliver is embarrassing to say the least😡
PS5 pro 2025 is crazy. The pro version should come out in late 2023. Buying a pro in 2025 is the biggest scam ever because the PS6 will come out in 2 years after that.
I hate we have been given the Tekken 2 and not Tekken 3. Tekken 2 sucks imo but Tekken 3 is one of the best fighters I've ever played. I really want to see the ps1 Spyro trilogy mainly 2+3. There's so much potential but they're not utilising it. I hate how Sony does this so often with new products and services , they support for a while but not supporting the full potential, then the service fails and they decide to replace or cancel it. I hope they sort this sooner rather than later and listen to what people want.
The only way the Activision/Microsoft deal doesn't go through is for the one of the concessions is Microsoft has to allow the games on there subscription service as well.
extra mid-tier is by far the best sub option for ps plus, not even close comparison, especially with the reduced streaming ps3 options for plus premium
Worth remembering that the Ratchet trilogy is absolutely LITTERED with bugs and glitches that were never patched. I remember making a video showcasing many of them, years ago.
2:00 - "Premium and the Deluxe Tier" - When you say Deluxe, are you referring to "Extra", or is this yet another Tier? All these different Tiers are really confusing, especially given that none of them seems to include what people really want - Day-1 access to 1st Party exclusives!
Yeah I upgraded to PS+ Premium Tier for like 24 bucks. I will not renew it with the way this is going. It would be worth it for local emulation of PS3 games, and also the PS1/PS2 games should just be straight up emulation instead of past re-releases.
It’s sad to see the new PS+ tiers lagging. I cancelled PS Now in Jan because I realized most of the games I cared about I already owned, and most older titles I wasn’t too interested in (other than some PS3, and streaming was mediocre). I realize I’m fortunate to be in this position, but between the continued lax rollout, insistence on streaming PS3 titles, and DuckStation/PCSX2/RPCS3 available on Xbox Series consoles, as much as I want a reason to upgrade from Essential and play these games on actual Playstation hardware, I can’t find a reason to do it. The whole switchover to a tiered system doesn’t feel/seem well thought out. (Edited to correct a spelling mistake)
That Margaret Qualley model from the leaked Overdose gameplay is just a placeholder, it's Mama's model from Death Stranding, Margaret might not be in the game at all. This is probably just a proof of concept video to pitch it to different publishers, not even footage from the actual game.
@UCbMhiAJ7My3_0HlM_MxuXyg No lol, that's literally Mama's model, from when she's trapped under debris in the flashback. It's literally the character model from Death Stranding.
Upgraded to premium when it first rolled out. Such a bad introduction for that tier. Ended up tiering down to the extra tier as it seems to be where sony puts most of their focus.
Maybe they should worry more about getting extra regular PS5s made instead of trying to make more different PS5s that are going to be just as if not harder to get
I’m so pleased that I got the extra rather than premium. Especially I’m not a classic games person. The extra is more recommendable since it has more games. Especially I’ve downloaded over 10 games from the extra catalog since June. Also you don’t even need premium to get the classics(except ps3 streaming), you can just buy it.
I got Premium through the exploit, although I wish I'd bought more time. I only have it through 2023 and about a quarter into 2024, I would've at least bought through 2025 if I could've afforded it then.
@@dapperfan44 lucky you. Sony added PS Now in my country only after the new subscription tiers so I could only get it "illegally". Never had the need for it except for this case. Now got the Extra and it's ok
@@dapperfan44 I got PS Premium by upgrading 3 years of PS Now and if it weren't for that I definitely wouldn't have gotten Premium since there isn't much that I want to play or can play since PS3 games are streamable only.
The nastiest thing is they're giving Oddworld: Soulstorm again when they gave it for free months ago as essential.. This is gross PS Plus is a total bs. I wont pay that extra again for premium. Screw them.
Sony was and is never going to implement local play back compat. Msft worked a miracle in negotiating new license agreements for their back compat efforts(OG&360). Dealing with licenses is likely a bigger undertaking than the actual emulation.
Microsoft could have offered whitelist emulation like they did on the 360. The 360 supported a ton of original Xbox games without license issues like NFL Blitz and Tony Hawk. The XB1/Series systems play older games well but there's SO FEW that are supported, it's a shame.
@@DP12321 Yeah I bought the Sega GT/Jet Set Radio Future disc so I'd own it, unfortunately it does not work in my Series X. I was already aware it wouldn't work, but still.
Cuz where is all the Simpsons games or Rayman raving rabbids. Since we have TMNT cowabunga collection, I hope they make a the Simpsons collection one day
Im sure at this point that Sony doesnt know what are they doing with Clasic titles ,or they didnt get the licences that they hoped,or they didnt want to pay or both.
I think the ratchet and clank series being added is pretty cool. Those are classic games what’s wrong with having a collection of OG PlayStation games?
Whenever the slim comes out I hope it ditches the soldered SDD. It's my biggest fear that these consoles will end up as paperweights when the drives ultimately start to fail years from now. I guess that will also make the working ones more valuable decades from now.
Oh man, the number of DualShock 4s I had to return within the warranty window was really shocking. My original one lasted a solid 5 or 6 years or so, then went bad, then I went through like half a dozen within a few months
Regarding the Horizon multiplayer and mobile game rumours, part of me wonders if this would be something as simple as an online extension to the ‘Machine Strike’ board game component of the series.
I believe PS5 Pro comes sooner rather than later. The main reason is that PSVR2 demands at least twice as much power as flat screen gaming. Reprojection will be the short term solution compensating for the lack of processing power until the PS5 Pro launches and offers native 90-120 frames per second.
I may be in the minority here but I’m not a big fan of the Horizon series. Played and beat Zero Dawn and Forbidden West and came to a realization that it’s not for me. But it’s nice to see Sony going talk out for it.
In all honesty, there was no point of overhauling PS Plus to separate tiers... Yes maybe add separate titles in various times but again the tiers weren't needed
I hope the PS5 slim will have a quality cooling system, not worst than in original PS5 since the Zen 2-based APU monster needs to be cooled to perform well)
"monster"? It was already a generation out of date at launch, can hardly handle ray tracing, and the supposed "120fps" is a load of crap since most games with that option are 80-100 and therefore judder like crazy. The ps5 is not a "monster," its a solid entry level system
A ps5 slim redesign I can understand but a ps5 pro when they are not even going full in on "next gen" will probably make me foam at the mouth in anger. Tekken 8 looks to be the first true ps5 game for me and I think will make or break how I ultimately see the console going forward.
The Ratchet and Clank collection was one of the worst PS2 to PS3 ports I've seen, and streaming it will take away most of the benefits. Why they can't just give us the originals emulated from PS2 is what makes it even more frustrating. Minimal effort.
Sony should just make the PS5 compatible with external BluRay disc drives you can buy now. Since the discs now simply exist to install the game completely to play off the hard drive (or just be a key if it's MW2) just make them without an optical drive but let people bring their own disc drive like you can with M.2 storage.
Yeah, the video title sums it up. Sony, should have had the PS Plus service as 2 tiers. Despite getting the PS1 edition of Tekken 2 on the PS3, still can’t be got, despite others being possible to access without paying extra.
What a disappointment! All we want is what they said was coming an every month just pisses more people off! I refuse to upgrade past essential until theres a great amount of PS1 PS2 and PSP games are added!
Glad PS5 Pro is coming. I'm tired of having to choose between FPS and fidelity modes, I assume Pro will be able to do fidelity at 4K. Also PSVR2 will benefit the most from additional power.
They should up the ante with PS Premium delivering at least 1 ps1 game with trophies a month, just to not have it empty. With 1 a month we could have 60 gomes in the next 5 years, which could cover a good chunk of AAA ps1 games. Let's be honest, we have already little to no time to be on schedule with new modern releases.
Just got my Ps5 and spent the first half a day downloading from my Ps4 Pro.. (I bought a SSD for the Pro 2 years ago) I mean really if you have a Pro it wouldn't hurt to wait for a price drop for the Ps5... They both have their pro's and cons , and the Ps5 isn't really a big enough difference to justify the price tag... Save some money and just go buy the $125 dollar SSD , that alone will make a big difference on how your Pro operates....
Couldn't agree more, platinum has been a huge let down. It also feels like PS3 streaming is locked behind it and should be on Extra. There are just too few classic games on the service.
Hey I'm with you there I honestly don't want a PS5 pro to happen for two reasons, one which you already said, which I agree with, it does take away what a ps6 can do. And also it was so hard to get a PS5 and I can't imagine how hard it would be to get a PS5 pro . I don't want scalpers to get more business. so I say no thank you.
If PS Premium is considered a disappointment, imagine those of us in PSN Regions with the half baked PS Deluxe minus PS Now streaming. PS Deluxe costs $140 in my region vs $80 for Essential,& yet the "library of psp, ps1 & ps2 games" is near non existent! The PS2 games were from the defunct PS2 classics on ps4 library & most are listed as incompatible by Sony on PS5. There's been zero ps2 classics since then. The psp/ps1 additions have been few & underwhelming emulation compared to 3rd party/freeware alternatives. The Deluxe tier seems to be literally $$ for a vapourware service. Sony never acknowledges PS Deluxe users even exist on its blog updates,& relies on PS3/Now streaming of PS3 HD versions of ps2 classics like Sly Cooper & Ratchet's compilations rather than invest the time & resources in native running ports for all. Sadly much like the ps1 mini effort & others,Sony especially under Jim Ryan charges for a Permium service, but puts in a cheap effort & doesn't have its heart in it. The very thing namely its library of classics it could lean on to distinguish itself from Gamepass & sadly Sony management is instead focused on live services & mobile phone dev studios.
Working on Horizon 2, bought Sonic Frontiers through Sony Rewards (cost me $13, didn't have enough points before launch and they also made me pay $5 for shipping)
@@joeydirt420 (I know this is long, there is a TL;DR at the bottom) Not exactly. The way Sony Rewards works is that you get points when you do things from the Sony Rewards app, or mainly by using a Sony credit card or PS credit card. I chose the PS card because it seemed more worth it to me (more on that later). The reason I got the card, initially begrudgingly, is because you _USED_ to be able to get points by buying stuff from the PS Store. I got Kingdom Hearts 2.5 PS3 free back in 2015, got Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled free in 2020. Unfortunately and stupidly, Sony retired getting points from using the PS Store starting in 1/1/22 to make the PS Credit card mandatory instead of optional (a Reddit post I read recently stated this was not Sony's doing, but was something the card company made Sony do. I had been blaming Sony the past few months). Points are 1 point per dollar spent. It takes 100 points to equal $1. So with the PS Credit card, you get 5x the points when buying on the PS Store (any purchase), 5x the points when buying on PS direct (sometimes 10x), and you get 3x the points when you pay your internet bill, and 2x the points when you go to a restaurant whether it's fast food, casual, dining out or using a delivery app. It was the internet bill and 5x on PS Store purchases which is why I picked that card. The returns look bad on the outset, but it adds up over time. Earlier this year I got Kena on PS4 disc with PS5 upgrade, I got a $50 PS Store card (used on Sonic Origins Deluxe), I got $30 in gift cards I used towards Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, and now enough points towards getting Sonic Frontiers physically (I chose the native PS5 disc). It's a credit card so you have to pay it off to make it worth it, or else the interest you get will make it not worth it. For me, it's like at least I'm getting something out of paying bills I don't want to pay. TL;DR and conclusion: Sonic Frontiers was _not_ $13, it was 5,999 points ($59.99) and I used points gained from using the PS credit card to buy most of it, plus $5 for shipping for some reason because I never had to pay shipping before, and $3 for taxes, the rest went to cover the lack of points. If I had more points the taxes and shipping would've been covered. I'm saving my points to get Spider-Man 2 next, which will likely be 6,999 points.
Update: Game went on sale for 4,000 points ($40) within two weeks. I called and asked nicely for an adjustment, and I got a refund credit in points for the price difference (the difference of what I paid plus shipping minus what I would've paid plus shipping with the sale price).
Well considering that I currently own the 'Slim' version of the PS2, PS3, and PS4 (I never owned a PS1), it would seem logical for me to hold out for a PS5 Slim. Hopefully it gets released in the fall of 2023 if so. Not a fan of the size and design of the PS5 as it is right now, and frankly I continue to enjoy my PS4 even if the hard drive speed isn't the greatest. I am considering getting a PS Plus subscription for the first time ever with the Black Friday sales on, I might go with the Premium tier since it is less than $20 more per year than the Extra tier and has a slew of PS3 games (even if they are streamed). If I don't like the Premium tier, I can move down next year.
All I want it Getaway Black Monday, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, Alien vs Predators, Sonix Unleashed, DragonBall Z Budokai franchise. Some good games! The shit they’ve been realising like Mysitic said “lacklustre”. Why should anyone pay £100 for a catalog so shit. Yes Gamepass has been out for years but I know for a fact their rollout was good.
They kinda need to add the back catalogue of the PS Now Games to PS4 and PS5 without the streaming bullshit for countries that don't have it. Microsoft is really doing better with Game Pass.
"Sony not fighting low power, not fighting against the PC Space anymore" They are, and even more so than when PS4 pro was announced. Ray tracing is the future of gaming, and the fact that the ps5 is so underpowered it cant even use it in most games suggests theyre at a huge disadvantage
Just figured out I can change my sub from premium to extra on the ps app next time it renews which is in a couple months. I don't see Sony doing anything decent with premium since they haven't said anything about it and won't release anything of value for it either- compared to the multiple games being put out on the extra tier.
It could be they use already matured tech in a 2025 pro to reduce cost, like how Nintendo used the older maxwell tegra for the Switch. That will then allow the PS6 to still shine in 2027 or 2028.
also just a reminder on the MSFT-ATVI deal that this all came from the sexual abuse lawsuits against kotick and he wanted to escape with a golden parachute, this is literally open knowledge about why the deal was happening, the day after the accusations started coming out is when microsoft and spencer and nadella all started talking to atvi because kotick was looking for an emergency escape hatch
Foolishly I paid for a years subscription of Deluxe tier in expectation of ps1 games being available with trophy support. Needless to say it's been vastly disappointing, and I have downgraded to extra for when the subscription auto renews. There's such a vast amount of Sony owned and published ps1 and ps2 games that would have no issues license wise, so it's baffling as to why they continue to not produce the goods for this tier. Extra has been great and has provided a lot of value.
Take that $20 and buy a PS3 instead of paying for Plus. Find a YT vid and throw CFW on it. Now you can play all those retro games when you want instead of waiting for Sony to drop feed them
I'm a bit worried about the ND multiplayer game. I love factions, but then they put in paid for weapons that ruined the balance of the entire game. I really don't want to see this happen again.
@@nothingtosee7718 When did the idea of a sequel that looks like the first but set in different locations become a dirty idea to people? Also you're fuckin delusional if you think actual next gen games will do 4k 60 plus ray tracing that's what PCs are for consoles are for little baby casual gamers that are too scared to build their own PC.
For me personally the entire ps plus catalog hasn’t been appealing. Mine was set to renew this week but I downgraded to the lowest tier possible. None of the ps4/ps5 games have stood out because I’ve played most of them already. Ps3 being streaming only is a huge let down. Then lack of ps1 and ps2 games is the biggest let down.
The problem with PS5 pro is that not many games are taking advantage of the PS5’s power. We don’t need one until the PS5 is being pushed to its limits.
19:08 Again, Ryan, please. It is called a PROCESSOR. A process is just a chain of events. A processor is a computer component. There is no overlap or "well, but", other than that a processor executes processes, hence the name.
Look at all the legendary titles that are from PS1 & PS2 but not on classics cqtalogue, such as Gran Tursimo 2, Driver 1 & 2, Tomb Raider 1-5, Doom (PS1 version), Hybrid, Alone in the Dark 4, Italian Job, Tony Hawks American Wasteland, Silent Hill 4, NFS Underground 2 all to name a few....
Tomb raider (there were at least 4 games i remember on ps1), og spyro and crash, Parasite Evil, Croc, Gex, Hot Wheels. Those are some I can name off top of my head that I remember enjoying and could come to the service. I recently tried streaming Sly Cooper on PS5 and it worked surprisingly well, I tried infamous earlier this year and it was rough.
The endstate goal in my opinion (in a perfect world scenario, obviously i know this won't happen) should be that around 90%of everything that was available on those older consoles are on these services. That's how movie, TV show, ebooks, and music streaming works, why not video games? Also would love to see LBP 1 & 2 come to the service.
@@Silon-g9b Parasite Eve* I'd suggest D for that list too I haven't played it myself but I've heard basically nothing but praise for it and it kinda looks like a Myst style game but more of a horror game oh and Killer 7 cause Suda51 is awesome (maker of Lollipop Chainsaw and No More Heroes).
I think the ps5 is going to be around for a while, even another 10 years like the PS4 was. As the video said, we're already seeing diminished returns, and advancements in graphics are slowing. If a ps6 comes in 2025, there may not be any "ps6" games - just games that run at a ps5 baseline (60fps, 1440p) while acheiving native 4k, 60-120 fps on the new console. Perhaps new games will be simply branded as "playstation" rather than having a corresponding "5" or "6". In short, I don't think we'll have the same generational leaps as we did before.
I feel bad for everyone that signed up for plus premium thinking they were going to get more PS1 games. I wish Sony would cut the bs and just sell PS1 games.
There won't be a need for a Pro model on the PS5 because most game developers will adopt to Real Engine 5 which will give them a lot more resources and make everything much easier. Efficiency.

@@MrZuga89 Oh yeah, I think Extra would be more of a benefit elsewhere anyway since there's not much value for those that just have "Deluxe."
@@dapperfan44 I got PS Premium by upgrading 3 years of PS Now and if it weren't for that I definitely wouldn't have gotten Premium since there isn't much that I want to play or can play since PS3 games are streamable only.
@@GenerationZ313 Facts, honestly
The nastiest thing is they're giving Oddworld: Soulstorm again when they gave it for free months ago as essential..
This is gross PS Plus is a total bs. I wont pay that extra again for premium. Screw them.
Sony was and is never going to implement local play back compat. Msft worked a miracle in negotiating new license agreements for their back compat efforts(OG&360). Dealing with licenses is likely a bigger undertaking than the actual emulation.
That would be the best method. Why bother getting licensing agreements to publish games when people can just use the discs they already own?
Microsoft could have offered whitelist emulation like they did on the 360. The 360 supported a ton of original Xbox games without license issues like NFL Blitz and Tony Hawk.
The XB1/Series systems play older games well but there's SO FEW that are supported, it's a shame.
@@DP12321 Yeah I bought the Sega GT/Jet Set Radio Future disc so I'd own it, unfortunately it does not work in my Series X. I was already aware it wouldn't work, but still.
@@dapperfan44 Perfect example as both those games play on the 360 (albeit not well).
I’ve hooked my ps3 back up. I’ve got so many classic ps1 games I was hoping would get ported to the ps5.
I downgraded my subscription to extra but somehow it feels like an upgrade from premium 🤔💭🤦♀️
They need to just release the full Ps2 n Ps3 catalog
That's the dream, but there's licensing which can be a nightmare to sort out
Cuz where is all the Simpsons games or Rayman raving rabbids. Since we have TMNT cowabunga collection, I hope they make a the Simpsons collection one day
I finally got a PS5 this week
Nice dood, congrats!
Im sure at this point that Sony doesnt know what are they doing with Clasic titles ,or they didnt get the licences that they hoped,or they didnt want to pay or both.
They can at the very least add their own first-party titles.
Both
I think the ratchet and clank series being added is pretty cool.
250 and no removable joy sticks? Not worth it i had last gens and the stick drift was present within 6 months of owning it
Oh man, the number of DualShock 4s I had to return within the warranty window was really shocking. My original one lasted a solid 5 or 6 years or so, then went bad, then I went through like half a dozen within a few months
Playstation has my back catalogue of videogames; I hope more of them became available on subscriptions and the storefront.
Where are the RETRO GAMES?!?
Ps plus is very worth it
They were very needed imo. PlayStation needed something to compete with gamepass
The ps5 is not a "monster," its a solid entry level system
also the CPU is a LOW-END zen2 chip, hugely downclocked from the respective pc chips that was already one generation outdated at launch
@@ammanus356 I can tell you are fun at parties.. jeez.
A ps5 slim redesign I can understand but a ps5 pro when they are not even going full in on "next gen" will probably make me foam at the mouth in anger. Tekken 8 looks to be the first true ps5 game for me and I think will make or break how I ultimately see the console going forward.
Yawn. Ps5 and Ps4 are both missing too many Tekken games for me. Ps3 has the most Tekken Games on a Ps System
Horizon multiplayer is what i been waiting for. I hope we can quest together and pick different races and factions. Make it a real MMORPG game
Making new versions of the PS5 when there aren't that many of the regular ones out there to begin with 😂 😂 brilliant
Also, monetization designer... hahaha.. gaming has become such a disgrace
Glad PS5 Pro is coming. I'm tired of having to choose between FPS and fidelity modes, I assume Pro will be able to do fidelity at 4K. Also PSVR2 will benefit the most from additional power.
Lets talk Ragnarok
They should up the ante with PS Premium delivering at least 1 ps1 game with trophies a month, just to not have it empty. With 1 a month we could have 60 gomes in the next 5 years, which could cover a good chunk of AAA ps1 games. Let's be honest, we have already little to no time to be on schedule with new modern releases.
The fact no one celebrated skyrims 11th year anniversary on 11/11 makes me upset considering the legendary release date of 11/11/11.
Why get a pro over a regular ps5 at that stage
Edit: slim
What are you talking about? PS3 slim, ps3 super slim, ps4 slim. They’re called slim….
Working on Horizon 2, bought Sonic Frontiers through Sony Rewards (cost me $13, didn't have enough points before launch and they also made me pay $5 for shipping)
Dam you can get it for 13 dollars through sony rewards. I need to look into this
@@joeydirt420 (I know this is long, there is a TL;DR at the bottom)
Not exactly.
Replaying Death Stranding on the ps5 and man that game gets me hooked
It's so good
All I want it Getaway Black Monday, Prince of Persia, Tomb Raider, Alien vs Predators, Sonix Unleashed, DragonBall Z Budokai franchise. Some good games! The shit they’ve been realising like Mysitic said “lacklustre”. Why should anyone pay £100 for a catalog so shit. Yes Gamepass has been out for years but I know for a fact their rollout was good.
Fixing to drop the premium tier and go to Extra. Just not worth it. Currently loving GoW.
Pls make part 3 of 30 plats in 30 days, and keep going your doing good
Why a foreign company like tencent don't get the same scrutiny that Microsoft is getting?
Still happy with my PS4 pro. Probably take few years till ps5 fully established with its games.
I got my ragnarok disc yesterday and I already have 9 hours, the game is a masterpiece so far, def worth buying
Just DLC, its a PS4 game...

Gotta ask! Outside of YouTub, what do you do for a living?! I love your channel and your always my first source for all things PlayStation!!
And i agree with you... PS5 Pro wouldnt really make sense.
Jim Ryan said subs are mainly for live services. I'm still waiting to see what he meant. Maybe Premium is a placeholder for it?
I dont give a crap about live service games.....I'm tired of the gaming industry devolving into a casino/subscription service.
They 100% referred to the ps2 slim and the ps3 slim as such. They didn’t put it on the console, but that’s what they and every retailer called them.
I feel bad for everyone that signed up for plus premium thinking they were going to get more PS1 games. I wish Sony would cut the bs and just sell PS1 games.
I think the best deal is the extra tier of ps+. Its basically the old ps+ with xbox gamepass but for PlayStation baked in.
